Faster than she can react, yes; faster than her guards can react, less so. Instant Transmission has a visual tell (we have to raise our fingers to our forehead) so it should be possible to anticipate.

However...

If we fell back and started charging for Spirit Saiyan (or feigned doing so, if we can do that convincingly) while Jaffur engaged Vegeta and Berra, is it possible that he'd occupy their attention enough for us to sneak in an Instant Transmission and go for Dandeer directly? I'm not sure it's the best plan (or even feasible, depending on whether we can fake/early-cancel the charging process) but it seems like it has a chance at working.

But can we do so before our opponents can react? That's not even considering the fact that she could very likely have deadman switches. Such as having the SSJ's under her control go genocidal.
 
This isn't a 3 on 3 fight. This is 3 people trying to protect a 4th person which is much much harder. We just need to keep blasting as Dandeer untill the waste heat from the beams is enough to fry her.

Damn it why did we have to monologue. We had so many opportunities to kill her and instead we gave her a chance to pull shit.
 
[][FIGHT] Kais on high you wish you'd fired up Spirit Saiyan in advance now. You need it, right now. Jaffur doesn't have to beat both Vegeta and Berra -- frankly, you doubt he can under these conditions. But he should hopefully be able to give you five minutes to charge.

I just knew that it wasn't possible for things to actually go to plan.

I would assume that it's because Dandelor is a master sorcerer that has dedicated much of his life to overthrowing Dandeer and making her pay for her crimes. We thought he had considered everything that a sorcerer of her power and influence might have set up.

Which he still might have mostly done. The issue is that Dandeer somehow has some kind of passive anti-seer magic on that no one has noticed until now. Dandelor could have considered this kind of mind control, but then thought that it wouldn't be an issue after seers didn't bring up the issue as a possibility.

can't Jaffur just kaio-ken x5 in fpSSJ, defeat Goku and Vegeta in an instant and then kill Dendeer? Or would that break the halls wards @PoptartProdigy ?

I assume she had prepared spells on Berra and Vegeta, and improvised one on Yammar- his mind control was triggered by her putting a hand to his forehead.

Tense like you're about to attack, raise hand to head like you're about to teleport (is that actually a necessity?), maybe even flick your eyes over to a probable location... Then watch as dad just gets out of the way of your attack.

I don't know if micro on that scale is acceptable, but that seems like a decent idea.

Like I said, sorcerers prepare. I expected Berra to be compromised; I didn't expect Yammar to be.

But the Genki Dama is not subtle. I considered the risk of setting off a warning, entirely too high.
 
This is your reminder that Golden Great Ape can fire off kikohos and tank beatings at more than max power even as base Kakara collects genki.

Was it this quest or another quest where kakara has ideas and thoughts based on discussion even if not explicitly part of a vote?
