... Are you only saying that because you failed? Is there no In-character, Out-of-character separation for you?An Occult check? Ehh I'm quite confident there's nothing supernatural here anyway aside from the DVV-standard paradoxes.
So... It looks like total gains this turn are:
Recruits:
Wasabi!
Marco!
DCs, Bonuses, and Maluses:
-5 Martial against Doof directly, and +5 Doof martial when he's acting directly on Quests
Janna's Martial +2! Janna Pet +2! Total; Janna Martial/combat effects: +4!
Agent Russ +2 to Combat in Spycycle
Dennis Loyalty Boost
625/Jumba Loyalty Boost
Enemy drug ring infiltration DC increased.
Options:
power armor unlocked!
Create Doppleganger Bodies.
Combine Doppleganger Bodies with AI.
Miscellaneous Drug Ring/Shego options (Bribe/Help/Betray).
Miscellaneous:
A single attempt to subvert your Normbots will no longer spread to every unit.
High Command has been revealed as a ruse, and the drug ring is alive and well!
Musical (Progress revealed: 91/200)
Khan Tech (Progress revealed: 64/200)
Agent Russ can fly on his Spycycle!
Interlude: Executive Summary (Visiting Zaibatsu with Mirage and Vanessa)
Interlude: Malf's Castle Moving (Moving the castle)
Interlude: Plan B (Monogram's Bumbling ineptitude at investigation, and Jumba's colossal Competence at genetics)
Interlude: Fredzilla meets Agent Unknown (Fred and Max: Buddy Cops in San Fran 'Sokyo)
Interlude: Speech of the Devil (Tom talks to Star's relatives)
Interlude: The First Day of Christmas (Our First Christmas Gift is Marco!)
Interlude: Absolutely No Jutsu (Tobe Learns Ninja Magic [hopefully?])
I wonder how those two relate to each other? Did Monogram discover that Jumba was a supervillain?
[ ] The Probabilitor-Inator, doubled!
Every success is a critical success. Every failure is a critical failure. Roll 1d20 for the random event roll, and flip a coin. If it's heads, the 1d20 corresponds to 80-100. If it's tails, the 1d20 corresponds to 1-20.
So, we want stuff we can easily succeed on but not easily crit on? Huh. Next turn is gonna be wild.
So overall not a bad turn? Some loyalty boosts, which is kinda annoying but not bad? Hints at a Jumba/Dennis Heroball there too. Some Martial and combat bonuses to Janna and Russ. We got a New Hero, advanced our AI Tree, and almost certainly advanced our Genetics. We got two new recruits and got some stuff to entice Shego into a second date with! We've also unlocked Malphy for recruiting next turn. Ideally we've also increased Tobe's occult; and opened up San Fransokyo. All in-all not a bad turn at all.
