Oh, well I am assuming we have a large percentage of them, based on what we have today i'd put normal around 5-7% but it feels like we have a higher percentage than that based on how often they come up, so maybe its because their mentioned so often my perceptions off

My original :Citation Needed: was to McLuvin's claim that it "never happened". Which I still find to be an unproven claim given that the scenario described featured Mag on her deathbed, which she is still far from.

Gwygoytha was me misreading you, I think. The stream of new comments made me think a bit less about what I was writing than usual, and as I think you can guess I don't usually think a lot.

But there are actual decent chances of one of the princessess being gay or bi. If we assume a 'standard' gay/bi rate of 5%, there's actually a 45% chance that at least one of them is attracted to women. 30% if we take a more conservative 3% rate.
eAnd that's just assuming those are random women. But if a chief knows that one of his daughters is attracted to women, then it only makes sense to use har for a marriage allegiance with the Ymaryn, who in fact values that to a certain extent. And I don't think our belief of multiple souls and the like is something kept hidden from traders. At the very least the DP would've learned so through their extended visit.

Keep in mind though that it is still badly seen through a lot of this world and society dictates that you hide it. The number is likely bigger than that.

Not really, although there is some platonic/maternal affection between some of them.

Anyway, locking in as

So based on asexuality that I didn't realize was legitimately a state a human can be then I guess it could be romantic despite it being platonic
Edit: I know you can do things asexually, I just didn't realize people thought themselves Asexual
