But so far as helping other people- meh? I mean, we'll have some new arrivals sure, but we don't need much to help them out. They'll be fine.

We don't need to worry about money laundering until we (or an intermediary with a legal identity) start making purchases that interact with government reporting and regulations, which won't be for quite some time.
Also, I just looked up the gold prices in April 2011 and each of those half-kilo bars is worth about 25,000 USD.

It didn't take litterally zero time. A trillionth of a second is still time.
I really don't think you want to base the moral worth of an action on the fact that it technically has a non-zero cost. If we find a way to reduce the time taken from 1 second to 1 millisecond, soul gem cleansing doesn't become 1000 times less good, it becomes better.

Nah, we took it because shiny, because it wasn't like the Yakuza were going to make use of it, and because gold COULD be useful if we actually used it.
Like we're probably not going to do.
Also, Onmur, why did you gut the Kyoko section and present the healing idea to Mami in those terms? I'm not saying Sayaka shouldn't heal Kyousuke but this is a bad way to present it and a bad time to do it.
Also telling Mami "lol Kirika's going to go crazy" is not exactly tactful. At all.

Huh. So, uh, not to read too much into an authorial statement made to reply to a joke comment, but does that imply can we make a (100m range, probably) Gae Bolg? Or Fragarach? Basically various types of time/causality reversion?
Because if we really are pressed for time to solve all our issues, shouldn't we try conjuring one of the many, many artifacts that stop time?

I really want to get on repairing the Mami-Kyouko relationship, but I'm thinking, to put it this way, we need to build up our own social link with Kyouko until it's strong enough to 'bud', then we can push that development into fixing the Mami-Kyouko friendship.
These have come up now and then. Haven't been tried.
