I would like, though, to strongly recommend that we pick the maximum restriction option for CHIBI in the immediate future. We can and probably will relax those restrictions later, but for right now, I would much rather assert maximum control over Dazarel's actions rather than minimum.

At least until we get the alien army under control, and until we're in a position to Mind Delve Dazarel, I'd like to err on the side of caution and excessive control.

It's not even a matter of caution really - it's that he's mad as hell about all this anyway, and restricting his conversations won't make him meaningfully madder. Later loosening those restrictions is likely to work as a carrot and engender goodwill, which starting off with loose restrictions just won't do.

[X][CHIBI] He is to be refused all contact with people save on your sufferance. You're not going to refuse to give him any contact -- assuming solitary confinement even works on him like it does on saiyans or humans -- but you're going to personally vet each and every conversation he has.

I'm still honestly hesitant to do this, it seems too much to me, but the arguments have been solid enough for me to suspend my reservations out of hope that it's the right call after all. With Andres' subvoted variant which is literally the same thing with some added justifications added to it, the votes should be tied 18-18.

Are you worried that the full-supervision option is too... draconian?
(It's not so bad, given that it's definitely temporary unless he makes no progress at all.)
 
Yeah. I mean, we can relax this standard.

But as I've said, it's a lot easier to start out strict and gradually ease back than to start out easy and clamp down strictness after being given cause to regret being easy on someone. The 'easy' approach is still GOOD normally, when dealing with people who have some reasonable amount of moral center and social instincts, and/or people who have no capacity to cause real harm through their actions. But this isn't such a case.

Garenhulders are easy to convince about new things being old, but you don't want to have to en masse, and if the scouts pick up a TV broadcast where the insolent lizard showed his face, and broadcast it to the wrong person...
 
One thing that I think we absolutely must do is The Examined Life on Ambitious. It's not good that the morally neutral trait is something that some players think will make Kakara evil if she acts upon it. Doing The Examined Life will shut down those arguments and allow the character to progress and do things without being hamstrung by continued fearmongering.

Also it gives +1 action per year, and upgrading it may give us another action per year like what happened when we upgraded Driven.

If my memory's right, the arguments against the path went down once it became Protector. It made a dent there, so ok, while "shut down" might be a tad bit optimistic, putting a dent in should be doable and worthwhile.
 
@PoptartProdigy Hey, sorry if this has been asked, but I cant find it anywhere, but, and this is a bit but, can we learn how to be psychic from our new Chibi!dragon, or does it have to be a racial trait or something?

Perhaps, although it's worth noting that I now see more attempts at rules-lawyering around the trait. That may have something to do with it. :lol

Psychic abilities are ill-understood by your people. You don't know precisely what the details are there.
 
Kakara should start a rap career.

No, wait, I hate rap. She should still do some sort of music.

She's massively popular, enough to have a gauranteed fanbase, it would be fun, and next time she needs to call on people to send her ki for the Genki Dama, she has a song in place to do so.

A music career would take quite a lot of time investment on our part. Now, commissioning a theme song...

EDIT: I bet we're going to have songs written about us anyway. Hell, I bet we already have, given our inventing of GO.

So next year school, seer training, Scion stuff, mind delve, multi form, Tien style, ki sense, magic, misfits, aliens, seal and what ever new fire comes up. Not much room. I am sure that I am forgetting a bunch of stuff.

Not sure if we are ever going to level up telepathy. Also team fighting.

@PoptartProdigy : I really don't see how we could have beaten the dragon without the Genki Dama. Even the fact that all the royals were GO is thanks to us. How would they have managed without GO?

We should be able to use ki to create sound. That might be an interesting thing to look into. I wonder if we can create something similar to music by rhythmically manipulating ki to crate something that can only be felt/sensed by ki sense. Might be an interesting Feat of sensing and control.

If I had to guess, it would have ended up being a much harder won victory with actual deaths and crippling injuries having been involved. With probably at least one of the other golden ozaru being counted amongst the deceased, and possibly with Kakara herself crippled in some way. And possibly with Kakara having to compromise on her no killing rule just because there wouldn't have been any other way to really make Dazreal into a non threat.

Though peaking of crippling, anyone else wonder how long it is going to take Kakara to remember that she lost her tail? Cause I know I literally forgot until i was thinking about this quest and the term 'crippling' in the same sentence.

I won't vote for any plan that doesn't have a dragon action. Since we didn't stuff him in our head we've gotta actively spend time with him to reform him, and we will. Kakara needs to take responsibility for her actions and the OPSEC hole that is Dazarel. Making nice with him is the best way to do that, since I doubt he'll care otherwise if we kill him.
