that one I really like

both because the huntsclan needs to be taken down a few pegs and because it would sate Kitsunes "Goblin Fox" trait
I am not sure our faction is aware of the Huntsclan in any functional manner yet.

Also, fairly certain being in battle qualifies enough to sate "Goblin Fox"
Goblin Fox: Kitsune attributes her long life to making life difficult for others. After being assigned to an action where she does not inflict physical, mental, social, or spiritual harm to someone, she must cause harm or take a personal action on the subsequent turn. Examples of "harm" include violence, theft, sabotage, a PR attack, or other malicious behavior. Goblin Fox is active this turn!

The description says it'll target someone we dont like, and the huntsclan would be the only foes in New York we could pin down before this( them or the morganians but-)

Kitsune should since she's a target for them

Plus, we already met those Huntsclan asshats during the Auction, so that´s that.

I am all for making them and/or the Morganians bleed while we are there, helping out the poor people of NYC as well as Xanatos

That's why I wrote "in any functional manner yet" rather than "we don't know them at all." Knowing that some members attacked during the auction isn't the same thing as being wholly cognizant of their faction, no more than being robbed in New York makes you wholly cognizant of all information of the NYC's Mob families. That said, Kash's point on Kitsune likely knowing more than DEI holds well enough.

It occurs to me there's another factor to consider as far as potentially sending Hego into New York goes. Although its repeal looks imminent, the SRA is still at least nominally in effect, and Hego's the sort of law-abiding idealist who'd probably let himself be arrested.

Sure, the police would probably look the other way. But bribing them might take an action, and Hego might be disappointed in us for such underhanded, villainous behavior.
For one, it's just a joke. No need to introduce RL logic to an obvious joke unless it is something people genuinely don't appear to get on their own that is applicable to the general quest.

Secondly, the joke is that it happens in the span of 5 or so seconds so there wouldn't be need for an action.

Doof: hego, you saved a daycare center from collapsing; one of the kids even drew a picture of you riding a dinosaur as thanks!

Hego: but I did it illegally!

Doof: *Sigh* this is why I dont take you anywhere

Didn't they attack us at the auction?

Do we urgently require more enemies? The Morganians' individual sorcerors are powerful enough to be significant threats in their own right, and if they started going after us as a collective whole we'd have real problems on our hand. We shouldn't antagonize more factions than we have to.

Officer Rob: if you cant do the time dont do the crime

Hego:....

Officer Rob, whose been bribed by Shego/Xanatos/Doof: Okay times up. Get out
I mean, Xanatos probably owns the NYPD practically in fee simple at this point, so yeah. I don't foresee many problems with them.

we could, hypothetically, send Kitsune to make chaos. As a magical being. In New York. While the masquerade is being stretched perhaps to breaking

I'm sure Xany would love love love that. We can call you Xany, right? We're friends.

Can´t we just claim "friendly fire" in the heat of the moment and snag the Encantus?

The huntsclan is gonna hate us when we open the borders for magical creatures, might as well take potshots while we can

Also kitsune might not know about the morganians beyond "they exist"

But this is controlled chaos meant to strike at the people who're already capitalizing on the masquerade breaking

Hey, any thoughts on why gargoyles are trying to kill Marco/Janna?
They're in the general area.

It sounds trite but that's probably it.

If I had to guess Demona made her play, and then the Huntsclan just leapt at the opportunity.

...damn it, the aftermath is going to be a mess. At least we'll get a ton of new actions out of it, hopefully with low DC's?

I was talking about antagonizing the Morganians. The Huntsclan appears to hate all of the everyone anyway, so there's not much to be gained by, ah, not antagonizing them. Go wild on them for all I care.

A bit of a digression but did anyone solve that cipher we got?
I messed about with it last night while not sleeping for reasons that need not be mentioned here.

All I learned is that I'm bad at ciphers. One style I did try actually had cartoon in the text but the rest was gibberish and I don't remember the cipher style I tried.

Probably should have kept notes in retrospect but in my defense it was very early in the morning.
