So Anubis army coming for a visit when?

Fertile floodplain, lush forest, and plenty of slaves; they are either super successful or super fractured.

Wonder if priest king or god king is in effect already.

Man if this thread is the collective subconscious of the people, then yandere portion is getting the upper hand with latest AN comment.

Yup, all aboard the mega-awesome megaproject plan.

We'll just have periphery states do all the boring non-mega stuff. The prestige we gain from Projects should make that possible.

We should try to meet the super rich guys. If we establish trading ties with them, we could probably take one of their values with CA.

Wasn't the Nile river keeping the surrounding ecosystem super lush before human over harvested the place?

Where else would they get wood for those ships and moving stone blocks?

I don't recall Egypt being known for their lush forests. As for boats, they initially built them out of reed. They're also not exactly known for their seafaring capability.

The key is that they have more population than us. That means that they likely have more income, more provinces, and more periphery states. It doesn't matter if we go full out on megaprojects if they still have a better action economy than we do. They'll build megaprojects faster than we can.

It's likely that we will compete with them for the Mediterranean in the future.

Not if we burn all our Stability in the process

Me either, but i do know that they use the river to travel and trade. And everyone need a lot of wood to build a boat for any serious transportation. It's one of the things that formed the basis of Egypt economy, as apparently they are unable to build road due to desert wind and sand erosion.
