timestop us;

Why is Kirika being all smug?
"I..." Mami says, fingers tightening on yours to almost crushing strength. "I'm not- I'm not strong enough. I- w-we can stay? And talk to Miss Mikuni? If that's alright?"
Homura's already striding out in a swish of lustrous black hair, Mami's hands still clasped around yours.
I don't believe we've let go yet.

Really, Kirika reads far too much into these things. They're just normal Sisterly activities!

This is going to snowball out of control with Kirika and Sabrina trying to one up each other in cuddling their ojou's while trying to remain nonchalant about it.

And I am surprisingly ok with this.

[] Precog-spiral Oriko. Point out the holes in her logic.
-[] While hugging Mami.

If we're gonna do this shit, let's do it right.

[X] Give Oriko a heartfelt apology regarding your tone before the interruption.
[X] Tell her about your theory that her depression and precognition are feeding back on one another, and that she's lost her magic because she rejected her wish by seeking out death, rather than life. Be empathetic.
[X] Be unconsciously affectionate toward Mami the entire time.

Vote is an action plan rather than micromanaged, as Firn has requested we use action plans more.

[X] Godwinson

I find it easier to understand an action plan compared to, well...

You sure we should continue being all emotional? Maybe countering Oriko's possible logical fallacies instead of keeping on passionate cheerleading can work?

...do we have examples of successfull arguments with Oriko?

I think that Sabrina herself will have problems with pure Logos, and when talking about depression, it's remarkably easy to come across as blaming the person for being fucked up.

Oriko isn't going on pure logic either. She's not a Vulcan. Establishing an emotional connection would help when we make our case.

Well, maybe, but I am not sure that empatheticness won't come across as trying to guilt trip Oriko into something. Being detached and going "you are who you are, I am not judging, period" may be better approach.

I don't think it will be something Sabrina will be good at, and I don't think it's something that would help with Oriko.

What's more, we really need to make it clear to Oriko that the only reason we were upset is because we care. Acting like we don't, after the way we were just acting? Very bad idea.

People being all emotional and caring in such a way places certain not always welcome expectations though. Though we already did it, so in for a penny and all that.
I am not sure how best to proceed, so I will refrain from voting for now.

"So you see Oriko..." continued Sabrina while pushing down on Mami's shoulder, drawing a small moan of pleasure from the blonde.

"A little to the left," she instructed.

"Sure, Mami!" Sabrina's hands slid around her friend's neck, carefully adding pressure wherever she could find a 'knot' of tense muscle. Turning back to Oriko, "Your faith in your powers in unfounded," she continued as if she had not been interrupted.

The Seer gave a small laugh, though a little forced. "You simply have not see what I've seen, Sabrina. If only you had-" she daintily opened her mouth to let Kirika deposit a cherry on it. After taking a few seconds to savour the treat, she continued, "If you had seen what I've seen, you would understand I can't take the chance that my visions might fail me."

"You know how that sounds, don't you?" retorted the white haired girl while fanning her Ojou, who was now sitting on a throne.

"Be that as it may-" Oriko paused, sighing with her eyes closed as her girlfriend's fingers scraped themselves throughout her scalp, "my life is a small price to pay for the sake of the World."

"It's not a price you have to pay-" Sabrina paused to blow slightly over a steaming cup, before carefully setting it to Mami's lips, the blonde taking a sip, "and you know that, you've even admitted-"

"I was merely entertaining your thought process," the ashen haired girl dismissed her opponent's claim out of hand, giving her a snide look from where she was lying face down on an extremely comfortable looking long couch. Her next words were interrupted by small moans of pleasure as Kirika's bare feet pressed down on her back, the black magical girl standing over her Ojou. "As I have repeated many- OK this is silly. Kirika, off."

Kirika pouted, her little fang poking over her lip, but didn't protest any further, stepping down so Oriko could sit back up. Kirika immediately was curled up at her side.

"You too, Sabrina," concurred Mami.

Sabrina immediately put down the hair brush she was about to take to Mami's hair, her shoulders dropping. The blonde daintly put a hand on her shoulder, drawing her into a half hug.

Properly chastised, both Sabrina and Kirika refrained themselves to only hugging their Ojous for the rest of the night.

Outside, Homura risked peeking through her fingers for the tenth time.

On seeing that everyone was back to normal, she sighed, dropped her hand from her face, and resumed watching the scene through her scope.

The things she had to put up with. Seriously.

Oh thank god, it's small.
