[X] Rename Dazarel to 'Kitty' (pronounced as Buu did in legend)
-[X] Play with Kitty

Because we are Best!Gokun, so even when we play with Kitty, it could shatter solar systems.

note: being able to hit power level cap of SSJ in just a couple of actions makes it feel cheap, and severely limits/cheapens progress. Like Betarel said, once you hit the cap what's the point of continuing ? Hopefully SSJ2 (whenever we unlock it) will need a lot of time to cap out
We're going to need to get clever to find a way to attain the higher saiyan transformations without imperiling (effectively, dooming) Garenhuld's safety by creating a galaxy sized beacon that screams to the Enemy "HERE I AM!".

There's been some speculation on how to do this. Obvious ideas:

1) Use the Senzus' spaceship, or a ship captured from the aliens, to fly somewhere very remote, maybe even outside the galaxy altogether, to train.
2) Train in the otherworld, since we have a Seer's ability to visit there.
3) Develop better magical wards that can conceal power levels above that of a Golden Oozaru.
4) Find paths to power that don't involve ki; I'm specifically imagining Jaffur pulling out some Doctor Strange level sorceror bullshit and his super-saiyan powers when fighting the Enemy, though obviously that isn't any guarantee of success.

...Theoretically, could the saiyans safely move the planet to some much farther solar system away from where the Enemy is?
Yes. It's called Garenhuld. :p

Seriously, the Exiles picked the planet as far as possible from anywhere they suspected the Enemy might be, and from anyone who could possibly detect them. They spent quite some time searching before doing this, as I recall. While there might be a slightly better planet, I doubt there's a vastly better one.

Might not even need a solar system. Ki power should be able to do replace the need of a sun.

That would be interesting. A few sayains constantly moving the planet farther and farther away.
The hard part would be, you know, physically moving our planet/people. Moving a planet isn't just a matter of grabbing it and pushing; that would be like trying to move a mass of cotton candy by firing bullets through it.

I wonder if we could build a space station, and then Kakara could power up using Spirit Saiyan and use that to drive an epic feat of Instant Transmission?

No, my question isn't "find a better solar system" -- my question is "find a farther solar system with approrpiate sun and then move the planet there." While the latter is a harder challenge, if it is possible to safely physically move the planet then we are not limited to systems that have habitable planets, only systems that have stars of appropriate type.

I honestly doubt we'll be able to find a way to move the planet without dragonballs. With dragonballs it might be possible to move a planet.

Ordinarily, I might agree, but consider: Jaffur is a sorceror, and it's apparently possible to overcharge one's magic with ki.

Consider also: Given time, we could learn Fusion, allowing him to safely go Spirit Saiyan, allowing him to overcharge further.

Clearly, the solution is for Kakara to create a third or even fourth ring of dead planets around Garenhuld.

-actually, we should probably get around to asking Dazy if he's the big bad reason behind the first two...

Guys, it's not just "find a star", you have to find a star system that has a viable goldilocks zone.

I'm pretty sure Garenhuld is the system the furthest out that has one, at least without theoretically crossing the entire galaxy, or going all the way around its edge.

Or, you know, we focus on making better Wards? Perhaps using some of that ki-stealthing material the Scouts used as physical anchors for wards or some such?

Well technically all stars have a goldilocks zone the problem is finding a planet in there and making sure that the zone doesn't have to much radiation passing through it so it really wouldn't be to much of a problem. Also I'd like to remind everyone that rouge planets and solar systems are a thing in the inter galactic void so it's a very viable solution to go live out there if you have the ability to move planets or ya know just build a space station.

Although personally I still think that improving the wards is a more viable solution unless were reaching power levels where we don't really have to care about universal distances.

Are you trying to give the Garenhuld natives heart attacks? Because I have absolutely no doubt that they would panic beyond any ability to calm them down...

Garenhuld is more than likely not the furthest one out. It's just the furthest one out that also has a planet there.

All stars have a goldilock zone, it's just that most(?) of them don't happen to have a rocky planet of the appropriate size in that tiny area.
Though i agree, improving the Wards seem the best way forward in the simple "moar power" route. Or a Hyperbolic Time Chamber ? And unless Jaffar's condensation tech has really ridiculous scalling (because, seriously ? +5%? ...), the latter forms of SSJ are going to be mandatory.
Even if you, somehow, stack Jaffar's trick + Kaioken times <whatever> + awesome 1337 combat skills + Teamwork, I doubt a FPSSJ1 can hit much higher than say Majin Buu ballpark at the very most. So nowhere near what will be eventually needed to do more than tickle The Enemy...

Note: a planet-wide Ward could be useful too, there's been a ridiculous amount of times where a SSJ has gone full power outside of the Training Hall lately...

Final Step
Final Step

You take special care, during the last week before the Unsealing, to spend time with Jaron. You're worried for him, after all. That being said, you promised him time. You don't pester him about what you saw.

He does seem a little...jumpy...though.

Jaron gives you another suspicious look. "So what are you teaching me today?"

"Today, we're improving your ki sense," you say, stretching. "You're first of our non-Maya friends, because Maya's already learned a bit, and you're the most powerful right now. Plus, if I know you, you're most likely to get into a fight during the invasion."

He frowns at you. "No I'm not. That's all you. I might fight because I don't want to stay out. You'll fight because you'd never even consider staying out, and you're too strong for your dad to physically restrain you."

You blink. "Well...yeah, okay. Fair. But aside from me, you're the most likely to get in trouble."

"No I'm not," he says, again. "That's Maya. Because there's no way Maya would sit back while you're fighting the aliens."

You twitch. Maya is still quite the troublesome thought, for you. "Well...alright. But you can't convince me that you're likely to sit it out completely!"

"Well, no," he admits, untroubled. "But come on, I'm not likeliest."

You sigh. "Yes, okay, fine, you're right, Jaron. Can we move on?"

His face twitches in annoyance. "Fine. So what's there to know?"

"Honestly, just picking it up in the first place isn't that hard," you say. "It's getting good at it that's the problem."

"Yeah, yeah," he says. "So let's get me started."

You roll your eyes. "Fine, genius. Fly for me."

He suppresses a grin, and you hide your own. Even over a year after he first learned, Jaron still absolutely loves to fly. You watch as he rises into the air.

You nod. "This is one of the easiest ways to do it," you say, lifting off as well. "We fly by pushing ki out of our bodies. But it's still our ki. It's still out there. You can still feel it if you try. Just...follow it down."

He frowns. "But it's still out there. It's not me anymore."

You wave the objection aside. "It's still you. Just not inside you anymore. Try it."

His expression turns mulish. "But it's not in there anymore. It can't be me if it isn't there anymore."

You glare, the part of you that remembers the Genki Dama immediately offended. "Yes, it is!" you snap. "It..." You take a quick breath, calming down. "...just trust me, Jaron. You're working with something you don't really understand. If I say something, just believe me."

He grimaces and nods, looking down at his feet.

You rub at your head. "Why are you so bad at that? Why do you have to argue everything?"

He sighs. "Look, I'm not good at this stuff. I'm not a noble like you. I wasn't told how to talk to people ever since I could talk at all. I don't always get to tell myself that at least it can't get too bad, no matter how I screw up. I'm not-" He comes up short, blinking, and turns away, focusing on the ki streaming out of the soles of his feet.

Your scalp prickles. "Like who?"

"Nobody," he replies. "How do I know when this is working?"

"Jaron, like who?" you persist, drifting closer.

"Look I don't know, alright?" he snaps, turning around. "I don't know! I'll just start saying things like that and by the time I hit the end of the sentence I don't even know what I'm saying. I think I recognize something and then I look again and I'm sure I'm never seen it in my life. I keep on doing or saying things, and then by the time I hit the end, I have no idea what's going on. You happy now?"

You stare at him, lips parted slightly in shock. He turns around again, focusing on his feet.

He does not figure out ki sensing that day. Can't quite get over the hangup about how it's outside of his body.

The fact that you had trouble paying attention to the lesson by that time probably didn't help.

Jaron does not have ki sensing unlocked at any skill level. You have confirmed that Jaron is experiencing passive Seal leakage, likely as a result of Jaffur's initial modification to the Seal or modifications made later by Dandeer. Jaron is halfway convinced that he's losing his mind.

* * *

In a dozen different spots, in a dozen different times, you settle down in the wilds far from civilization, and close your eyes. Time and again, you let the world slip away as you retreat into yourself. This is important. Even if you didn't know the secret of the Genki Dama, you know that this is important. The world is messy, and it makes it its business to make your ambitions hard to achieve. Out in the mess and noise of the wider world it's really easy to lose sight of your goals. It's critical to take the time to reaffirm who you are and what you want.

That's not to say that the rest of the world doesn't get a say -- if it didn't, you simply wouldn't be able to achieve what you want. But it's important, every so often, to stop and breathe, and remember where you're aiming.

You will free Jaron. You will free Jaffur. You will stop Dandeer from hurting your people any more. You don't know when you started thinking of the Vegetans as your people as much as the Gokun are, but you have.

You're going to fix things.

A dozen times, in a dozen places, over the course of seven days. On the last day, you open your eyes, and stand.

At long last...six and a half years later...it's time.

Kakara has meditated on her goals, and reaffirmed her convictions. Effects unclear, as of yet, but something has happened.

The day of the Unsealing has come
.

It is before dawn, on the day of the Unsealing. The eastern horizon is starting to turn orange. You presently sit on a bluff overlooking Horus Bay from the west. Jaron is sleeping in his home; Dandeer is in the Hall someplace. You can sense two watchers in Jaron's vicinity, keeping tabs on him on Dandeer's behalf. Sensei has checked in on behalf of the other Seers, confirming their readiness. Yammar has confirmed that all Vegetan conspirators are standing by for action. Grandma has confirmed the same of your Clan. Head Raditz has contacted you to tell you that his house is prepared. You have both of today's uses of multiform ready to go, and have juice for one vision and one mind projection today.

Begin the Unsealing?

[ ] Yes. Go now and extract Jaron to Hall Senzu.
-[ ] Smash and grab. Get in, remove him before anybody can notice or object, and get out.
-[ ] Stealth game. Before you move in to get Jaron, take down the sentries. It'll give you some time before anybody can raise the alarm, and keep them out of harm's way.
-[ ] With catlike tread. Sneak past the sentries, remove Jaron from his bed, and depart with no one the wiser. Jaron sleeps in on weekends, so this will, in theory, give you the most time before anybody gets suspicious.
-[ ] Write-in. Bear in mind that it's pre-dawn on a weekend, for any proposals.
[ ] No. The moment isn't right just yet.
-[ ] This is your last chance to inform Maya of what's going on. At least let her know to stay away from any of your people today.
-[ ] Let's have that vision now (write in what).
-[ ] Project to Jaffur and let him know that you're incoming.
-[ ] Armor up. This shouldn't come to a fight, but if Dandeer gets sufficiently desperate or crazed, you want insurance.
-[ ] Send Miss Fren a message to get to the Hall. You want a media presence when you humble Dandeer and end this charade.
-[ ] Write-in. Bear in mind that you need to get this shit sorted by today, and the sooner the better.
[ ] Multiform. Bear in mind your limits on this skill; today in particular, they will be important.
-[ ] Write in a plan
-[ ] composed of up to three
-[ ] compatible items.

MANUAL MORATORIUM. APPROVAL VOTING.

It's time. Even for us, it's been a long two years of waiting for this.

Have fun, everybody. :D

Let's go hard and fast. Hit the sentries and don't stop moving until he is clear. Trying to stealth could have the best result, but it is much more risky for a relatively small gain.

You mean we didn't have a plan to grab Jaron during a training session? That seems like the obvious way. I mean we can have a Maskerade replacement and everything.

But we just had a training session. That would have been the perfect time to do it. We had him alone and everything.
Alas, if only the other hundreds of conspirators had been in position.

That said, given that you've been visiting him every day thanks to the option to pester him winning, you showing up on his doorstep again to train would not be remarkable.

[ ] No The moment isn't right just yet.
-[]go to Sensu hall. Brief and prepare the double.
--[]If they can do a double of you as well that would save a multiform

We could send papata[that's nice vegetan reporter lady, right?] an encrypted interview/address about the sealing, then send her the private key and an "air this" message.

Can we inform Maya for our stake because we kept secrets until the Dazarel fight, so doing the same thing the second time would strain things, it would be better to let her know ahead of time.

Also when we do the grab let's not raise the suspicion of Jaffur little sis because I can totally see us bumping into her and since we never met, so the questioning would delay the kidnapping or alert Dandeer.

Hm. What if we informed Maya and got her to hide the rest of the misfits? It'd keep her from actively interfering with Kakara if we gave her a job.
