I don't care witch Ninja thing we get as long as we can get them. not to mention that we can always steal the things we want from the buyers afterwards(in Xanitos' case negotiate) we are a Supervillain after all. and stealing actioned Items we lost on is the kind of pettiness Doof would do.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I don't want the cookbook. 6-7 points on the scrolls and save the rest for 2 guaranteed items items in round 3

People are saying don't get the sword but it could be a anti Toffee anti Bill weapon. In addition if it absorbs magic then magical defenses would pop like a soap bubble once drained.

Why is everyone so confident we can land the 140 Learning roll for the Other-Dimensioninator? You guys do realize we don't have any hero units with those kinds of stats, right?

Jokes aside, I think we ought to spend 5 on the key and 4 on the scrolls. We aren't allowed to trade during the auction, but word of QM on Discord is that we can trade after; we can bring up the idea of changing the book for the scrolls once we're both done with our personal projects later.
Hmm...interesting. Alright then, how about this?

-[ ] Quietly mention to Xanatos that if he happens to win the Cookbook, we might be able to come to a mutually beneficial deal later.

We won't be facing stiff competition for these items, so we can go just over minimum price and still have a good chance of winning them. Plus, we might be able to come to an agreement with Xanatos.

The key is being extremely undervalued by some of you guys. We've already seen projects be able to combo with each other for better rewards than we'd have gotten otherwise. And we know assigning certain units to tasks can influence results. The key is much more valuable than some of you say due to the evidence.

Update: Found an insanely obscure old SNES game named Maui Mallard where Donald Duck is a Detective and Ninja going against a Mojo Witch Doctor, with various stages involving pirates, zombies, ninjas, spirits, and whatnot. This may or may not be a clue. Keep you guys posted.

You've, uh, got the cookbook twice, there.

Other than that, the general feeling I get from the Discord is that we strictly are not allowed to make offers during the auction. And we have direct confirmation that after the auction is fine. I'm guessing it's a game-balancing thing.

Isn't the moratium is over already? Everyone seems more interested in scrolls so...

I'm not really all that interested in the sword it seems to just be an anti-tech sword that drains power they can be useful sure but most of our opponents are going to be magical for the time being
Assuming it's just anti-tech and not something more exotic (like anti-energy or something), it'd still probably be worth it since it's basically a hard counter to all tech heroes.

Not to mention if we did something crazy, like bring it into the world of Tron.

I honestly think it's worth bidding on (it's worth taking note that I think this is the only one that we didn't pass the higher tier of the perception check on).
Just as a note, even if you do get Marco in the near future, he's not just going to hand you the most valuable object he possesses on a silver platter, which he spent a literal lifetime obtaining, and which is currently his best means of finding Star, for you to do whatever with.

If that was not clear.
So... what you're saying is that we should undergo the trials ourselves?

Sounds like a good idea to me!

Also, wow. Xanatos now basically has an item that lets him spy on anyone, anywhere (albeit it's annoying). And that's on top of his already insane intrigue...

I vote we never double cross him.

Or at least, let anyone know of our plans to do so, if we should choose to.

Tch. So I have. Serves me right for not double checking before I post. As for not being able to make deals during the bidding...yeah, that seems fair. Alright, I think we can wait until this is over to try and make a deal with Xanatos.

Upgrading our heroes more and nabbing that key will only make things easier for us. Plus, we'll still have a sweet 17 points to spend for the final round.

Um.. OK.

Doof is 38. Von drake is 40.

Thats 78 by itself without throwing loyalty or anything into it.

Then we need a dice roll of 60 or 50 with exp.

Easily achievable. We might miss it a turn or two but its definitely something we can hit.
Huh. I see. Still want the key to improve the odds. Besides, Xanatos withdrew his bet on the thing for us. It'd be rude if we just refrained
