Why? She's one of her entirely species' top four permanently quantity-limited front-line combatants. That's like taking twenty ranks in barbarian and deciding to be the local librarian.

Goten didn't try to be a surgeon. You're arguing that she has to avoid getting B+s in middle school because it might create bad habits not to when she is chairing massively important theological discussions, investigating political intrigue, spearheading a rebellion, preparing for invasion, and inventing entirely unheard of metamorphosis.

More importantly, why does it have to start right this very moment at age ten?

EDIT: @PoptartProdigy, in Garenhuld II we said that the nobles' hands-off approach wasn't working and that she needed to become more involved. Does A Scion's Duties have us getting involved in the way we said we would or do we have to take a different action to do that?

@PoptartProdigy, I have an idea for a ki talent. The idea is that just like a microphone and a speaker can amplify a person's voice, we can use the structure of our eyes to focus and enhance our ki sense, essentially giving us better ki sense (possibly with new features) but limited to our field of vision. Sharingan/Byakugan are the inspirations if you know about Naruto.

As mentioned, that's pretty similar to Ki Sight, so it would be slightly redundant. But you could absolutely do it, yeah.

I'm not though, I've already pointed the side benefits it brings us AND now is the perfect time to try and learn it with the invasion coming. Heck we can use that when talking to sensei and getting ready to being him into the conspiracy.

So the Ki Sight Seer technique is basically like a better version of Ki Sense when it comes to combat use? (i.e. ki sense-derived combat precog)

How is it only "slightly" redundant?

What unique benefits would we get from doing my idea, but instead using our sense of touch and hearing rather than sight?

Yeah, but we could totally get a job as a librarian or something. Getting accredited as a doctor is really hard, and we wouldn't even be able to use Ki healing - we'd have to use regular medical techniques. We'd be better off as a librarian or something.

...Actually, a librarian would be great; we could spend downtime on the job reading and learning.

Future sight is pointless. We know from the Bardock Special that the future is set in stone and doing anything about it only makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Besides, it's not like this power can't give us advance warning of future threats either. If an enemy is coming to our planet to fight a Super Saiyan, it just means we'll see him in transit rather than on our planet.

I wouldn't say better. After all, it is firmly restricted to your field of view.

Some weird synesthesia. Touch is basically what it already is, but focusing there specifically would make overloads feel hot instead of giving you a headache. It would also improve the granularity of your judgment of how a given signature "feels." Hearing would make overloads deafen you, but would be far superior for triangulation, making it the best tool for Instant Transmission.

I pick Maintain Grades because I feel our investment in the mundane world of Garenhuld is a good thing that gives us grounding. If there was a socialize with Misfit's option I would be tempted to do it instead, but that weight is currently carried by the two actions spent on Jaron and Maya respectively. Also, our friends don't want us to slack, so we shouldn't.

Family first because letting resentment fester in the family is seldom a positive life choice. A Scion's Duty III because we need the training. Get organized to make sure the two conspiracies against the seal don't run head long into each other and mess up everything.

Plan Sucal or as I call it, Plan Support!

We aren't the fighty Scion, we are the political/friendly one!

So rather then trying to focus on being the blasty one, we should cement our relationships with those important with us, as well as getting stronger ties with the other houses! After all, with House Peat potentially being a problem, how better to potentially diffuse it by getting the heir as our best Saiyan friend? So yeah, my plan is less on the punchy punchy and more on tieing ourselves clsoer to sanity with our friends as well as sounding out both potential supporters and ensuring we have long term stability. While we might have missed one attempt at going crazy, that doesn't mean their might not be further sanity checks waiting for us!

With the potential slaughter that is coming, moving closer to being able to pick up Ki Healing so try and fix the carnage will help our pacifisit little soul, as well as working to improve things long term.
