We can give Sayaka a single fucking evening of personal space. if we don't ping her during the Koko-talk we should touch base before she goes to bed. Is that a good compromise?
Sure, but she's not alone now. She's with Yuma. And when Sayaka demands time to think and runs off alone she does stupid shit.
And Sakura Kyouko is there too.
I'm just in a cynical mood, sorry. Anyhow, soon and direct make good olive branches for a person we've largely neglected lately. Hell, our neglect is what made her contract. It was to "give her space" that time, too. We didn't want to get involved. Sadly, I feel like Sabrina's greatest flaw is also a necessary one- being a nosy meddler is how she gets shit done in a group of people who hide away their vulnerabilities and don't ask for help when they need it. People like Madoka, Homura, Mami, Sayaka, and Kyoko will all brush you away even when they need help the most, because they're depressed teenagers with superpowers. Being meddlesome is kind of a good thing with them. You sound like Ugo, only he and I already talked about this exact thing and he was much less gloom-and-mud.
This time she asked for it, though.
And all of our friends will ask for us to not try to help them in one situation or another. Like I said, meddling gets shit done. Hell, we're meddling right now, we just suddenly decided not to. Like, Oriko would like us to drop this conversation, but we're not. Cus it needs to happen. Why is Sayaka different?
A sudden flashback flashes in Madoka's eyes.Well if you wanna learn how to befriend them like the best why not do it from the best.
Use grief to make a portal to Nanoha verse.
Aquire tutelage/friendship/pesudoaiwithmassdestructivetendencies.
Befriend everything and let Godoka sort them out.
Reminder we still haven't tried to mod our Warhammer into Graf Eisen. We could even be coy and call it Grief Eisen.
Localized Sub-Sapient Artifical Biopathic Social Network Drones.See, Higure, you have to have pzazz when you push these things. Don't call it Familiar Science. Call it... Synergistic Multilocational Social Science.
That seems a stretch to me. We only need to prove that her visions are preventable. Which they are. Because we've already prevented visions of hers from coming true, several times. Which is something that I would expect us to remind her of if we were to actually discuss this with her.If we want to make some real progress with Oriko, we need to do something that her visions have shown her to be impossible.
For example?Because we've already prevented visions of hers from coming true, several times.
We definitely give her headaches some times, when we take decisions outside the obvious, our future becomes more nebulous, harder to predict, but those futures are still kind of there. When she sent us to introduce ourself to the Sendai girls, we didn't do what she thought we would. It may not be the most satisfying form of prevention, but it still shows that she shouldn't be fully trusting it.
And by going by that, in order to change Oriko's mind we first got to change Homura's. Fun.We definitely give her headaches some times, when we take decisions outside the obvious, our future becomes more nebulous, harder to predict, but those futures are still kind of there.
The thing with Sabrina+Homura and 'Feathers' is that they outright change fate as far as Oriko's powers are concerned. It's why Oriko said she wanted Sabrina and Homura working together.
And by going by that, in order to change Oriko's mind we first got to change Homura's. Fun.
Any time that Oriko told us about a vision she'd had and we changed the outcome, we prevented that vision from coming to pass.
Oriko's powers show her many possible futures.Any time that Oriko told us about a vision she'd had and we changed the outcome, we prevented that vision from coming to pass.
And:"It's like being in a glass room," Oriko murmurs, eyes distant and staring at the ceiling above. "I can see. Sometimes, someone breaks a pane of glass-" another look at you, "-but that gets replaced. Sometimes, a blizzard of black feathers blocks sight out and then rearranges the scenery. Now... the walls are closing in." She sighs, refocusing on you. "Describing powers is hard, and metaphor is imprecise."
-So we mess up the details in Oriko's visions, but she still can predict us, sometimes perfectly enough to blow us up with a bomb and a note."I see you perfectly fine," Oriko counters. "It's merely that every time you act, changes ripple outwards. The shape of the future remains, but details differ."
She's saying the whole thing was literally impossible. She blows out a hard breath. "This shouldn't have happened," she says without further preamble. A pained frown creases her forehead, and she rubs at it as she speaks. "The Witch you asked about shouldn't have reached Mitakihara so soon."
"Go on?" you say. Mami shuffles up beside you, and takes your hand in hers. Her fingers are cold against yours.
"It shouldn't have happened," she says, a strained note in her voice. "It can't have happened. Miki Sayaka should be at home right now."
"Those were..." Oriko pauses, searching for the words. "Like a sledgehammer to the head." She gives you a meaningful look. "Or simple cessation, in the case of the feathers. This is... everything squeezing."

[◥▶◀◤] "Kick logic to the curb and do the impossible! That's the way Team Dai-Gurren rolls!"
That's just it: I agree. And our approach, up until now, has been to appeal to her emotions. We've tried inspiring speeches and telling her how her death will affect someone who loves her. And appealing to her emotions has never worked. She has always hidden behind her excuses: "my death is inevitable" and "my death will benefit the world."
Take away those excuses. She tries to pretend that her decision to die is logical, and thus trumps any choice driven my emotion. Only by showing her the flaw in her logic can you make her listen to anything that you have to say. Otherwise it's just more shounen-esque appeals to emotion, and she'll ignore those the same way she always has: by hiding behind her excuses.
-Feathers blocks Oriko's visions and changes things as they please. (And if Feathers gets to O&K, O&K die - this I remember).
Weather it's an appeal to emotion or an appeal to logic, it's irrelevant. The last vote was an appeal to logic which got shot down. You could make the most logical argument to Oriko ever and she'd ignore it. The message is getting lost because right now she's rejecting the messenger. We pushed too hard and thus she dug in and entrenched herself.
And all of our friends will ask for us to not try to help them in one situation or another. Like I said, meddling gets shit done. Hell, we're meddling right now, we just suddenly decided not to. well to be perfectly honest if we wish to avoid Homucifer we are also going to have to avoid letting anyone find out about the possibility of godokaWhich, uh, it is, let's not tell anybody or anything about Homucifer like ever.

Doubtful, witches are not a thing in any post rebellion state because of Madoka final timeline wish,
Madoka somehow ascended past being a magical girl and this ascension did not end in her being a witch (course she basically is a witch but well stuff).
Well you are most certainly.....
hmmm, we know but I think I may have missed it but are the 'feathers' we seen what color are they? The fact that feathers already exist (we HAVE one!) could mean any number of things.
Neither Godoka or Homucifer are omnipotent or omnipresent or all-knowing.Breaking the loops might bring our loop into conflict with Homucifer's future existence, and for an omnipotent being "future existence" may well also qualify as normal existence under such circumstances.
We are literally working towards what she would want, a world were madoka can live a happy life (with Homura in it to although that might not be needed), for such a thing Homura would be willing to cease to exist to bring about such a thing, so unless if we royally f*ck up we are not fighting her...... that being said we could be fighting Godoka hmmmmm, no their are witches she isn't in existence yet.We could literally be in the process of fighting Homucifer at this very moment
There are ways to tell, weather or not we can confirm is another story.
