Welp. That got dark.
She has a +30 to robot related actions.-- [] Upgrade Normbots to Current Standard (Wendy Wower) - Honestly, I just picked this off the other plan, but I want to point out that Wendy has low martial, and that this is a martial action. Maybe consider Roof-mounted cannons with Lizzy.
Wouldn't Janus be better at this than Roddy?-- [] Dinosaur Entertainment (Roddy Blair) - Because everyone wants this done, and quite frankly, I want it done before someone else does it.
Environmental Adaptations has a DC of 130. Given that a lot of our bonuses/maluses for enemies comes from Dinosaurs (like, against crime) and given that the Phantom Blot is coming to town, I want to get on it. ENCOM is notorious for their NDAs. This is something which would surely be covered by them. Visiting Graceland would boost Jumba's Loyalty a lot, but I think that can wait a bit.Good points all. I'm not sure what the CoS is for Environmental Adaptations (Dinosaurs) is with Jumba attached to it, but I'm guessing it's somewhere in the 90% range.
I thought Alan would be a good choice for the Shiva laser given his franchise setting. I'm open to suggestions regarding replacement actions.
And taking a "SWOLEMUFFIN" approach to personals works for me. The Jumba thing in particular is more of a fancy on my part, although I really do think it would make his loyalty skyrocket.
To my knowledge he hadn't been pressured to sign any non-competition agreements, though of course ENCOM's NDAs are famously hellish.
I don't see why given that Roddy has a trait that would boost his roll on that and has higher stewardship than Janus.
Alan is a hacker fighting a shadow war against the MCP, I hardly think he'd care about strict legality.Environmental Adaptations has a DC of 130. Maybe we should put Alan on his personal action next turn, in hopes of countering hackers. I don't exactly feel good about a 50% chance of crit-failing.Alan is a hacker fighting a shadow war against the MCP, I hardly think he'd care about strict legality.
Correction:[X] Challenge the Duke of Detroit to a competitive Monster Truck Rally and invite Xanatos to watch
Wait, what? Wasn't the Shiva laser DC 90?Maybe we should put Alan on his personal action next turn, in hopes of countering hackers. I don't exactly feel good about a 50% chance of crit-failing.
We can put L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. on that.
In case this has confused anyone else, the heroball in the DoofQuest spinoff is not a representation of how heroballs work in this quest. I was unaware of how heroballs in this quest worked, so I just made up my own system. (That actually describes a lot of stuff in the spinoff, actually)That makes a fair amount of sense; after seeing Team Go in the spin-off I wasn't sure if that was a result of them talking with the QMs here and a show of the system at work or if it was something original.
Why wouldn't we send russ?If people are worried about investigating Alonso Hawk (wanting to do it next turn), we could send Tobe on that. Tobe would have an effective 31 intrigue, which would be higher than Kitsune's effective 30 intrigue.
He'll be dealing with the Blot.
Do you disagree with the idea that we could get her through a hire rogues/villains action done by Technor, with a crit?If we are going to spend a Diplomacy action hiring people from our Rolodex .... I want Juniper.
We've been talking about hiring her since basically forever, if we are taking that action I want it to be for her.
I do! I very much disagree, because the pattern I'm seeing is that if they're in the Rolodex already, you cannot recruit them via gacha anymore. He'll be dealing with the Blot.

It doesn't say that anywhere, and imagine how silly we'd look if it worked that way.I do! I very much disagree, because the pattern I'm seeing is that if they're in the Rolodex already, you cannot recruit them via gacha anymore.
We can put L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. on that.
Edit: Might as well keep updating this on the off chance it becomes suitable to being a plan.
[X] Plan: Prioritize, Prioritize, and Prioritize 0.2
- [X] National Actions
-- [X] Upgrade Normbots to Current Standard (Wendy Wower) - This should provide a pretty monumental boost to our defense.
-- [X] Build roof-mounted laser cannons (Queen Lizzy) - Let's get it done, and done well.
-- [X] Recruit from your Rolodex: Gomez (Goofy) - Because Gomez, as an "eccentric scientist that meddles with magic" both fits DEI exceptionally well, and will be more likely to be hired by other people if/when the Magic Masquerade breaks than people like the Glooms, Hans Rotwood, and Juniper.
-- [X] Recruit rogues and villainous capes (Technor) - Because let's get Juniper through this. It makes sense in character and out of character. It also has a slightly lower DC than recruiting heroic capes.
-- [X] Dinosaur Entertainment (Roddy Blair) - Because everyone wants this done, and quite frankly, I want it done before someone else does it.
--[X] Study the SHV 20905 Plans (L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N.) - This seems like mad science to me.
-- [X] Study the Crystal Key (Janna) - Because this should be done when it can reasonably get a crit.
- [X] Personal Actions
-- [X] Doofenshmirtz
--- [X] Tell CJ to look into DoofOS - Because this has to be done.
-- [X] Alan Bradley
--- [X] ??? - In hopes that this counters bad stuff without risking a crit fail.

@C-Moon Is it possible to recruit someone specific from the Rolodex by critting a 'Recruit Heroes/Villains' action?
C-MoonToday at 10:56 PM
No? Why would it be?
You have a separate action for recruiting from the rolodex.
That question was a bit weirdly phrased, given the real relevance is that Technor is the one doing the action, but whatever.
