Regarding cleanses: We've already been keeping the soul gems in our pocket clean, so it doesn't make sense to offer cleanses there. The only person likely to be actively in need of cleansing is Rin. So, we'd have to sort of nonchalantly do that while Fukushima is still watching.
General goodbye party stuff:
[] Check everyone's reactions to Fukushima's request. Determine if there are any objections.
-[] Notice Rin's gem's grief level while doing so, and give it a cleanse (and any others, if appropriate).
-[] Accede to Fukushima's request (assuming no objections); they can go.
[] Check with UG and Ueda, to see if they were ready to head home now.
-[] Ask Ueda if she had any questions for you before she returned to Tokyo.
-[] Let Sakura deal with teleporting Ueda home.
Obviously, if anyone starts asking us more questions, deal with those as appropriate.
After that, have to think about how to approach the Akiko issue. I'd like to get inside somewhere, first, because it's night, and it's raining, and it's probably cold, and we don't want all that water around when we wake Akiko up anyway.
Sendai deserves to be fully present for this, and Mami would not be happy about being left out, and we need Kirika there as a safety measure. At the same time, if witchbombs start dropping, this can get incredibly messy.
There are story inconsistencies, and problems with the fact that Sendai lied to Rin (which makes juggling the discussion problematic).
There's a paranoid part of me that's still concerned that a third party is involved. Both Ishinomaki and Akiko claimed that the other party was the one to invite them to the negotiating table. There is no reason for us to believe that Ishinomaki was lying about that. It is possible that Akiko was lying, but that bumps into the other story problem: Ishinomaki claimed that Setsuko fought a witch, then left the territory, while Akiko was convinced that Ishinomaki killed Setsuko.
While I can kind of see a setup where Akiko set up the negotiation with Ishinomaki, and then told her team that it was Ishinomaki that contacted them, to use as an excuse to fight, that really seems way too roundabout. She hardly needs to convince her team in such a deceptive way, as they've been fighting Ishinomaki for years.
At the same time, we still have Oriko's first vision: something that, when she tries to look at it, there's simply nothing there/nothing past it. She's also deathly terrified of the idea of herself or Kirika becoming a witch. There was a sense that whatever that 'thing' was in the vision, it may be able to take their powers and/or souls if they witch out, so that death is preferable.
On top of that, Oriko's vision of the post-war events indicated another huge 'thing', though in this case it seemed unrelated to the ones in her prior visions; it was just normal bad news. We still don't know if that's been averted, or is still waiting to spring on us.
So..... I'm not really sure where to start.
