Heck, if you're looking at it polity wise, the revenge only prospered our people. Two generations from now, their "revenge" means what to the people? They've still got warriors looking over them, just with a somewhat different ancestry than if the two of them hadn't launched their plot.
Well, that's what we get for hammering the More Food button so many turns in a rowEcon 3 is clearly a reference to our level of surplus. Since we started supporting the trade faction so heavily it cuts up some of the excess. Mechanically, Econ 5 read as "there's enough grain stored that massive amounts of it just go to waste from spoilage despite basically all women constantly producing babies." We were so deep in the money that having a few kids out of wedlock wasn't even an issue; hell, all parties involved in the making of the stupid teenagers supported it!
Econ 5 is... blatantly unnecessary, except in the case we plan some sort of massive food-wasting project, and then do another two in a row.
Beside that, City Trade is more likely to give Diplo and Tech rather than Econ, which is developed through internal efforts.
Considering they'r'e traders, knowing that a culture would honestly give you fair trade and expect fair trade is huge. You don't need anything else to become favored trade partner when it's clearly the most stable trade point you can find...and it helps that they always have a surplus of food(which is a huge concern for nomadic traders) and acts as a stable population exchange base to rebalance their population spread.Well, it seems that our Eye for an Eye trait is actually pretty handy. The traders seemed surprised and pleased that we were actually trying to be fair and just, which means that they're more easily befriended and open to sharing their secrets with us.
Depends on if spirits are real, but either way it's a source of inspiration for future generations.I think the journey is to find out more about something rather than doing something about it.
Ah sorry, it wasn't aimed at your vote.Depends on if spirits are real, but either way it's a source of inspiration for future generations.
And we're behind on the spiritual progress track as well. Another culture got started on religion first, so it's possible for them to define our spiritual beliefs as traders pick up and spread them.
Wanted our own angle on it.
Oh hey you finally got an avatar. It's... interesting.
Should I use one of my other ones? I have cute cats, painted cats, and memes.Ah sorry, it wasn't aimed at your vote.
@hylas240 Implied war/lowland would allow our ancient Leader to somehow remove the threat by himself.

Best served cold?Hahahah Cwryl achieved the best kind of revenge. Spiting those who fucked with his family while being loved for it and doing the right thing for everyone to the point that none would care.
What more perfect vengeance could one ask for?
Well done.
We're almost certainly being kept in the dark both because it's entertaining to AN and because in a meta way it produces a more natural response to spiritually oriented decision-making.

Spoilage isn't waste, actually, not as viewed by the people of the tribe; to them, it would simply mean that their work was immensely rewarding and that they lived in plenty. In the case of stone age tribes like this, it brings a strong sense of safety and stability to the lives of the families, leading them to have more children, have more children survive to adulthood, and be more willing to forgive indiscretions with 'inferior' mates (and generally be less concerned with family-approved matches).Add food wasters to our list of crimes. Which is probably is a crime back than. That's what would get everyone against us.
Did the three tribes - us, the wonderers, and the shattered tribe - assimilate into a single people, or did we simply become three separate ethnic groups in a single settlement?
