Any chance we could actually share some of this stuff with Xanatos and go halfways?
I mean, the scroll could just be copied and then both get it.

Scrolls of Jo-Lan
4

Sword of Enlightenment

4

Crystal Key
5

Give the sword to Technor, have Doof study the Scrolls, and use the Key for the dimension-inator.

So, worth remembering that both the Encantus and Scrolls of enlightenment will be in the next round. I'd like to grab the key, and could go for a low big for another, but I'd like to keep most points for the final round.

[] Plan: Key & Low Bids
-[] 5 on Crystal Key
-[] 4 on Scrolls of Jo-Lan
-[] 4 on Sword of Enlightenment

Might as well make an official plan for what I'm thinking. Going for minimum bid to try and get either the scroll or the sword.

If we ended up with any of the lore pieces, things containing information, I'd honestly be willing to offer photocopies if it gave us contacts...

"Here we have something interesting." Magica gestures to the several scrolls resting on the podium behind her. "For those of you in the audience who are more physically inclined, the Scrolls of Jo-Lan may hold the secrets to achieving your true potential. Learn how to control your breathing, unleash a punch that can shatter steel, or release your energy in a tremendous blast of ki!"
Isn't this the thing the main character of A.T.O.M uses? Interesting... but not that useful.
"With the Sword of Enlightenment, unlimited power can be yours to do with as you see fit!" Magica declares, before pointing the sword at Max. A beam of pink light springs from the weapon. Max yelps, but a moment later, his shorted phone turns back on. "Quite literally, depending on who you're willing to steal from."

"Now, some have reported some very minor feelings of megalomania and an overwhelming desire to conquer the world after prolonged exposure but hey, who hasn't tried to take over the world at least once?"
It seems quite suited for Technor, doesn't it? Not sure if it's worth it, though.
"Tell me, have you ever dreamed of seeing the world?" Magica begins. "How about other worlds? The multiverse is a big place, and now you can experience it. Forget the arduous worthiness tests of other interdimensional travel solutions. This Key can transport you to literally any dimension in existence. An incredible artifact, made by genuine Flupp… okay, who wrote this? There is no way they're called tha- Flux Dogs! I'm calling them Flux Dogs. It's made by Flux Dogs. The only downside… eh? Oh, upside! The upside is that once you use it, you'll never be taken back to the same place twice! Need to get away from this planet, forever? This is your ticket. Just eh, be careful. The thing is fragile."
The uses are obvious, but we do have an excellent lead on the far superior Dimensional Scissors. I'm not sure if it's worth it, really.

All right all hands on deck we got some interesting shit here

5 on the key to make sure we get it slap that baby in to the other dimensionInator andcall it a day.

8 on the Jo Lan scroll because imagine slapping that on Khan! Hell we can make this a standardized training for all of our martial heroes! It is incredibly valuable and we're going to have to put a lot of resources into it to snag it from Xanatos

So my thoughts are a bid for the scroll and the key. The scroll since it seems to be relatively unsought after and the key cause that's literally what we need to tackle Toffee.

5 for the scroll and 7 for the key?

Wailing Star

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

The next item is… screaming. Really loud.

"THE WAILING STAR-" Magica shouts over the din, "IS A NATURALLY OCCUR-" Someone finally slams a glass case over the object. "Oh thank badness. Ahem. Wailing Stars are a naturally occurring phenomenon on the… what was it, Simmering Keys?

Oh, that's definately the Boiling Isles. TOH is here, then.

It was interesting enough I guess.

I'm not really all that interested in the sword it seems to just be an anti-tech sword that drains power they can be useful sure but most of our opponents are going to be magical for the time being

Seriously, the pacific ninjutsu thing is perfect for Tobe's squad, since it's so incredibly silly. But I guess the Jo-Lan would fit them better, since they can all learn it. Also, we could let Dennis mix it into Kung Fool as well.

The power-stealing sword would be awesome for Technor, even though he'd have a hard time swordfighting while stuck to a chair.

The Crystal Key is the least interesting of the bunch? We might stumble into another method real soon, but on the other hand Xanatos kinda expects us to buy it.

Do we even know where most of these things are from, so we have a decent idea of what we're buying? For example, I volunteer Jo-Lan as being from A.T.O.M., and it allows the user to do... Pretty much everything a shounen protagonist can do, eventually. It starts at energy blasts, but at higher levels it can allow for teleportation, telekinesis, and energy shields.

. It seems like he thinks your technological flair could jury rig some proper use out of an item that for anyone else is just a one way ticket out of this universe.

So, this could be like how having a potion decreased potion DC by 5, but on the other hand, eh? It might confuse Xanatos, but c'est la vie, we have three other paths to inter-dimensional work without spending points on the key, even if Toffee is kind of out of reach for now.

Huh shaggy dog ring.

I mean it's neat but not particularly useful.

we really don't have the magical clout yet To really make use of the wailing thing
