[jk] Hand @Onmur Kinematic's award for vote surprassing page length.

e: More seriously, I think the Kato problem is greater than UG problem, since Akiko was unwilling to not attack Ishinomaki.

Well, we aren't negotiating with Akiko right now because it's not time sensitive, while stopping people from dying is. Akiko being crazy is, well, true, but it's not really the reason why we are putting this off till later. I think it's mentioned in the vote.
Chouko kind of already brought up the issue by asking. Any vote should include an answer to that question somewhere at the top.
Either say that you want to rescue civilians first or that Akiko isn't in any state of mind to deal with that right now, or tell her to wait for Rin, before doing something else.

As do I. His vote is less awkwardly smashed together than the other votes. It does have the issue that it doesn't ask Rin for her opinion, and it also leaves the bodies on a rooftop instead of carting it around with us in a grief box, which, incidentally, we can totally do, but I'm okay with voting for him otherwise.

Actually I rather like @Onmur 's vote.

...well except that last line which I didn't notice before.
Any recommendations? I can take it out, but we might need some ammunition to get Sakura talking.

If we're helping search & rescue, we'll have to explain the box to the civilians. Or not, I guess.

We don't. Not really. We're under no obligations to answer questions, and I'd think that they would have other issues on their minds.
We're asking Rin to help people from dying. How else can we phrase that?

I'm unconvinced about the box, but I do see the point. We might as well remake the grief oppression fortress for transport.

It's better than the alternatives, and negotiations are, in retrospect, probably less time-sensitive than civilians. I was wrong there.

Strongly dislike the guilt trip for Rin, the Rin social part, and we probably want to ask Sakura and Rin which other Sendai members are likely to be reasonable...but it's definitely workable.

Don't be so ready to vote for it if you think it can be done better. There's still time, frankenvotes happen.

[X] Akiko isn't going anywhere, but there are people who will be dying soon if we leave them be.
[x] Hey Rin, are you okay? You didn't sound too good. Is there anything you want to do now? We're going to try and help anyone who's injured. If you're okay, could you please help us?
- [x] Don't push the issue if she seems reluctant.

[X] Ask Mami if she can do something about the rain.
[X] Warn everybody and cleanse all gems.
[X] Ask of everybody that we prioritize and heal only critical injuries for now. Don't bother trying to rescue everyone, just focus on the cirtical cases and clear the path for EMS to do the rest.
-[X] Ask Ueda if she could help out. Reassure her that in the case we need to detain Sakura for long, we can personally bring her back home in a matter of minutes. (Telepathy Mami to ask if she thinks we can get her there that quickly, first. Reminder her of our trip between Ishinomaki and Sendai if she needs it.)
-[X] Place the disconnected bodies in a grief box, and bring it along.
-[X] Remember to pick up the rest of the disconnected MGs.
-[X] After this point, as soon as Rin arrives, get going. If Rin can't come over herself but told her where we can pick her up, get going also. Pick up Rin.
[X] Try and talk with Sakura about Akiko's issues. After all this, we'll require their group to make amendments to the UG, but despite everything we still want to help them as long as they stop their extortion racket and other such business.
-[X] 'Amendments' does not mean every single grief seed they've ill-gotten. We want to create peace, not resentment. If necessary, remind the UG that they don't really need the seeds anymore.

Changes are in bold. Feel free to add on, if necessary.

No point, really, and it's preferable to the alternatives.

The big issues I have are that it comes over as trying to guilt Rin in line 4, we don't show concern for Rin (ie: ask if she's alright like in some of the other votes) and we could ask Sakura about things such as the rest of Sendai's willingness to bargain/act as speaker.

Your secondhand copypaste cut off most of the first line.

Accidentaly a few words here and there.

I'll edit it a bit, since people don't like that last line and want to be nicer to rin.

What's your opinion on meguca box/mobile oppression fortress/leave them on the roof?

-[X] If Sakura is reluctant to talk about Akiko, let her know that by what we've seen, Akiko really needs help, which she hasn't gotten from her friends, and that if they don't cooperate, the only thing we can do with Akiko is to put her under arrest and under watch 24/7, so as to not resort to any more ruthless measures.
Maybe stress the point that Akiko needs help, before we bring up what we'll have to do to her, if we can't bring her to see reason.

We could also bring up that Ishinomaki told us that they didn't kill Kato and go from there.
Asking what exactly happened and where they got the info from. If the answer is Kyubey that will explain quite alot.

Needless headaches for options 1 and 2, but 3 runs into the Sakura problem.

Kyubey will mindwipe them all anyway.

I'm not quite sure why we're doing this? Why not just leave them and come back? They're not going anywhere.
...because we'd be leaving seemingly dead corpses where anyone can stumble upon them? And if we leave a Meguca to guard the corpses, that'd be one less person helping out with the search and rescue.

Sakura problem? We've got her gem and I assume she's coming with us for S&R.

We can leave them on a roof and ask Haru to cover them with plants. It's likely dark outside by now, so nobody should spot them.

...On the roof top near the radio tower. Meanwhile the rest of the city is in crisis mode. They're not in a position to be found. That's... yeah that's not going to happen.

Also, if the meguca's powers aren't really geared towards rescue efforts, then they aren't going to be much help here anyway.

Grief box needs to go.

Explain to me what exactly is the downside to bringing them along in the grief box again? Because I'm really not seeing any.

Incidentally, the downside to leaving them on the roof of the radio tower is "having to leave someone to guard them." And, seriously, even if their powers aren't geared for it, they are still superstrong and faster than regular humans. They'll still help tremendously with the S&R.

I also suggested that we ask Invisibility girl to guard them. Unless we put her on first aid duty, her power's not going to be of much help on the search and rescue, nor in restraining Sakura.

The Grief box is silly and does nothing. The bodies aren't going to get up and walk away, and they're not going to be found in such a short time frame.
