...How exactly does Kakara quickly incapacitate and arrest her father? We don't have any quick 'surprise' techniques for cheap-shotting him, and our only technique for gaining an overwhelming power advantage requires an extensive charge-up time in order to work.

Ahhh. See, there was a shift from singular 'you' to plural and back to singular in the text of that vote option. Obviously the plan makes sense and I could reasonably assume we had a non-stupid plan, but something about it triggered my inner literalist. Sorry.
And I doubt he'd be able to willpower push his way out of it if a fight broke out. He may be a strong willed man, but he's going to be reeling from what we tell him and having to fight both his mother and his own daughter would be really rough. His WP penalty would be something fierce.
