Now that I think about it, if we could get the trust of Tom and the Lucitor Kingdom (as in probably 75-100 opinion range), that artifact would be EXTREMELY useful to study. It can literally cut through anything. That's how it is able to work on souls as well.

It'd be a long-shot to even let us study it, let alone the GM letting us do anything with the information from those studies, but it would be really useful if it could be used.
Do you think it would work on Toffee? That is to say, it could cut Toffee's essence/mind/soul out of the magic realm or whatever it's called?

Secondly, the series went the whole "I was attracted to you when I first met you" route near the end so there is still an attraction.
The series went a lot of different routes near the end. Depending on the where the baby to bathwater cutoff point lies for what's canon here, they could've always loved each other, only loved each other because of the curse, or started off as friends but grown to love each other gradually.

If Janna becomes our heir she would be "Designated Heir to the Kingship of Doofania" and if we buy ownership of Drusselstein we can also be Emperor of the HRE and have her be Emperor of the HRE as well.

You know, ignoring the whole "who inherits DEI thing" .... I can actually almost see us taking over Drusselstein so we can give it to Janna as a revenge prank.

Doof knows how horrible that place is after all.

Janna Ordonia, the Holy Roman Empress and ruler of Drusselstein. It's... fitting, in an odd way

Nine months from now Doof just posts a video on Dooftube titled

Inheritance Prank Gone Right (Gone Holy) (Gone Roman) (Gone Royally)

Of course Janna is going to inherit DEI someday. That's what marrying Vanessa means.

I thought you were aiming for JannaxMax?

Although .... I'd be down with Doof Troop shipping now that it's brought up. Good thinking.

look. Vanessa doesn't really take our business that seriously, Max is going Agent M and only Janna is truly eccentric, decent, evil (the fun kind) and invested enough currently. Not really much of a conflict.

Vanessa will have to figure out who she wants to be at college. Hopefully at SFIT. After seeing Granville in her source material I think there is no one better to foster greatness with repeated, insistent pressure and curt, professional exchanges.

Vanessa is pretty alright with weirdos so I could see her being "assigned" to Karmi-socializing instead of Hiro (who might not be attending SFIT in this timeline). I could also see her double dipping like canon honey lemon was doing attending SFIT and the art institute at the same time. Just splash around, socialize with weirdos, figure herself out. Seems good

DEI won't have succession crisis because we clearly have Inheritance Law set to Designated Heir :p
I mean. It's way past 1900 so I'd hope we'd researched that by now. Drusselstein and the HRE might not have advanced but uhhh, come on. Our Doofanian culture group is almost exclusively present in Danville which is a high dev province. There's no way we're so backwards we don't have Designated Heir yet. Right?

I voice support once again for Princess CJ once she becomes sentient and laws are made so she can actually inherit. She's the only one who would honestly treat Doofania like a country and carry on its legacy in full.

Probably not. They are kinda one and the same at the moment. There's not anything to cut. You could probably cut his fake body's connection to the RoM though.

The way I figure it, there's nothing stopping Vanessa from being the owner (Doof loves his firstborn and isn't gonna just kick her aside because of her lifestyle choices), while someone else actually runs the thing.

Conversely, uh... Janna really doesn't have the aptitude for management. Sorry, but... she doesn't. She's hilarious and she's motivated but there are too many related skills I just don't think she has, when it comes to 'be CEO.'

Quiet reminder that Vanessa is not yet of age and is still technically a minor at this time.

Personally I think we just need to give Vanessa time to properly find her niche, we just need to find the thing that she actually enjoys doing.

Also might I suggest sticking her on a project with Phineas and Ferb at some point, since the show indicates that would be a good idea.

Excellent. In deference to Arch's continued desire to get some of those Juniper berries they used to make back in Riverrun or whatever, I declare this canon! 500XP.

Noncanon: SeekerQuest Opening
Congradulations on squeezing such an interesting fellow in DVV. I can assure you, it's rather difficult. I would follow this quest. 500XP.

A/N: Slightly inspired by a conversation on the discord server.

THE ADVENTURES OF AGENT UNKNOWN
I'm very tempted to call this provisional canon. Message me when you get round to hiring Fred. 500XP.

A very opportune partnership. 500XP.

Vanessa is senior in highschool as is Janna. ~depending on time period adulthood (knowing what you want to do with your life) is variable between early teens to the more modern ??never??

Vanessa has many years to develop as an adult, and even if she finds nothing that really clicks with her she'll still be competent in managing the normal-abnormal divide as a true blue Doofanian (a member of Doofania is more likely to be resilient to kookiness, craziness, and general absurd mayhem than other regions. We toe the line with multiple masquerades and eventually our population is going to become inured to it as Vanessa is).

Same for Janna. Her stats are the stats of someone that is improving themselves but is mostly just a competent young adult. We don't really have much grounds to complain about crippled stats in an heir when, you know, we started as Doof.

Our Martial is up at 20 now, our Diplo is recovering from being "ah jeez" and our Intrigue continues to improve. Altogether though, we're not really a major "King" statwise we're just King of a smaller pond. Khan is the most superior statline man for Kingship, Mirage as his second in command, he is the most "realistic" successor to choose while the young adults continue to mature.

Janna was a senior in high school at this time last year. She might've still been one this year if she was serious about skipping school more often than she attended it, but she dropped out to focus on her career as a professional tomb raiding sorceress so school no longer has any power over her.

Not really. In terms of how CEO skills are usually picked and successors are decided (which is what you would mean by realistic), the most realistic successor would actually be Wile E. Coyote. He is a valued member of our team who is involved in many things behind the scenes, is known to be intelligent and can continue the science and financial portion of leading DEI, is kooky enough to stay on DEI branding of evil, is a Toon and could easily continue its pro-Toon policies, and is a former CEO of a major subsidiary of DEI. Those are all traits that in most companies would have him as a #1 consideration for succeeding a retiring CEO.

Khan is a non-entity in terms of how CEOs are "realistically" picked.

Do remember that stats are representations. The people in the world of Doofquest don't see stats.

Speaking of Coyote and Science, I want to have Ludivine tutor him. Eventually anyways...

Coyote is one of our best quest leaders and more importantly it would be delightful to read the interactions between him and the Professor. Now, he's still behind in tutoring priority compared to Doof, LOVEMUFFIN, Russ, and Khan, but still.

It's already confirmed that, barring a super amazing roll, Ludivine would have nothing to teach Doof because they are pretty much on the same level.
