When you put together your dinosaur engineering, vehicle design, and Split/Second, I like to imagine it unlocks something special. Like, I don't know, a Dinosaur Kart Racing action.

This isn't a spoiler, I just made it up.

Well something that some people forgot we can't give Felldrake to Malifishmertz because he is a ghost. Malifishmertz can't hold him.

About next turn: everyone says we should hire the Dickens to spy on our employees, then give it personal attention so that the odds of success are increased. Question: can we even do that? For one thing, the Dickens aren't one of our hero units, so we can't really do any oversight on them. For another, whatever they do counts as a personal action. Personal attention is only applicable to national actions last I checked

Um...maybe? Sure, hiring the Dickens to takes a personal action, but then they do a national action, and we might be able to.give the national action we want them to do our Personal Attention. Hiring them only takes a single personal action anyway, which leaves us with the three needed to give something our personal attention. So.theoretically it's possible.

Ugh, the cost of the Commodore makes me wonder, could we possibly make a robotic doppelganger of Sherlock Holmes or someone like him to have someone just as good with no exorbitant pricetag attached?

...Or we could just make a robotic double of the Commodore who getting a psychological profile would be much easier to do. I literally just realized that was an option.
You want the original or the toon version?

This strange, wooden octagon is slightly smaller than a human palm. It is covered on all sides by miniscule runes you cannot read. While at first it appears solid, a hidden latch reveals it is in fact filled with several thin panes of wood of the same color and form as the exterior. Malifishmertz warns you it has been enchanted to catch flame if any human touches it, but what if any other magic it holds is unknown. Research this to learn more!
Ah, fortunately we have many Normbots to try opening it instead!

Also several nonhuman employees, but there's the off chance that they might need workman's comp if it turns out the combustion part just never was tested against Toons, aliens, or other beings we have access to.

It's definitely attractive since it increases income AND public opinion, it's just that we're not sure if we'll take it next turn because we've got other, equally useful options to choose from.
Yeah, Dinosaur Entertainment is slightly higher priority. Smaller boost to public opinion, but gives us serious genetics cred and the DC is even lower- good, given the Probability-inator.

IIRC the LEGO adaptations of Jurassic World had a gag where the velociraptors would ride motorcycles. That sounds like it could be fun.

Ok, so here's what I'm thinking for Intrigue.

We haven't seen anything from the Phantom Blot, but he's an Intrigue specialist, and a criminal to boot, so his parting shot at Doom might not be something we see. Regardless, he's Russ' nemesis, so if an action pops up next turn, we'll set Russ on it. However, operating on the idea that he'll be staying one more turn in Doom Town, we can set Russ on Investigate Hawk's Death or Investigate Employees and have a decent chance of success on both, assuming the DC for the former isn't 150 or something. I'm not sure if Tooned In will trigger on Hawk's Death due to the focus potentially being more on finding out who killed Hawk than on exonerating Bobcat. Then again, Doom is secretly a Toon, so maybe Russ' trait will kick in anyway? Either way, Secret Keeper will definitely trigger. As for spying on employees, I'm not sure if Secret Keeper will trigger on that, and regardless we're likely to not find out as much about Russ himself since he's the one who'll be doing the investigating. Still, if Kat is discovered, I don't mind.

As for the Dickens' we can hire them to do whatever we're not having Russ do. They do have a 55 Intrigue score if we hire them all, and that's higher than Russ' score if even a single one of his traits doesn't trigger. Besides, we're apparently going to get a chance to hire them permanently if we keep hiring them, so maybe this will be the final one? It'll be interesting to see how that affects our finances at least.

As for our third action...I dunno, we can set up a spy ring in Cape Suzette or Zootopia. I'd prefer the latter if we do Reach out to Shere Khan, but I'm good either way.

We could do corporate espionage on Xanatos enterprises. I see absolutely nothing that could possibly go wrong with doing this.

(This is a joke, do not take this seriously)

...so, a thought.

We already have precedent for the "thinly veiled expy of cool magical artifact from non-Disney property." in the form of the Shengxiao. And we already have Not!Papillion, from Not!Miraculous Ladybug, hanging around in France.

So, uh ...

Is this the case which holds the Miraculouses?

By the way, can someone please send me a link to the Discord server? I've finally set up an account there, and I'm hoping to get in on this.
Sorry, I decided to make it an elite club on a whim. Nobody is allowed in unless they wire money to my offshore bank account.

Doof : Well it probably won't be so bad if I give it to a non-human person !

Kitsune, two seconds after being given the object :

Magic Training would have less chances of failure with PA.

Besides, have you considered what would happen if we critfail cyber security and the Cybugs critsuccess? Because I'm sure that wouldn't be pretty. It'd probably doom DoofOS in fact, completely.
Of course it would have a less chance of failure with Personal Attention. However, the Mongolian Boot Camp took three of Doof's personal actions to attend. If this action does exist, we can expect similar prerequisites. That makes Personal Attention impossible.

Yes, that is why I would want personal attention. With XP Alan has a 38% CoF, and that should be basically negligible with PA.

So, how does having LOVEMUFFIN study the SHIV laser next turn sound? Their odds of success are decent, and it frees up our other two Learning actions for important stuff like dinosaur stuff and genetic diseases.

Depending on the superpower thing we could do that and the dinosaur. That way we can get Rondy's head back to normal and get a loyalty buff for LOVEMUFFIN

This is a fantastic point I hadn't considered. You're probably right.

I guess we can give personal attention to computer security then. The Commodore has a really good chance of passing spy on employees on his own.
