I really like the idea of getting a Library soon
We got a lot of people so there a good chance that it bring about passive advances

Have people forgotten about establishing the vineyard already? Or are we assuming that the provinces will establish it on their own?

Negaverse be so jealous that we are having what is essential meat diet for even the lowest laborers.

Not sure about the lowest; AN has mentioned that half-exiles are basically (in)formally used to absorb gaps in food rations, so they may well not receive that veal or at least do receive far less of it.
I mean, it's still better than what slaves of others in the region do receive and our non-half-exiles probably indeed have richer diet, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows by modern standards, even if it likely is by chalcolithic ones.

Actually we had a bit of famine during the Time of Nomad Dying. That's how hard they pushed us. And they only had to sacrifice 2/3rd of their lives to do it, what a bargain.

Well, yes; this was the first time since that one drought ages ago in the more or less beginning of the quest.

Actually. Since the Stallion tribes are descended from nomads, what is the feasibility of absorbing that march and then establishing a new march further into the Steppes so as to protect the new province?

I'm kind of amazed we have milk! If I'm recalling correctly lactose intolerance is the norm not the exception in ancient people.
You know. I can see the negaverse nomad reaction to sending their 2 best heroes. Only for it to backfire horribly.

"On one hand, you have a successful raid. On the other hand 2/3d of your forces are wipe out. And your enemies still have reserves."

......."FUUUCKKKK!. I told you guys to stop stick our dick in crazy. But nooo, you want all the shiny."

"It's not that bad. At least we got the metal workers. Once we got all the bronze than we see who's laughing."
"I know we killed them all until they were dead last turn, so why are there twice as many bodies in our way as there were before?!"

On the subject of Expand Forests and why I think it gives economy slots.

We know forests do useful things to soil and rainfall patterns - see the entire arguments we've just had about the steppes and how we could invest to make them good for farming.

Economy slots indicate that there's things we could do to get more out of our territory - that some of it is going unused, or used inefficiently.

That more forests could thus increase the fertility or the amount of land we can cultivate -> more econ slots is an obvious conjecture.

And here's the thing: we've had anomalous extra econ slots show up before, after an Expand Forest.
*Pops in as he gets quoted.* Huh? What's this?

Oh, you're all wondering what gives more econ slots? Expand Forests is very possible, keep in mind that the way you work your forests is by having people constantly tend to them, quite possibly living in them. We've also seen instances of increased econ slots when study health was done, though that was in the case of getting payouts of actual tech. It may do so normally anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if Study Forest could give more econ slots, and then there's the aqueducts of course...

So how's the quest going?
