Not really. Our cover story is amnesia. She could also have been someone we knew before we lost our memories. If was ask about that first, we can keep our cover.


Edit: Jacobplm, I just reread Oriko, and while her capabilites are kinda vauge, they are presented as images of the future, not mindreading.

She reads the future, not our minds. Her being here means something and running away just means we won't have a clue what it is.

I'd hoped we'd have more time- but her actually confronting us in person was slightly unexpected, if a potential bonus. I'd expected a Kirika visit first, actually.

Making her doubt herself and getting some information is the best we can hope for. Telling her we won't let her is a bit of a waste when she already knows that because she saw it coming...annnd precognition strikes again.

Let's talk first. She obviously wants to talk- so let's not get in a stand-up fight in a cramped, public place with a precog who can spam aoe explosives. If we fight, we're likely to lose- and she'd know. Precog, remember?

Plus if Kirika's here, that plan will end quickly and messily, and with much screaming.

Also, no science please. :p

Anyways, yeah, I understand your reasoning, hell, I agree with it. But the idea of punching a precog is both alliterative, awesome, and appealing.

And also incredibly stupid, which is why no one should vote for my idea.

Possible, but I can't see her ignoring the possibility of Gretchen- so we should talk about the "kill Madoka" plan if it comes up, keep an eye out for Kirika- because her (not) being here will mean something even if we can't be sure what, and be ready to start running because we just ran into the BBEG at the end of the first arc and this is not a fight we want to have right now on these terms.

There's a point where hiding meta just turns into a counterproductive joke, Kyubey should already know something's up, and playing dumb with Oriko when she clearly wants to go meta on us is bad in both the short and long term.

No, it's not ideal, but we're entering "worst case scenario" territory here and it's a lose/lose situation. Meta is the lesser evil compared with the alternative.
