While we only have a sample size of one, our experiences with Hagoromo genin have been exclusively positive thus far. I'd love to get Hyuuga and Hagoromo genin. Prejudice doesn't survive exposure.

Either they hand us excellent kids who do very well and build bonds with us and then advocate for us amongst the mainline clan or they hand us dregs who blossom and build our prestige along moderate factions. It's a win in either case.

Also, if the Church of Youth has saints, Might Gai is certainly one of them. He performed several miracles witnessed by the general public prior to his death. I'm sure that the head of the church would be happy to canonize him.

And then we can resurrect him.

i think we should learn more about earthshaping before leveling it, ideally. it's creator and history, technique hackers analyzing it, etc.
but am worried that we will never do that.
i do think if we are artificially forced to decide now whether to level it, with our current knowledge it would still be worth it, just to share with leaf's sealmasters a better replica of great seal.

a small potential benefit to going to 39 now. is if hazou gets that feeling again that he is on the cusp of fundamental new understanding of jutsu. then we might try ES 40 instead of jumping to 50

hmm, I wonder how much faster we could get through chakdar now? Minato seals are going to take months regardless, having chakdar in the meantime would be kinda nice if it'll only take a couple more research cycles with our L A R G E Sealing stat.

BTW I'll do notes XP later but if anyone wants to Calc it out now Hazou should be able to buy more Sealing this cycle.

We need chakdar if we're going to go on an adventure or be suddenly thrown into an adventure. I am itchingh for completion of a seal project anything. Let's not swicth focus and grind away on whatever we're working on.

Like, I don't mind if we switch back to chakdar if we finished the first series.

Speaking of which, do we have the research roll?

I've just been alternating with them to keep the accrued XP around the same, so this works for me.

I have no idea what Kei or Akane are supposed to train, but my understanding for Hazou is that we want to get Earthshaping 39 (315 XP) and then leapfrog our way to Earthshaping 50 (495 XP). This gets us almost all the way there, and we will require 534 XP after this training plan.

I haven't been following the thread much. Where are we with FOOM stuff? No XP investment needed/possible right now?

I was actually worried about this at the time. What, if any, incentive does the KEI have to sell anyone any adoption tickets beyond the mandatory yearly minimum, other than not wanting to collectively make all the clans angry? And how are Clans supposed to be able to sell each other tickets if they have to explain themselves to the KEI to get tickets in the first place, presumably by informing them who they want to adopt and why, meaning that they only ever have tickets to use them.

Also, @eaglejarl et al, I remember Asuma still wanted to fiddle with the fineprint. Are KEI tickets still needed for interclan marriages?
