You sure about that?

If you are I'd love to hear some reasoning for it. I'm not perfectly familiar with the setting.

Also, for the record, I'm suggesting shoving at Kyoko after talking to her. A kind of "call this number to talk to a badly-off meguca".
Thing is...Kyoko is bad at talking to people.

Really, really, really bad.

And is cocky. And smug. Two things that'll make her and Sasa the social equivalent of smoking near the Hindenberg.

She's also dirt poor, obviously not doing perfectly well, and frankly, I think her "nothing is perfect" attitude would play nicely. Sasa's issue is with people who are "better than her", right? Wouldn't the ideal complement be somebody who is self confident, ethical, competent... And obviously not better than her?

Self confidence means she thinks she is better than Sasa and so should be made to lick Sasa's shoes.
Sasa can likely spin almost anything to feel sorry for herself and hatred for others.

That's not a bad idea, but alas we don't have a reindeer costume for Homura, which is obviously a deal-breaker. :(
That's where delegation comes in. We entrust Madoka with the important job of finding the absolute cutest raindeer costume for Homura. She's got that bedroom full of stuffed animals, so she knows a thing or two about fluffy and adorable.
IMO, Sabrina actually comes off a pretty cool superficially. It's only until you spend a sufficient time around her (with her getting mesmerized by hairflips, imagining what microwaved tea tastes like, contemplating firing her gold bars out of cannons, and making up anime nicknames for people attacking her with complete seriousness) that you realize what weirdo goofball she is.

For better and worse, a lot about Sabrina really kind of stands out. From her appearance to her personality.
Hm. We need someone to bounce off of, then. Bestbuddy would be ideal, assuming Homura would let her out of the house. Not only does she bring out our silly side, she's brain-damaged herself and wears a chuuni eyepatch. Nothing to trigger Sasa's inferiority complex.

Sasa: Kirika is so much cooler than me...

@Ugolino I agree with people going against your logic of "Mami is tough, she can take grief spiral due to Sabrina's Kyubei - like callousness. Lets coddle the little turd right in front of her because breaking promises is the shit!".

Here are my arguments against that:
-Homu will see Sabrina casually break promise to Mami, about whom she declares to care. For a little shit. I wonder HOW Homura will take such revelation, huh? Wouldn't it put new light on all Sabrina's interactions with och-so-lonely-and-useful Time-Stopper?
-It might break camel's back with Mami. She nearly went into grief spiral over Kyubei. Latched on Sabrina for support. Puts on strong front so Sabrina worries less. How could Mami react to Sabrina breaking promise? She may tough it out ... or reach the breaking point and die of sorrow. Either way Sabrina loses Mami's trust and support for a slim chance to help someone who'll spit her in the face.
They are in relationship, Mami and Sabrina, dude. Mami is a needy girl who is borderline yandere, but forces herself to be nice. They even slept together and Mami's huggin' is nearly proof of her being such!
What? Voices in my head tell me it's the truth!
-In Japan being a person of one's word is kinda important part of local culture. You lose credibility doin such stuff like not acting on your words. Wich is kinda important for Sabrina's long term goals.
-Albertine-to-be is in more immediate need of saving than the little shit.

In conclusion, returning to Mami and giving her a hug before she returns to her lessons is more important than little shit who is having a bad day. Returning to hug Mami will also show Homura that Sabrina is brain-damaged but have her priorities straight, confirming that Homura's trust in Sabrina isn't misplaced. Homu might contemplate hugging Madoka, wich is good for both girls and especially our super-useful Time Stopper.
Booking the little shit for later counselling is the sensible and responsible thing to do. Because she isn't important, Mami and Homu are.

OK, now I've actually caught up with the thread.
Also, @Firnagzen , point of order - before the timestop was initiated, how much time was left before the end of lunch?
About ten minutes.
Sorry, we've got enough ranting like crazy people going on in the thread, we don't need to do it in the quest.
Godwinson, the sniping doesn't help.
Your motivation for it is something I consider utterly wrong.

And <30 minutes doesn't matter. What does is that it's throwing Sasa under the bus for Mamihugs.

Wrong. It's to be fussed when we KNOW people are in danger and we can help them.
Stop strawmanning. You're on warning as it is - it's gonna be a month this time.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled unnecessarily heated argument program to bring you this very important broadcast: Things what I've been doing instead of finishing a badly overdue update for my own quest in my copious free time.

I love it. Are those full 3D models?
Well, if nothing else, Firns stated several times that Sabrina's features are rather striking and exotic from the Japanese point of view.
Yep. She's caucasian.

I love it. Are those full 3D models?

Yep! Low-poly models (by modern standards, at least) with the shading and most details painted on via texture, comparable to e.g. models you'd find in a Nintendo 3DS game, rigged for skeletal animation using Blender's Rigify to get quick and easy IK and other niceties.

[X] Give your longcoat to Homura. Your magical outfit is pretty much normal clothes without it.
-[x] Take Sasa into timestop. Be patient and wait for her to calm down.
-[x] Explain that she is a potential, that she can become a magical girl, and might be soon contacted by an alien entity who'll offer her the chance.
-[x] She just needs to let it mutilate her Soul.
-[x] Show her your Soul Gem, explain what has been done to you and every other magical girl.
-[x] If that's not enough to keep her from contracting, explain that your soul now naturally becomes corrupted, and if it corrupts absolutely, you'll be condemned to a future of endless suffering.
[x]Go back to Mami in timestop. Tell her about what happened- broad strokes, leaving out the metaknowledge for now, that you think Sasa's a potential who's likely to contract and that you should probably talk to her. You...might have to miss lunch. Apologize.

[X] Be ambivalent Sabrina: Well, it was a longshot... I mean, it's good she's not contracted, but it'd make things easier if she was the cause of the Sayaka Maria thing.
-[X] Let Homura know you're likely gonna spend some time in the future trying to talk some sense into Sasa. Try to keep her uncontracted. Probably right after you greet everybody goodbye after lunch actually ends. We'll let her know.
[X] How about checking on that Kuroki girl? We can keep on our search pattern.
-[X] Oh, while we're at it, meguca of interest: Could Homura name powerful meguca she knows that'd be good to have on board against Walpurgisnacht? We want meguca who can truly contribute, won't get in each other's way, and have a decent chance of not dying. If she gives us names and locations, we'll do the rest.

I got the impression that there was a lot of argument (so much so that I skipped it) but the actual votes are pretty one-sided.

Unless there's something broken. That chain of "Blade of Evil" votes in the middle is a little weird.

For myself -- I like the Redshirt vote (and if I didn't like it then too bad for me), but I don't like doing nothing for Sasa when she's right in front of us. Can we, I don't know, leave a note with our contact details? Then she can drop in on us right when we're least prepared and have too many other things to deal with, which, really, is exactly what we want out of this story.

Currently the plan is to come back to talk to her. But that's something to handle in a future vote.

Oh. Yeah, now I see how Redshirt's vote implies that. I don't really like that plan -- narratively disjointed, may strain Homura's patience, and further extends the thread discussion without meaningful progress -- but it's okay.

My personal plan is to deal with Albertine, go back to the rooftop and enjoy 10 more minutes of lunch, then go deal with Sasa in realtime. The vote is just the first step of that though - dealing with Albertine first - with future steps being decided as they come up.

I think the model is an accurate rendition of the time Sabrina visited Hyrule.

What do you mean that doesn't exist?

She is less important, but her value to us is not zero.
We aren't counting negative numbers, are we? :V
