I'm not 100% against asking for Sasori's help, but that's the argument I'd make. If it's not enough...let me know and it can be added to the plan.

Giving Sasori a bit more combat edge isn't a relevant worry, none of our plans look anything like "fight Sasori and narrowly win".
The spooky thought is that 3D sealing could help the Akatsuki open the portal even more quickly.
This matters less the faster we do A-day, but Akane already needs us to be fast.

It's a fair argument for doing the portal-seal ASAP while Noburi gets into tenketsu-dilation, then setting Sasori up as Orochimaru's new study partner while we rush the afterlife.
Unfortunately, I don't have a good sense of how much the thread is prioritizing advancing A-day.

I see a cute Ino scene, I vote for it.

In honesty, none of the plans I find compelling this cycle. I don't want to push for special jonin, I do want to get that scene profile, I'm iffy about Hidan's involvement, I really want that Ino scene, the Shino and Hinata stuff I think could wait a bit, etc. But, if I do not participate at all, then I don't really have grounds to be disappointed in the outcome, you know?

@Shrooms I will vote for your plan (Fine, I'll Do It Myself No Answer Key) conditional on you adding enlisting a Kotsuzui. They are also capable of tracking Akane via their bloodline, and if we're going so far as to suggest a partnership with Hidan I see no reason to not include them as well.

Once again A-day is idiotic. It involves multiple double crosses and doesn't even leave us in a better position since pain gets to rule as god emperor. A better plan is to actually fight Akatsuki for control of the rift or just open it secretly

I like the idea of fighting Akatsuki, but how are we to get enough combat power to fight them? We would need allies. Which ones? How many?

Yeah... Hazou's a squishy sealmaster with combat stats in the 30s. Soon he'll have decent combat stats, but "decent" isn't exactly enough when we're talking about going up against a bunch of S-rankers powerful enough to enforce peace throughout the continent through the threat of their personal power.

Even if we get Asuma, Naruto, the Toad Sages, and Cannai all willing to fight. That's not enough. We need to reach out to other villages or Oro to have a decent chance of winning.

The most important allies that we need to recruit are at least a couple Wakahisas. Once we secure them we're able to leverage them we can leverage summoning and shadow clones to the fullest advantage. Once we have that we can just dump a massive amount of jounin level summons and as many Mari SCs as she can support. We will also want additional Wakahisas in the field with us to refill Noburi so he can have both sages and Gamabunta up. After that the next major goal should be to flip memembers of Akatsuki. I don't think it would be to hard to convince Hidan that this is what Jashin wants. We might be able to convince Kakuzu to either sit out the fight or actually join up.

Obviously when the time comes we will want to keep everyone's actual body as far away as possible. Have a 5 seal barrier bunker sit up about a mile away. That way we can evac with skywalkers or to the 7th path if things break bad

The good thing is that the plan doesn't depend on Hazou fighting himself. He's mainly just going to be acting as the dog summoner and providing S-rank seals to SC combatants

Do you plan to leverage the Wakahisas with or without the Mizukage's approval? I think there is very little chance we could do this without the Mizukage approving.
 
I'm all for beating the shit out of Akatsuki when we're capable. And that goes for Orochimaru as well if we can shut down the Final Wish program and he's resistant.

This is going to be Ami's project. She's already successfully overthrew the last Mizukage and Installed a friendlier puppet regime so expect this to be well within her abilities
