On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

I have a theory.

Lorna is described as a bookish researcher in the Rhunkalbrogg, with a bent towards understanding runes and their limits. I was trying to think what might impress her, and the thought occured: she'd be pretty darn impressed if a journeyman of ours invented a new rune for their masterpiece, wouldn't she?
I think you're setting your sights a bit too high, my guess is that, similar to how we made Jorri an arm, we made her a set of prosthetic arms that she can wear to write with while doing other things. :V:V:V

Besides I still think the most interesting question is why didn't our griffon favour appear to change after creating Stormwrath.

Been poking things again and I've come around to the conclusion that Lightning, Amplification, and Force is a silly combo that won't really lead to Master Rune of Thunderbolts and that's because Amplification is about amplifying sound that already exists. However, neither of the runes present here are really about sound and after thinking about it a Thunderbolt contains a couple of things.

The lightning itself, the bolt searing itself into your vision that arcs from cloud to ground. The sound of the thunderclap, which I tried to make using Amplification, which follows the bolt. And the force of its strike if one is too close, the deafening sound and force that can blow you over.

So Lightning, Sound, Force.

This does lead me to a question though for @soulcake. We can trade for Master Runes of course, and find them by accident/divine inspiration as with the Master Rune of Purification, but what option do we need to do if we want to seek out a Master Rune intentionally? My current thought is have a combo of simple runes that lead to the Master Rune and then get an Epiphany related to that Combo, but I'm wondering if that's the only intended path.

Much hope she becomes the best of the best.

In fact while most people hope Snorri survives, I hope Snerra does more.

If she survives knowledge, skill and most importantly attitude intact she could do a whole heaping of good.

I was planning on commissioning Renu again, @soulcake if you like you can have the thread vote on the next picture via a poll :^D

(AN: Yes, Chillwind is a Dark Magic spell, but it's the only ice-based spell in TWW I know of worth spittle. Roll with it.)

AN: While he'd run the Dawi faction, on the grounds of "I'm old and a well known ally", the bloke doesn't QUITE fit this. But hey, you have Eltharion able to wander outside Tor Yvresse and Louen Leoncour can go out and slap people's shit in person instead of running stuff back in Brettonia. And this was fun to make when I've got a godawful migraine.

As usual, I take suggestions and comments. General theme I aimed for was threefold. 1, he's got ALL THE MAGIC without Winds burning for AoE splooshes. 2, he's a massively mean predator who you don't run from. 3, he says who rules the skies and it ain't you.

Probably won't be any scenes like that from me (that'll get expensive real fast, I don't have the capitol for it), but if you guys got a fan favorite character like Yorri or Jorri you'd like to see let me know.

I kinda dont want Yorri, because I think that the moment Yorri gets a face, he'd be all that much likely to get killed off in some heroic last stand or something.
