Oh yeah, I wanted to make a quick n short n sweet list of potential Doppelbots to make!

Choose wisely, it's unlikely the QMs will keep letting us pull Herobots out of our hat every two turns.

Jack Sparrow (Added by Compiler)

We can't do that. We can't grab someone's spirit and shove them into a new body, and we don't have enough information about her to make a copy of her mind/skills.

...You're probably right. Was there WoG on this? There was probably WoG on this.
Closest I can remember was this:
"Eh, I wouldn't get too excited," the witch-girl notes. "I asked if we could maybe bring back John Keats too, Doof said Khan was kinda a one-time thing."

"He couldn't clone me a new body either," Felldrake grumbles.
If we can't shove Felldrake into an organic body that at least shares his species, I doubt we could put him or another disembodied soul in a inorganic body that is completely different structurally and metaphysically to what they used to have.

Crisis: Twelfth Night- Lauds
"Why do I have to wear this stupid hat?" Tom complained as he walked down the street. As usual on the dusty streets of afternoon New York, people yelling at each other went completely unremarked.

"Because you wouldn't let me file down your stupid horns." you reply. "And you can't keep your third eye shut."

"You're carrying a duck staff!"

"I'm a goose."

Janna nodded. "And this is New York, there's street magicians with dumber getups."

"Hey!" A pink-haired busker called from across the street.

Janna paused. "Was that the weird chick from the au… you know what I don't care. Moving on."

"Come on!" Tom refused to let it go. "I saw three guys in gaudy costumes on the way over here! You're telling me horns would be out of place but Mr. Honk isn't?"

"You're getting on my nerves Imp Boy." Feldrake complained.

"You gonna do anything about it?"

"Yes!" Feldrake replied. "Janna! Do something about it!"

"Later. Focus on finding Marco."

"So what's he doing in a place like this anyway?" Tom asked. "Last time we talked he didn't mention anything."

"He's supposed to be doing a job for the Dracon outfit. Local crime syndicate, pretty standard. All we gotta do is sneak in and get him."

"Are Earth crime syndicates… hard to infiltrate? I'm not really from around here."

"Nope."

"Oh good!" Tom replied gormlessly. "Besides, it's just the two of us, just like old times. It'll be easy!"

"Hello." Lizzy said.

Tom screamed at the top of his lungs and as shrill as a train whistle.

"AAAAGH! Who are you?!?!"

"Lizzy?" Janna asked confusedly. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to hang out."

"What?"

"You wouldn't tell me where you were going." Lizzy said, again in her usual monotone. She was dressed in a black dress that somewhat resembled a normal person's outfit, but she still had her control helmet, which she as usual refused to leave behind. At least she was carrying and not wearing it. "The last time someone wouldn't tell me where they were going they didn't come back."

Janna grimaced. "Look Lizzy, I'm trying to find… another friend. But he's really paranoid so I didn't want to bring anyone he didn't know."

"How did you even follow us halfway across the country?" Tom asked, still freaked out and confused.

"Formorian ants are capable of chewing through solid steel."

"That… that didn't answer anything." Tom said nervously.

"No no, that clears it up." Janna nodded. "All right Lizzy I… I appreciate it, I guess. You can come just… let us take the lead, ok? Marco's always been jumpy around me."

"I wonder why." Tom said sarcastically.

"You're increasing the chances I do what the goose wants Tom."

"Okay okay! Let's just find this crime… place."

Success!

Janna had half expected a laundromat or a mattress store. What she got was even worse. Tucked away in an exceptionally disreputable corner of Belmont was a small Italian restaurant by the name of 'Mamma Luciano's'. It had all the hallmarks. Nervous waitstaff, a handful of 'regulars' who got treated like decapitation-happy kings, and a 'backroom' that most people didn't realize you could get served in. Oh, and inexplicably good food for how rundown the neighborhood was.

"C'mon, we're headed around the back." Janna said simply.

"Why?" Lizzy asked blandly.

"This is a mob front. We don't know if it's our mob front. Dickens gave us a few options. We need to find evidence that Mr. 'I'm Cazador' is stopping by tonight."

As they rounded the corner, they noted a couple of surly-faced, heavy lidded enforcers lounging by the door. They had the sorts of faces that promised at least one shiv was hidden somewhere on their person.

"Okay." Tom said. "...how do we do that?"

[ ] Talk Fast
She never elaborates, but Janna regularly insists she 'knows a guy'. Maybe she has the magic words?

[ ] Sneak In
Mob goons are far from the most impressive targets you've tricked. You'll be in before they finish the antipasto.

[ ] Use Magic
What's the point of having an evil magic staff if you can't casually violate other people's autonomy with it?

There will be a six hour moratorium on voting.

Hmm, so Kitsune's not around yet.
Talk fast is almost certainly out. Without Kitsune, the Diplo stat Is +17 after loyalty and other penalties

Use magic should be roughly +50ish versus intrigue +40

Could be a moralistic argument to use intrigue.

Might want to avoid breaking the magic Masquerade.

Using magic to find Cazador... doesn't sound like the best idea when he's up against Toffee.

Counterpoint: I think we're about to witness the shattering of a few levels of Masquerade.

Violently.

With potential, actual, dying involved.

"The last time someone wouldn't tell me where they were going they didn't come back."
Um. Tragic Backstory Alert? I thought her backstory was the competition with Stanley.
"How did you even follow us halfway across the country?" Tom asked, still freaked out and confused.

Are these things real? I tried googling it but all I got was stuff from DnD or MtG.

So did she have some of these possibly-made-up ants chew through the outside of an airplane so she could stowaway? ...That sounds dangerous as hell. Both for the airplane, and herself.

Janna runs on bullshit so fast talking isn't a bad choice. And I'm not sure I like the idea of, "violating other people's autonomy," but that's pretty classic Janna who did the hypno sleep trick on Marco multiple times just to fuck with him or when Marco was being unproductive.

I want to vote for Janna lying. Watching Janna lie is the most hilarious and best part of this quest.

Just remember quests arn't affected by the Inator, regular successes and failures are possible.
The inator doesn't take effect until next turn anyway.

Statwise I think it Goes

Diplo: 6 + 17(Tom Diplo) -5(Lizzy trait) -1(Tom loyalty) = 17
Intrigue: 22 + 17(Lizzy intrigue) + 1 = 40
Occult: 25 + 22 - 2 = 45

As funny as trying to fast talk them would be, I think I'm going to default to my line of thinking for Blue Hawaii: sneak in while they still don't know we're here, talk our way out if we get caught.
