Rather than taking any of these extreme options or outright lying about softball practice, why not just leave a message saying "one of my friends had a traumatic burglary last night and I wanted to be there for her." Maybe add a "She'd do the same for me." It's not QUITE true, but those are the best lies.

As for Yuuri, I want to lead with "Gooooood morning, Anri Airi!"

I was the one who made the point, so clarifying what I meant when people take what I said and apply it to a different argument is in no way disingenuous.

Yes, and at this point, I am also going to agree with him and state you have alternate intentions than what you've claimed.

Giving information we don't want spread to irrational antagonists is incredibly obviously detrimental to our goals. Your argument that "not doing so doesn't make things better" is, while potentially correct in the strictest sense (in that, while not spreading that information doesn't improve things, spreading it makes things worse), very much either foolish or outright malicious trolling to incite anger.

    I've stated my reasoning, that if Airi hasn't been witchbombed then she has been lied to and that witchbombing her would help her see through the lie.

    To clarify, if she didn't see her friend witch out and the Pleiades kill her, then she believes the Pleiades just murdered a magical girl who did nothing but help others.

    Telling her the truth is better than her believing that!

    And regardless of whether she does know or not, if we want her to stop her aggression, calm down, and maybe even join the team - we will need to address her friends fate and give her hope for a better fate for her friend! Even if it's just as a clear seed no one uses for now.

    Because we should at least try to save her too, even if we fail. She's a victim of Kyuubey too.

    here's a suggestion Don't. Take a three-day threadban and 25 points for rule 2, come the hell on.

    This goes for everyone else; we will not tolerate this kind of /pol/ tier garbage, especially after someone just got done being hit for the same thing, and especially not when instead of removing the term they just make a passive-aggressive note under it because they're a 'smartass'.

    Even if the "softball practice" excuse wouldn't work, there should be some mundane excuse she could use to explain why she left early. Sayaka's parents didn't have any problem with her taking off all evening when she was accompanying Mami on witch hunts, so they're not exactly watching her very closely.

    Rules violations happen in here all the time. People habitually throw around insults and personal attacks. It's just rare for a mod to actually take notice and do something about it. Frankly, I'd like to see mods show up here more often. It does wonders for keeping things civil.

    Therefore, I'm not interested in talk like this. If you see it, report it instead of sitting around ho-humming and then later claiming that the thread is full of rules violations all the time and the mods just don't do anything about it.
