I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

i think we should go for us becoming the king of Kraka Drakk as this will the main hold of the Norse Dwarfs when we get cut of from the rest of The Karaz Ankor, thus making us high king of the Norse Dwarfs. This will allow us to shape own unique version of the Norse Dwarfs culture

Considering our age and our social position as a Master Runesmith we're going to be shaping the culture of the Hold one way or another and by extension the rest of whatever other settlements pop up in the vicinity afterwards.

Honestly how unheard would it actually be for us to defer leadership to the Thanes despite the difference in age/status etc? I mean they are the ones that have actual experiance/training for leading an army here.

We should leave command to someone with experience, but let's make up for the slight loss of face by being at the front of the charge so none can doubt our courage.
