There's a difference between a style that doesn't hurt anyone because it is pacifist, and a style that doesn't hurt anyone because it is totally ineffectual.
I think most people don't think it's worth the awkwardness of explaining to Maya how we suddenly managed to pull a 40% power increase out of a hat. That said, I REALLY think we should have the option to keep 'tracking' Maya's maximum power level in our spars with Maya so that she feels as though she's actually competing with us in some meaningful sense.
Although come to think of it, we're getting to the point where the question of where we train with Maya is obvious. Maya is powerful enough to accidentally break fragile things like "the continent she's standing on" if she gets carried away. And her ki signature is powerful enough to attract scouter attention from a long way off. Normally we'd train her in the Hall, but that's full of Saiyans and is needed.
Most likely solution? We know some of the more powerful Houses, like Senzu, have private training facilities (I'm just going to call them dojos) with wards similar but inferior to those of the Hall, capable of muffling the ki signature of an ordinary saiyan or even an oozaru. It could be that Berra is arranging the use of one of those facilities.

IIRC, this came up before, and the answer was sorcerers have been warding the training locations.

Given that such warded facilities already exist, I figured it might be relatively likely that we'd just use one of them. Though the Senzus may be more or less unique in having their own heavily warded dojo, I guess.
I believe its because any such place is under the control of another house, and it'd introduce an unfortunate amount of politics into the situation.

Edit: Just realized that with telepathy and mind delve being a thing their likely is a way to use ki to blast someone's mind and turn them into a meat puppet. There might be a ki Borg out there somewhere.

...Look, I think you understand the point I was going to make. I'm not going to sit here and list out every scenario wherein I'd be "okay" with Kakara enacting "KILL THEM ALL".
