@weredrago2
I've got to ask, why do LA crime at all, why do it before we turn hawk and can use his people there to help us, and why believe we can even succeed given what we saw of the DC Doom had to deal with?

Yes but I really don't care. Its gunna get done at somepoint. Just depends on what the Diplo situation is on a per turn basis.
And my worry is that someone else will have allied her by that Point and then we have a powerful Enemy right next Door who could've been our Ally if we had just bothered to reach out to her.

*sigh* But as I said, I wouldn't mind @weredrago2's Plan winning too much either.

Not weredrago, but someone who voted for his plan and has been an advocate of doing LA crime for a while

Why do LA Crime at all?
A few reasons. Increased visibility in Doomtown, potential of allies in the city, it helps us better understand the issues facing LA citizens, and it helps us if we want to pursue Roger's election

Why do it before we turn Hawk?
Hawk is kind of a scumbag. I don't think we'll be able to maintain his loyalty. Furthermore, he's being fired soon. If we wanted to flip him, we should've started with that. I don't want to spent 1-2 more intrigue actions just to set Hawk up as a mole, especially considering it the option of sending him out with a bang and tanking Doom's credibility

Why can we succeed?
Our bonus is more than double Hawk's, Russ gets and advantage from Tooned In and Secret Keeper, and unlike Doom, the local toons have a reason to want us there.

Yes.

And then next turn it will be again 'We can do it next turn'.

And then again.

And then again.

You see what my worry is here?

Exactly what I am talking about...thank you

"somepoint" is a dangerously malleable term when dealing with "alien" invaders who are currently building up the forces.

Hi! I'm completely and utterly new to the scene, and I think this is the best quest I've ever seen. Well it's the only quest I've followed so far, but semantics. Glad to be on board!

That said, while I feel somewhat uncomfortable with Hego being in charge of dinosaurs...

[X] Plan: Anti-Toffee Questosaurus

Er...

I don't want to seem like a jerk but please no. Hawk failed that when he got over a hundred on it.

I'll vote for your plan regardless but doing subvert the hawk was a part of your plan I liked.

No pressure or anything though. Just putting it out there.
Really? Huh. I'm gonna have to look at that again. I could've sworn he got something much lower...

Glad to have you on board! But, um... if that makes you uncomfortable, why go for the plan that has that?

I don't think subverting Hawk is a bad idea necessarily; but I don't want to do it while basically having no plan. Presumably people want to expose the fact that he's a Toon and all, but the path from here to there is ???.
Not really. It's more about being aware about Doom current actions.
Take for example latest rival report:

Cloverleaf Industries
[ ] Posthumously ruin Oliver Sansweet

Krakatoa
[ ] Attack the First Municiberg Bank

Take into account that Sansweet was the president of the Municiberg National Bank. And we have very strange synchronicity. Which can be explained by recent SRA hype… or point toward cooperation, with Krakatoa being either recent addition among Doom heroes or Doom being allied with some super faction, for example Middleton Drug Cartel.

[X] Plan: I Have the Honor to be Your Benevolent Overlord, H. Doof

The game of politics is afoot and we need to get in on it. Our enemies are starting to form power blocks and it would behoove us to do the same before they have time to solidify.

... no it isn't. If we didn't have so many people who wanted to spend a Diplo action on being anti-SRA, we would have done the Shego action. And... what exactly do we need to do in terms of our Diplo stuff next turn? Shego, Khan... and campaigning for Flubber. The middle one we can do in two turns, and the latter requires a very high Diplo hero. But, Shego, that's going to be the very first action we choose, simply because it's the easiest Diplo action we have and that, with Goofy, we'll have the highest chance of Critting it...

... basically, we have no reason to not choose Shego next turn.

And my worry is that someone else will have allied her by that Point and then we have a powerful Enemy right next Door who could've been our Ally if we had just bothered to reach out to her.

*sigh* I guess it doesn't really matter. As I said, I wouldn't mind @weredrago2's Plan winning too much.

... why would she ally against us? And, again, we're, without a doubt, doing "Reach Out To Shego" next turn. So the process that would be required to turn her into our enemy would require multiple turns, which would include convincing her that being our enemy is somehow advantageous to her. Which, at the moment... it isnt. Especially if we keep doing Pro-Super actions. And, really, who would want to ally with her that would try and turn her into our enemy? Evelyn? She's either genuine on her pro-super stuff, or she's going to eventually reveal that she was really anti-Super all along. Toffee? Why would she ally with the weird lizard-man that, from the looks of it, doesn't really care about Supers?

We may have different DC's to Hawk especially since he's persona non grata in the toon towns.

Because it's better in my opinion than all the other options, and that's the only part of the plan I dislike haha

You do realize that Toffee actually using the Alien invaders is gunna unite the other Kings against him because both Breaking the Masquerade + Extra Dimensional Invaders right? Toffee isn't stupid, if he's willing to go loud like that, then its because he's confident enough he can win a slugging match against the other kings and the US Government, in which case an alliance with Shego would do fuck all.

No, Toffee is gunna go for a Intrigue/Diplo angle, and our best ways to counter that in regards to Shego are fighting the SRA, general good will towards Supers, not treading on her toes, and possibly starting to sell Dino Meat so her and her people can get more quality food, because with the food situation fucked alot of people are gunna be tempted by Mewei Corn.

*facepalm*

I am talking about *what he is*, not *how he behaves*, damnit.

Why do people keep exagerating and misrepresenting my points?

Being allies with one king doesn't mean its a mutually exclusive thing. Also theres at least no chance she would ally with doom.

I can't speak for anyone but myself but personally I picked Kitsune now over Shego because :
-For all we know, she may not be available anymore by the next turn and god knows we need good occult heroes yesterday,
-She'd be a more usefull back-up plan than Tobe for the auction if Janna gets hurt in Xanadu,
-If next turn Janna is fine then Kitsune can start building some very needed magic defenses while we reach out to Shego.
