And no, so far as Maya knows there's exactly 4 ki users on the planet: her, us, Dad, and the guy who was fighting the scout. At this point, she also knows there's something up with Jaron. But while she's doubtless guessed there's at least a few more, that hasn't been confirmed for her.

You mean besides all the backup, or that we spilled there's a society by accident? :p

Also, the school's in a public area, and the aliens are flying in full view of the surrounding area. We're literally down the street from the (former?) Mayors office and police station, and I bet you there's someone talking about it on the internet, if not streaming it.

Obvious special effects. And really, that footage is so grainy you can't see anything. I mean, those costumed people just disappear! And the kids do too! That's just sloppy editing!

Given that entire squads of ki warriors are about to flit in to help protect civilians from the scouts, Maya's going to know there ARE a significant number of ki warriors on the Garenhuld. If there was hope of making Maya think that she (and Karen's family, and maybe Charles/Cabba) are the only ones on the planet... that ship has sailed.

Moreover, we are NOT going to be able to maintain ANY kind of Masquerade around Maya without pulling various secret techniques out of our hats. I mean, in the last two years think of all the things Maya has learned are possible, that she must have thought were impossible and the realm of complete fantasy:

-Telepathy
-Teleportation
-Telekinesis
-Unaided flight at supersonic or even hypersonic speeds
-Super-senses at the 'Superman can hear conversations from many miles away and see better than a telescope/microscope' level.
-The psychic ability to detect other empowered beings at planetary ranges
-Superhuman speed
-Superhuman strength and stamina
-The power to shoot plasma blasts from one's eyes, fists, or other body parts of one's choosing. Blasts that hit like nuclear weapons.

Almost every single one of these incredible powers, which she has not only seen but practiced herself, with the exceptions of telepathy and teleportation... Karen taught her all these things. Not just showed, taught, in that Maya can now do them too.

Maya is going to be pretty much unsurprised if we bust out yet another mysterious technique. Especially an esoteric one that takes considerable control of advanced skills like telepathy and ki control, which Multiform probably does or everyone would be doing it.

Excellent! Come to think of it, Satan Style would be actually pretty good for Kakara once she gets a sufficiently high Deceit level to make use of it. Oddball would have great synergy with it.

EDIT: I'm thinking we should get Novice in Tien Style so that we become able to use life force in our attacks, then make our focus Satan Style. Oddball would have synergy with it, as I noted before, and it allows us to level up a social skill even as we increase our fighting ability! It's the perfect style for someone running a social build like Kakara.

EDIT2: Mastering Satan Style would also allow us to train Elite/Legendary Deceit.
