[X] [React] Build Aqueduct - Redshore (2x-3 Econ)
[X] [PSN] Main Gold Mine (-2 Centralization, -4 Econ, -1 EE, -3 Tech, +11 Wealth, trade good, gold mine)

Seems like she's part of OUR intrigue networks detecting problems before they happen.

If she's a HK spy, she would probably be sowing sabotage and chaos right about now, or part of a network that is planning an operation. What we have is advanced warning before we get a nasty stability hit in the gut. Hopefully.

Uh, according to last turn's math we should be nearly maxed. AN hadn't updated the statsheet.

We'll be at 18. That mean we will be spending 10 econ now, and then having to worry about not spending ourselves to death the next turn. *sigh*

[X] [PSN] Main Expand Econ (-2 Centralization, -10 EE, -1x2 Tech, +10 Econ)

May change later, being conservative for now

Folks. That intrigue network stuff proven useful. Let us make a policy dedicated to one, please.

Unfortunately, this is not the incident. Worse, it is not a war problem we are about to face, but a diplomatic incident. Oy vey.

e-

Switched to econ, since I double checked and we're getting the unanimity bonus anyway, and we can Main Gold Mine this coming turn.

Actually, before this bandwagon takes off even further. Is there a need to take the Gold Mine, right now? It would still be available for the next turn.

Would not Expand Econ help us pass the Priest Quest?

This all situation in the baths looked like a spying operation, to be honest.l
It is meant to be. It is part of our Intrigue that caught it before it blew up.

[X] [React] Build Aqueduct - Redshore (2x-3 Econ)
[X] [PSN] Main Expand Forest (-2 Centralization + Cost)
Aqueduct because it solves problems and makes Redshore happy, and Expand Forest because trees are always nice for margin of error of industrialization and if a kiln breaks or something I'd like to be able to carry on better.

Gold.

I wonder if the Romans are on the rise. They should appear some day soon.

Why is everyone spending our econ so carelessly? 10 econ gone!

We will have to allocate 8 econ next turn! 8 econ.

Raising an army takes 3 econ, not to mention guild actions which costs at least 4.

On a side note, it seems the independent infrastructure is more independent than I thought.
It's good for Civilization because it develops an independent redundancy for our technologies and social concepts. Worrying for the Crown however.
I think she's a gossip.
Never attribute to malice what might be stupidity and all that.
Naw, she's too perfectly placed. People talk to their bedmates(literally, this is a biology thing, we have hormones which trigger feelings of trust to facilitate pair bonding after sex), and thus a high class prostitute is one of the better ways to gather a barometer on rising elites.

This is less state interest and more patrician interest though. OF COURSE they are going to be watching rising stars in the guilds, because these are likely to be future patricians. So the spy networks focus a lot of those guys, offering treats and freebies to reel them in

Also got persuaded

[X] [PSN] Main Expand Econ (-2 Centralization, -10 EE, -1x2 Tech, +10 Econ)

We don't need the gold RIGHT NOW, even if it would be very important to get it sometime this century.

I've also been persuaded. Completing the Priest Quest is better than getting some wealth RN. The Gold Mine isn't going anywhere.

Why only Secondary Expand Economy? If we want to complete the priest quest, wouldn't it make more sense to pick the maximum Economy option?

Even better. Then lets look at another place that needs a temple! Like the area where we plan to build the Dam and Canal.

Or Hatvalley.

Btw, I think I know what AN was hinting at: The Urban Poor Quest just finished along with the army reforms. The Urban Poor have just massively swollen in number and also political power. Odds are, we now have to deal with a matured Urban Poor faction.

Oh. Time to wave red flag

Why not Main then? To finish up Priests quest that much sooner.

So approval vote it is for me:

We either deal with Priests quest or stave off Liquidity Crisis a couple of centuries (and hopefully get fiat or banking meanwhile).

Also, rip at all the ambitions to get forests from PSN.
