[X] Give Oriko a heartfelt apology regarding your tone before the interruption.
[X] Tell her about your theory that her depression and precognition are feeding back on one another, and that she's lost her magic because she rejected her wish by seeking out death, rather than life. Be empathetic.
[X] Be unconsciously affectionate toward Mami the entire time.

Consideration to add Homu as an exception to the Privacy Field? Simply because it must be hard on her not being able to watch... while she's supposed to be watching over us, over out safety.

It's generally the kind of thing I want to have come across. That we care about Oriko. We want to be gentle with her. That we're trying to help her. That we believe in her and that's why we consider her dying to be a loss. And that it isn't a necessary one, because of the precog spiral thing.

I think Sabrina herself is not really suitable to helping Oriko directly. Rather the best way to get through to Oriko is through Kirika. And Kirika would like some time outside with her Ojou.

Erm yeah I agree with the idea but considering our admitted habit of being extremely pushy does anyone else think we seem sort of manipulative? Not really in this situation but our habit of being "understanding" rings kinda hollow when that side always seems to show when we want something. Yeah people can change their minds but sometimes it just seems like we flop between empty assurances and can come accross as kind of fake...

I've been trying to say we understand for ages. Because I do. There's a reason I'm the thread Oriko.

If we're gonna do this shit, let's do it right.

Vote is an action plan rather than micromanaged, as Firn has requested we use action plans more.

Godwinson I'm going to modify this a bit, but not terribly much. I think the action plan thing is directed at me *rubs back of neck* yeah that's definitely my fault.

-[X] At any point where you feel you might offend her by saying something, warn her beforehand that it might offend her, but say it anyways.
-[X] Be explicit about it being a theory, not an established fact.
--[X] After it's been laid out, ask about any supporting evidence O&K can think of. Particularly try to see if earlier visions might have been "less negative" than later ones.

I'm not gonna modify my vote, because it's a statement of intent. Adding conditionals and crap like that is how you get micromanaged bullshit, because everyone wants to add some randomly little clarification until eventually it's a page of cruft.

That's completely reasonable. But I am going to vote for this, because I have established what I'd like to see, and because I feel your vote is a better structure than I could possibly come up with. Because I feel that with those additions I convey essentially exactly what I spent half a day hashing out.

I'd also ask you to note that exactly one of those three lines is a conditional.

Eh... I'm not terribly sanguine about Godwinson's approach. It seems like just another emotional appeal, and Oriko responds to those by hiding behind her "I am fated to die" and "it's for the good of the world" excuses. I don't think that anything that we say can really get through to her until we've disproved those excuses.

Could you at least add a line saying that we'll provide evidence to support the idea? Right now, all we're doing is dropping it on her apropos of nothing in between bouts of cuddling Mami. (Which doesn't exactly give the impression that we're taking Oriko's situation seriously.)

Don't ask transcripts from Firn. Get the report Secretary Yuma.

You know how impartial she is.
This plan, however, I approve of wholeheartedly. :D
