Where are these two techniques coming from for Kei to learn them?

Similarly, where are these techniques coming from for Noburi to learn them?

Air Element: Iron Lung Jutsu
Casting time [Level seconds] as the user inhales inhumanly deeply.
Allows the user to hold their breath for [Level] minutes.

Wow, I had no idea some of those utility jutsu were added to the jutsu doc. Look at me ma, I'm a co-author now!
Crazy how long this game has been going on. I had no recollection of these until after I searched the thread.

The Wakahisa? We did an exchange as part of our Koi deal. IIRC it was noted that we'd be getting things of a similar caliber to what we gave up (albeit in the form of three utility ninjutsu instead of combat), and we gave them HM.

Maybe just throw the XP into Water Element: Unspecified Wakahisa Utility Ninjutsu 1 and Water Element: Unspecified Wakahisa Utility Ninjutsu 2?

Lease rights to 7th Path gold mine. Station summon there, no travel time. Prime reads notes, all mining done by SCs. Pay part of the gold mined to Dog.
Could mostly work, but what would Dog want gold for? So far we've only seen them show any interest in gold when it came to pranking Hazo a bit. We'll probably need an alternate payment.

After some thought, my read of Cannai is that he'd be fine with Hazo going around asking anyone if they were interested in this, but given the current crisis, the amount of dogpower we'd need would be significant enough that we'd need to do something in return for Cannai and/or the specific dogs in question.

Is the plan to bring the ore near the surface so it's easy for civilians to mine
I'll note that we could mine it ourselves fully legally, as the Merchant Council's abilities stops at Konoha's border. Mining with civilian would only be beneficial if outsourcing the final step to them was a timesaver.
Asuma encourages Hazō to sell additional iron ore outside of Leaf (where the Merchant Council has no influence) if he wants, but does not want him to sell outside of Fire as access to iron and steel are strategically important.

I just went down the known-jutsu document. It does seem like they came from the Walahisa deal though.

The Gōketsu / Wakahisa deal
This is the preliminary deal worked out between Hazō and Yasuji. It still needs to be signed off by the Hokage and the Wakahisa Clan Head.

Five non-combat jutsu (Specified in-universe but TBD by the QMs. Valuable but not obviously game changing. Suggestions welcome)

I have three ideas right now, will come up with more later.

Water: Ice Sculpture Jutsu
...
Water: Drying Jutsu
...
Wind: Repetition Jutsu
...

Hey lol we should check if there's actually gold in Dog, maybe show Cannai some of the ores.

"Here you go, easy trade with whatever summoner comes after me. ^_^"

It's got precedent in canon- Kazekage #4 used gold dust as his preferred weapon. We'd have to figure out magnet release to replicate that guy's tech exactly, but I assume we're controlling it via ES, not magnets, so the precedent works imo.
I really like the idea of technique hacking techniques that let us move specific materials!

THing Idea: Baby's First Paper Jutsu
  • Creates a nonelemental jutsu that allows people to crudely telekinetically control paper after touching it.
  • The higher this jutsu's level, the faster and more precisely the user can direct paper.
  • With dedicated practice, users can learn how to manipulate paper seals without damaging their ink.
    • Allows users to make their seals "home in" on their target, making the seal's effect harder to dodge proportional to this jutsu's level.
    • At high levels, allows user to quickly set up sealing arrays midcombat.

Any plan at all that attempts to free Ren gets my vote. If that worries you I'd advise you to put together a plan you wouldn't mind winning with that included

All XP awards on the sheets should be up to date now.
I noticed that FP is lagging behind. Last updated for Chapter 637

We started Chapter 638 with 3 FP, spent one on an invoke to end with 2, so we should be eligible for refresh there.

Chapter 639 didn't progress the timeline. So even though we started and ended with 3(?) FP. I don't think we are eligible for refresh.

So we've had the jutsu mechanics for Kei's RW Buff for a while, now. And voting opens up tomorrow.

Just checking: are we still chill with leveling it up to 30 for her, or do we want to try and push it to a 40-slot?

What should we do for Kei's combat barrier? I'd rather not wait until we Go Missing for her to clear it.

Yuno takes chakra beast missions so often that it's a running joke in Leaf about how other ninja have to beat her to the message board...

Do you think Kei and Noburi should join her on one? Noburi could go ahead and clear out his next combar stagnancy barrier, while also serving as an in-site combat medic.

Could send her back in the seal failure cave now that she has a chakra buff that affects her weapons. Noburi and Yuno too. Maybe Mari as well.

I think Merchant Council applies if we *sell* in Leaf. Pretty sure there aren't mines inside the city, and I don't think Asuma was just yanking us around for fun before.

Didn't Yuma say it's inactive now?
He did, I'm not really interested in this tbh

Send her for some of that healing sap in Demon country

If we just give it to the Tower to mint in exchange for a small fee, I don't think it counts as selling. We should be all good.

I think it's just the grand prize that's inactive. Might be worth sending some Pangolins down to see if there are still shades, and seeing if we can organize an expedition with Sasuke to plunder ninjutsu.
Right, I just think it'll either be absurdly dangerous or completely uninteresting.
It'd be far less dangerous with a ninjutsu spec jōnin with us. Or better yet, a Hagoromo.
