uh...she isn't? This is the Goketsu estate
[X] Manipulate Keiko into unknowingly walk into Orochimaru's path. For now, though, Ruri had more immediate concerns. Lord Gōketsu was missing, and Lady Nara had, in desperation, asked her to do the celebratory speech. It was an honour, and would have been more of an honour if Ruri hadn't been aware that the only others qualified to speak about the action were Lady Nara herself (and she tended to avoid speeches as best she could), Hyūga Neji with his legendary eloquence and charm, the dour Hyūga Motokazu, and Minami Aika (who had not concealed her feelings towards her Hyūga teammates). Either way, a success here could go a long way towards salvaging the night, while a bad enough failure could invite a riot. Besides, there were agendas to advance.
Hey, can people stop being like this? (And it's not just Sir Stompy.) Thanks.Y'all talking mad shit about how Hazou is too important to dissect. Anybody still think that? Cuz I have some beachfront property in Arizona I'd like to sell.

@eaglejarl is offline, so no QM response available yet, but I'd like to see some kind of thread consensus on whether the hivemind wants to spend resources on this.@eaglejarl @Velorien would we be able to use a fate point to know Tsunade's whereabouts? Reasoning being we looked into it to know if it was possible to invite her to game night but decided against due to her doing x at y.
Understatement of the century
I approve. I doubt FP are going to save any of Hazou's rolls tbh@eaglejarl is offline, so no QM response available yet, but I'd like to see some kind of thread consensus on whether the hivemind wants to spend resources on this.
Provided that Orochimaru doesn't spring anything on Hazou that we need to vote on (long shot to hope for, I know), I precommit my vote for the next update to action plans that involve Necromancy.
...Yeaaah. So ignore that."Actually," she said to Orochimaru, "I've been thinking about a research topic you might find interesting. Tell me, what are your thoughts on cognitively-independent shadow clones?"
No no, you're onto something.
Personally I don't think she would mention Kei if the message was just "run like hell", she would already know Hazou would know who she was talking about.@eaglejarl @Velorien Just so I am clear, what does Hazou think Mari's intended hand-sign message was? I am conflicted between her meaning "locate Kei, you both run like hell", or "Kei is the sacrifice, run like hell".
Heroic interrupt!
Get wrecked Snake Uncle!
Hazō thinks it's "Have Kei run like hell". If Orochimaru still had an immediate interest in Hazō, he'd stay with him (or take him away) and leave Kei for dessert.@eaglejarl @Velorien Just so I am clear, what does Hazou think Mari's intended hand-sign message was? "That said," Orochimaru mused, "when I consider my original reasons for overlooking the Iron Nerve…"
