Plus, imagine her.
Assaulting the New York Huntsclan.
With a Gargoyle.
And WAY too many bugs.

Not to mention Janna has an Artifact Pet (TM)
"I resent that!" -Felldrake
So Lizzy needs one too! Right?

Actually, does tom have a pet? I bet amur can endear him to us. Amur doesn't need to be with him now, but if tom decides he likes them then we'll have something for tom to look forward to when he comes to dei(besides all the other people who could come to him)

He has a pet rabbit that acts as his anger management tool. He pets it to help him calm down. He is shown to have had a childhood pet named "Little Lord Feel-leroy" though it is unknown if it is still alive. He also has a skeleton horse.

He may or may not have a dragon cycle. It depends. The timeline having shifted at the S3 premiere likely prevented that since he wouldn't have joined in with Marco and Hekapoo's little motorcycle gang. It's still possible Marco might have gotten him to get one when the two hang out, but it is unlikely.

Are we doing another tally or just general agreement? Either way:

-[?] Lizzy

Chuck the gargate at the formicidae for situational diplomacy bump.

Practically speaking, if we wanted to make the most of that +10 diplo bonus, we'd assign him to Kitsune, but what the hell.

I want to see Amur and Lizzie develop a communication system based entirely on eyebrow movements and grunts together.

Mechanically Amur should probably go with Kitsune, since she's the designated diplomat of the party and interacting with gargoyles seems likely. Tom could be okay for the night martial bonus, but I think Kitsune is better, and Tom won't be around DEI that much so Amur should bond with someone who'll be there.

Remember that Kitsune isn't fun of 'Owen', I'm not sure she would love this assignment to Newyork, a pet/bodyguard could probably help.

Exit MacBeth? (3/3)
And now the conclusion to my (not very thrilling) omake trilogy. Initially, I had a slightly different idea of where to take this, but with the excitement of the last few days, I think that I am going to leave things here. Hopefully, it will be at least somewhat enjoyable for somebody, even if it is a bit of a lame anticlimax.

Previously, on Doofquest...

"My role is that of a sick, dying man. I will spare you the details, but I suffer a degenerative neuromuscular disease and an unpleasant one, at that. Modern medicine offers only palliative treatments. More drastic options, up to and including extensive cybernetic replacements, are at best stopgaps.
"Accordingly, I started exploring esoteric fields, eventually discovering that there is more to magic than I once assumed. Tell me, professor, what do you know about the transmigration of souls?"

Exit MacBeth? (3/3)

Macbeth did not reply immediately. His own understanding of magical nuances was less than complete. He had learned a good number of parlor tricks, mastered a few useful spells and obtained a number of minor artifacts by hook or by crook, but what he had never managed to do in all his centuries was finding a trustworthy sorcerer willing to teach him about the higher mysteries.

Of course, the same could be said of Demona. She had once been apprentice to the court wizard of Castle Wyvern, but in the distant days of their alliance she had often complained (loudly and bitterly) about how she had been more servant than student to that terrible man.

And the soul was a particularly delicate matter. Magic dealing with it was something that fell within the province of both the darkest and the holiest, neither of which he had ever had much use for. The former he had always rejected, even in his bleakest hours, while the latter had rejected him.

So in truth he had no ready answer for the question that had just been asked. In lieu of revealing his ignorance, he fell back on that ever-reliable friend, deflection.

"Why do you keep calling me 'professor'?"

"You may have decided to give up your chair at the University of Saint Andrews, but you earned that position on your own merit, with your own work. I respect that. Besides, what else am I supposed to call you?"

"You know my secret. MacBeth is quite good enough," replied the old king, bemused by the praise. His time teaching in Scotland's oldest university had spanned nearly twenty years, but it had been just something to keep himself busy with after Demona's trail had gone cold as ice once more. Being honored for something that had been little more than an amusement felt downright dishonest.

"As you prefer. Now, about my question?"

"You are implying that you have access to magical means to carry out an spiritual transference."

"I do. A kabalistic incantation," said Renard, with a firm nod.

"To be honest, that sounds like an extraordinarily dangerous piece of magic. If it doesn't work perfectly right, the consequences..."

"It works."

"What?"

"The spell has been used three times, using myself as a test subject," said Renard, before elaborating. "Once with a magical construct, once with a great ape, once with a cybernetic body. In all three instances, the transference itself was successful. In all three instances, the replacement bodies proved unsuitable for one reason or another."

"And you hope that a human body will not present such issues," finished MacBeth, getting a sharp nod in reply. "However, with your resources, how is it that...?"

"Not so long ago, somebody reminded me of the value of integrity and pulled me out of a pit of despair. That person is gone now, but there remains a debt. Preying upon the weak, the desperate or the suicidal would be poor repayment."

"And a poor idea besides. Kabbalah calls upon Heaven's power. The results of an unrighteous soul attempting such a thing could be... messy," commented MacBeth, closing his eyes in disgust after recalling a particularly sordid affair in 14th century France. A sudden intake of breath had him opening them again to see that Renard looked vaguely dumbstruck. "You hadn't considered the possibility?"

"Didn't I just mention rash actions motivated by despair?"

"... I know that you probably do not feel it, given your condition, but if you are telling the truth, you are a very fortunate man."

"If it makes you more likely to consider my proposal, I can provide you with documentation that should help establish my bona fides. I have told you the truth and nothing but the truth."

"Do not take this as promise of agreement, but I am willing to read that documentation, before giving you my final answer. I have no fear of death, but I am in no hurry to end it all, either. At the very least, Demona remains unfinished business."

"That would be the gargoyle you are bonded to? As I said earlier, I think that Xanatos is preparing for a confrontation with her. So am I, since she is apparently a threat to my sole living descendant. We probably have a commonality of interests, there."

"Interesting. Then, while I still have reservations and many, many concerns about your initial proposal, I am going to suggest that we pool efforts. Ruining her schemes is always a treat and if we were to capture her... why, it would be the best Christmas present in centuries!"

"That sounds like an eminently agreeable proposal."

"Excellent. We can discuss details over dinner," said MacBeth. Looking out of the window, he saw that the limo was now entering northern Manhattan. They were still ten or fifteen minutes away from his mansion. Good enough. Producing his mobile phone from a pocket, he rang his newest employee.

"It is me, Miss Beakley. It seems we will be having two guests for dinner. Yes, yes I understand. Sorry about the short notice."

Yeah, after seeing the pushes for Kitsune vs. Lizzy, I think I'll settle on Kitsune. I don't know if I am supposed to vote, or if this is just a general discussion thing.

Mechanically the best option would probably be to give Amur to Kitsune. We're probably going to have a chance to Diplomacy with Gargoyles and this might make Reaching out to Magical New York easier.

Some people were saying we should have Russ on it, and that means putting him on an Intrigue action, in New York.
The action isn't a requirement, we could have put Russ on a action that doesn't take place in New York and it would have acted as if he wasn't on the action at all. Or a personal action that would have done nothing

Lizzy: I am more akin to an ant than i am a human. Unfeeling, unwanting, unthinking of anything but my next purpose. I need nothing of affection, of companionship, or cheer. To say I am anything other than what i am is not only incorrect, but also -

Amur: *purrs and nuzzles up next to Lizzy*

Lizzy: ... I'm keeping this.

I said I was going to bed on Discord, and this post is evidence i should follow through

Gud Post Yellow MLP Lady once again makes a gud post. I think Lizzy would be excellent.
