Er, I'm pretty sure she can't do that without directly touching her soul gem, which she won't be able to do if we cover her entire gem with a layer of grief. And even if she can, she defintely can't teleport if we shred the hand she is using to hold it. It's not foolproof, but we don't really have THAT many ways to shut her down, and she needs to be subdued somehow before we can corner Akiko.

No, disabling Sakura takes proirity. Akiko's dangerous, but on her own, she can neither outrun nor outfight us. Sakura, however, enables her to call in reinforcements and allows her to flee very easily. If we have to choose between taking out either one of them, go for sakura.

You know what would be really awful?
If the three Fukushima girls didn't know about the lich bomb. Was it ever directly comfirmed that they do?
I mean everybody just thought that they have to know about it, since they are good at fighting and veterans and all.
But if they didn't know about it, metal girl currently thinks that we killed two Sendai girls and her two friends, which is terrible.
It would also explain why Sasami reacted so strongly to us taking out Moe and her desperation when we grabbed her gem, while the Sendai girls didn't react as strongly to us taking out Tamiko.
 
Also, regardless of if we manage to successfully capture Akiko or not, can we make it a point to gather the bodies of all the megucas we disabled before we leave the city? Preferably before the night is out? We really don't want to have to have those bodies end up in the Morgue, or worse.

I thought what happened was they got picky about what our shields were made out of, but I fell behind and skimmed a few updates so I might have missed something.

I remember on one possible storypath in the videogame you can end up with a sayaka who was disconnected from her body for days, and ends up actually a zombie. Now Rin can maybe fix stuff like that, but it may be better if it never gets there in the first place.

Meh, I'm just worried about a possible situation where Akiko slipped our grasp and we end up taking off in hot pursuit, completely forgetting about the corpses of the girls we littered all across the city until they start making the news. And then we go "Oh shit, I knew we forgot something." and end up having to plan out some kind of stealth operation to spirit their bodies away from the morgue before they end up as ashes.

We should be gathering them and having Rin heal them up after the fighting's over.

Now watch as Sakura teleported Rin to some other city and left her there for safety...

Bad luck aside, we kind of need to heal them up if we're going to talk to them, which we should. We just need to figure out the correct order in which to wake them up. We don't want to start with, say, Moe, since she could escape and steal all the gems while she's at it. Also, if Akiko and Sakura get happen to get disconnected from their gems, I'd rather talk with the Fukushima girls first, make our offer, let them go I guess, then deal with Akiko.

Well, while we're dealing with Akiko and Sakura, we could tell UG to pick up their bodies after they're done with Kuviraaaaaah-fuck.

...Did we tell the UG to go non-lethal? :confused:

Yeah, if we managed to wrap things up here then it's going to be a given that we are going to get their bodies and wake them up for a chat, but I'm just worried that it will slip our minds if we end up having to go chase down Akiko because we bungled the stealth op for whatever reason.

I'd be very, very surprised if they have the stomach to aim for the Soul gems. They blanched at a broken neck, remember?

Why exactly would we need a stealth operation? Just kick in the doors and take them. Its kyubeys problem to fix it afterwards. I mean seriously, whats already happening in the city blows any morgue break in out of the water.

Kyubey's priority is to ensure the secrecy of *magic* from the muggles.

If he just wiped the memory of magic being cast, but not of our actual break-in. Or that he 'forgot' to erase the CCTV footage of us carrying dead bodies, since no magic was involved... well.

If hes that pendantic about only erasing actual magic, we should arrange for us to be seen with them alive afterwards, on a camera or something.
Mystery Girl breaks into morgue, steals bunch of corpses, is later seen with them alive. Exactly what our reputation needs^^.
 
It should be easy to wake the opponents one at a time. I actually highly recommend against Akiko first. Out of Sendai, I'd want to ask questions of Minami, because she's apparently more reasonable, or Tamiko, because if she really is mute then an all telepathy conversation is safer.

Fukushima first to defuse any problems on their end sounds reasonable. Might do Atsuko first in that case?

Also recommend against more than one girl awake at once, to make sure they have no one to telepath to.

Anything we do after is prefaced by how we maim and essentially hold a knife to their neck while speaking - with presumably dictating what the should do for peace being significant part of speaking.

Now, I don't see that big of a problem with girls being awake, but what do you have in mind to not appear as overlord tyrant?
