a good 'hero' lair for Hego seems like a good starter project. maybe up his loyalty a bit?

He'd be great for our software development.

We can finally stop pushing off moving the castle. Also, we have some tech options he'd benifit from.

Alan and Roddy for me. Cyberworld questline is just too big to ignore and the lair master is just perfect for Doof. Beside them is Wasabi who is a good Stewardship hero and open a lot of doors to the Big Hero Six franchise.

Just to argue the Devil's Advocate point, once the Masquerade does break and his theories are proven correct, Rotwood's star will probably be on the rise.

Once he has access to actual magical creatures to study, his stats are likely to shoot up since he is actually brilliant, so we might have a limited opportunity window to recruit him for maximum loyalty gain (or at all, if he gets hired by someone else).
This, he and Gomez are great people to get before the masquerade falls

On the plus side, Roddy still opens up BH6 doors. He is a friend of Fred's dad after all who, which could also play well with kickstarting character development on Hego's end if he gets high enough loyalty to utilize some of his old connections.

Roddy will probably be extremely useful in any expansion efforts into something like space or other dimensions.
He actually has very little tolerance for that sort of nonsense. At least, he didn't in his Big Hero 6 Appearance. He'll give us a great mundane Lair. but he torpedoed Fred's zero gravity room idea and basically won't listen to what he thinks is "nonsense." that's his low tolerance for quirkiness at work.

i really want wasabi but he isn't strictly neccesary. Roddy is strictly neccesary, as is Alan if we don't want to get fucked by the grid plotline...hey,since in canon Tron Legacy IS What hapens when Clu 2 wins, I wonder what's up in The Grid?

Wasabi's explicitly Stewardship. If you want Roddy for Stewardship Wasabi can work just as well. he'll also be super useful for any Tech stuff we do. And in addition to that? He's combat capable. And gives us a link to the Combat hero Gogo, and the combat Hero Fred, and through Fred, the (probably stewardship) hero Hiro (who is working with fred).
Not all Stewardship Heroes are born equal. Saying that one is just as good as the other might be a tad presumptuous.

Also, with the amount of people we already want to recruit, do we really want to go all-in on recruiting BH6 into our already Learning-heavy Hero pool? The only ones from that pack I feel are standouts are Hiro and Honeylemon, and Honey only because she has ties to Globby.

I suppose I could see us using BH6 as our Black Ops team, if we went to the trouble of recruiting them all.

Edit: it's not that they're bad, we just have a lot of more urgent names to hire, and not a lot of actions to do it in.

I feel like Wasabi would be a really good addition to the Black Ops team. He's probably well rounded in stewardship, martial and learning. Definitely a good option.

I had uprooted my older post, but it got lost in the page flow so here it is, freshly transplanted!

Oh! By the way!
I realized this is QUITE LITERALLY the "Poke every front they haven't yet, and add in a mystery box." Update!

Wasabi: We haven't even TOUCHED fusion.
Teacher Man: Occult Mystery Box.
Adam: We gave up on the VERY IMPORTANT ENCOM front.
Roddy: Y'ALL NEED TO MOVE THAT CASTLE.

So my reasoning is such: Assuming each of these fronts are important enough that QM gives us a specific hero to JUST DO THEM ALREADY with, we neet to take this crit quite seriously.

Wasabi: No. Why start the Fusion chain when we can just... Diplo and then Flubber?

Teacher Man: No. Why would we detonate the Masquerade when we could just... let it detonate itself?

Adam: We gave up on the ENCOM front, and QM is giving us an in. Complete with a big WARNING: TIME SENSITIVE sticker. YES.

Roddy: Ok... How many turns have we "Next turn"'d the castle? Let's just get it done already, especially since Roddy'll be damn fine later for Base Building(TM)

You're right.
Wasabi's a better Stewardship hero because he can actually run stewardship on a ton of things we actually do, like super-science. I'd be much more confident in him than in LoveMuffin. Also, we can move the castle using him if we want to.

Alan or Wasabi/Roddy for me. Roddy does sound great, but we don't really have that many construction options I guess. I really want to hire Hans because fun interactions and growth potential, but sadly I feel like people aren't going to vote for him, so I guess hiring him will be delayed to the future...

Alan's pretty much a must-have. Someone tied deeply into the Cyberspace situation would be pretty important to get on our side even if they weren't skilled at their job. Especially since there isn't much awareness, and thus competition, of how much potential is in that field, and we've been all but told that the MCP is gearing up for something big.

As for the second unit, I think Wasabi would be more useful in general but Roddy is very good for several of our specific projects. Getting that castle moved and the lair upgraded would be very helpful right now. If we had some pressing threat bearing down in the foreseeable future I'd say Roddy, but Wasabi will probably be better long-term. Especially when we can have Technor help him with his anxiety issues.

I'd rather get Stewardship specialists than multi-class generalists, and given the list of people we'd already like to hire I find the argument that we can just hire the non-time-sensitive people later uncompelling. So I'd want Rodney over Wasabi in general. Given that he'll probably be very good at moving the castle, I consider Rodney a must-pick.

As for the second pick, I do want to be able to push back against ENCOM eventually, if not right now, which makes Alan the logical choice.

Also, as we get more and more cards we actually want added to the rolodex, I'm more and more personally willing to start having Mirage take her hero gacha personal action when we can. Relatively few of the heroes on offer are outright bad for us, a fair number would be somewhat useful (or at least good as Black Ops team bait), and there are several good highrolls on the list, including whoever we don't hire out of this bunch.
