I don't understand the reason for NOT wanting a free city given our centralization limit?
Because making our effective holy city to be effectively independent from our nation is when it is in the middle of our land would be like letting children have access to all the fireworks and drinks in the middle of a forest?

Might make taxes more complicated later on(why I switched), wariness of giving too much power to priests, a few other things.

I think subordinate slots are precious.

Difference in urgency i gather. Some view it as trouble making down the road while some view it as emergency pressure release right now.

It all depends on personal assessment of current risks, how we view our chance of surviving intact for next 3 turns.

*looks up*
Fragnagit.

No ties for me.

[X][RA] Increase debates to determine the truth (-2 to +2 Religious Authority based on success of debates, potential shift in Spiritual Values)

[X][Low] Introduce black soil to improve their conditions (Teaches black soil to vassal)
[X][Low] Force them to follow the spirit of the law (Potential stability loss, potential war with vassal)
[X][Low] Introduce mill technology to improve their conditions (Teaches water mill to vassal)

[X][High] Extra tribute (+2 Prestige, +2 Wealth, probably completes this turn)

[X][RB] Deploy against Highlanders from Hatvalley

[X][React] Main Improve Annual Festival

[X][City] Yes (Transfers 2 Econ + 2 Econ expansion, nulls cost of maintenance for Sacred Forest)

[X][Refugee] Bring in a bit more than usual (-1 Stab, potential further loss, +4-5 Econ)

And wanting to avoid the chaos of a tie.

It's not like new troubles can split our attention even more, the current amount already made it thinner than pre-ww 2 Germany's salary.
Yeeeeaaaah. I imagine a tie on this would not be the kind of fun we had with Fythh and Crow and more like Nomad Duo FUN. No thanks plz.

Anyway, bets on niceness of the Horse Nomads?

Mine is Nice.

If you hadn't swapped then your previous city choice would still be in the lead.....

Your tactical voting seems to be deprived of its tactics
Niet. My original vote was Yes.

Then I went to No.

Then back to Yes.

City is 43 to 41 right now in favor of Yes.

When I checked the tally it was 42 to 41

And I said previous, didn't know about the original

Edit: see below, 42 to 41 my logic wasn't flawed I was just.... deprived of certain facts

Wellhello voted for yes using a nonstandard vote. If counted, it stands 43 to 41.
......I'm pretty sure we've had entire pages worth of people explaining how voting is supposed to work on here.

Dammit Wellhello you had one job! (Hopes everyone forgets his own, earlier, mistakes of a similar nature)
It's like people don't fact-check themselves... >.>
Why would you looks at the very very bottom of the tally when you expect everyone to vote correctly?
It's not so much not fact checking as it is not going the extra mile for a minor possibility

So next turn i am guessing we take

Main Palace
Sec Integrate March
Sec integrate Marchx2?

Get them to follow our laws and to stop picking fights with their neighbours so that they actually try and do stuff with the technology we're giving them.

[X] [High] Humiliate (+1 Prestige, completes immediately)

We have so many better things to do than go at war. Picking this option will guarantee that all of our actions next turn can be used to solve our internal issues. It also means there's no downside whatsoever to keeping the Red Banner at home, which is what we want to do. An early end to the war should also keep down the spread of a warlike religion.

[X] [RB] Remain at rest

We need them in Valleyhome so that they can be reconverted into worshipping the right gods again.

[X] [React] Main Improve Annual Festival

It'll provide Art and, importantly, Stability, plus help with cultural issues. It'll certainly help get refugees integrated into our culture and system.

[X] [Refugee] Bring in a bit more than usual (-1 Stab, potential further loss, +4-5 Econ)

We have to help people and the Economy will be very useful considering we plan to start on a megaproject soon. Economy is just useful in general really. This generosity, when combined with the festival, should give our priests a fair amount of extra power in the debates.

Because it has been obviously shown, as in here, that people don't vote correctly. Also it is really not hard to do to scroll to the very bottom alone and see if there is weirdness.

I use NetTally exclusively though and I tend to spot this shit easier I guess. *shrug* sorry if I offended you.

E: To thread Yes is currently leading.

Another reason to end the war as quickly as possible with Humiliate is because thanks to We Have Reserves, losses to Martial can mean losses to Economy. Not good considering we have a megaproject to pay for.
