Actually, I have a question. @Made in Heaven have we actually unlocked all of the Council positions now, or is there still an Occult position we have to unlock before we actually find out what the Council does?
 
Well, pending his Learning and Occult, Xanatos is looking kinda scary now.

Martial 38, Diplomacy 38, Stewardship 45 and Intrigue 72 (at least) are not the figures of someone we want to turn against us, particularly when he is one of relatively few kings certain to have some kind of Occult score. I think that this is one of the factors we should keep in mind when we decide our final stance in regards to the SRA.

I am also pretty sure that the +20 and +7 modifiers that show up in many of his rolls (at least in Martial, Stewardship and Diplomacy) represent Owen. He seems to be able to use him in more than one national action per turn, too.

Here are my thoughts for next turn.

M - Dinosaur Cavalry Or Energy Weapons (Lizze)
Not much to say here, just making our PMC more killy. It's useful in quests and any future offensive grid actions, putting it ahead of roof lasers.

D - Reach out to Shego Or Campaign Against the SRA (Goofy)
D - Recruit Wendy (Mirage)
Honestly, now that we have access to the grid (or will have once we research the laser) Wendy is more necessary than ever, given her probable diplo bonus with AIs. Otherwise, either crit-fishing with Shego or an obligatory SRA action

S - Develop a new social media platform (P+F)
S - Insuricare (Hego)
Social media for reasons discussed at length already, Hego on insuricare is sub-optimal, but makes a statement. Together they should let us make a decent anti-SRA showing even without the action.

I - Turn Hawk (Russ)
I - Investigate Toffee (Tobe)
Follows up on our conflict with Doom and tries to get enough info on Toffee to get Xanatos against him. Tobe is occult capable which might help here.

L - Survey GalFed ship (Jumba)
L - Research Robo-Doppelganger AI (Von Drake)
Nothing to see here, just climbing tech trees. We're unlikely to need Jumba for any Learning actions outsides his specialties, so having him on Galfed tech now isn't much of a loss.

O - Dance Magic or Tarot (Dennis?) (Whichever is lower DC)
Just filling an action, notably without Janna so she can study with Feldrake. EDIT: I guess we could put a non occult hero here and hope for toon shenanigans.

LOVEMUFFIN - Buy out Lee Industries (or a low DC Dino option if loyalty is an issue)

Which, huh, wonder if that bit about Candace is a joke or an actual mechanic. Regardless, consider swapping that action out with talk with the bossman for talking with Goofy or maybe P+F themselves? That or for Make up with Roger. We really need to get on that.... also it just occurred to me that if we wanted to put forth our own candidate for the presidency like Xanatos is doing; then Roger would be a pretty good option to put forth as he actually held public office before and did a pretty good job. Huh. Yeah, we should probably get on that.

Also, it never occurred to me to put P+F on making a social media platform, but if we want a good one that will serve us well into the far future, then yeah, this would be great to put them on! The DC will raise from 70 to 90, but that's a worthy trade off I think. In general, I think it would serve us well to put P+F on stewardship things that have lower DC in the first place since their +20 to DC won't affect much in that case while also increasing our chance of getting more bang for our buck out of those smaller options. By that logic we should probably put them on the recycling action the turn after next turn as that only has a 45 DC, so it'll only increase to 65 DC, which will be mostly covered by P+F's stewardship.

My only other comment would be maybe putting Technor on Janna instead of Stanley, but getting him out of jail and into our employ sooner rather than later may be a good idea. Between him, Lizzie, Von Drake, and Jumba if we really wanted to we could consider opening our own cape equipment supply store. Sponsoring capes like Olympia is doing with Voyd is what I've been proposing with the Super DOOFS, but we could also just flat out sell equipment or consultations on the side as a discount Edna if we really wanted to.

Also, hopefully between recruiting Wendy and researching the robo doppolganger AI we will be able to accept Norm and CJ as our children within the next turn or two. Other than that this plan looks good to me!

This means, to me, whenever we assign Phineas and Ferb to a stewardship action, we should tinker with our Inators. Or am I reading that wrong?
 
I think we should just make an announcement that we support Superheros and oppose the SRA. We can do stuff after that's done.

Leave using Hego for diplomacy to counter any of Doom's points instead of saying something like "We hire supers!". If Doom gets contrarion with Hego, then it shows that his issue is with us rather than for supers, and if he drops it, then that's showing that we can be reasonably diplomatic, and, not only that Doom was being unreasonable, but that he can be this unreasonable.

Edit 1: Actually, we could do this through Hego.

Edit 2: So yeah, let's have Hego announce that we support Supers and oppose the SRA, if there isn't anything we particularly need him to be doing.

Inators are a crapshoot, but also very entertaining. Talking to Goofy is probably the better move, but ideally we can do that next turn. Getting Stanely off of Technor's waiting list before that nat 100 decays is significantly more time sensitive than Janna, as you said. As for super actions, it depends on DC, but as is we've got a serious diplomacy and stewardship backlog already.

1. Energy Weapons (Lizzie): Increase our PMC strenght and might get Lizzie to Socialize more and I much prefer Temujin get his Dino Steed before anyone else. Or do we need the Dino Cavalry before having a dino on Temujin's Get a New Steed personal action list? If yes then it's Dino with Temujin.

Diplomacy
1. Shego (Vanessa): Shego's DC is low enough we can safely use Vanessa on it. Will also increase Doof x Shego shenanigans.

2. SRA (Mirage): Mirage is a must on this action and I much prefer us doing this by ourself. Xanatos had already taken his stance and us doing this with him now will only make us Coat Tailing him specifically.

Stewardship
1. Media (P&F): We need to take further action on estabilising our holdings in Cyberspace now that we and several other King's would be able to get there via the laser digital pirate is selling. P&F will make an absurd version of this and is the only thing Candace could actually see from the house arrest.

2. Comedy Supply (Hego): We need this to get the castle at the same turn the auction began and I think Hego could come up with some good jokes. Some wants Hego to be put in Insuricare but that would put the castle on hold again so....

3. Insuricare (LOVEMUFFIN): This should make them feel important.

Intrigue
1. Toffee (Tobe): This is a must as we don't know what Toffee is going to do. Tobe is the only one capable of investigating him throughly as he is the only one beside Janna who had a high Intrigue and an Occult stat. Also their names are pretty similar.

2. Crime L.A (Russ): Hawk and the Kanipians could wait. We had just feed Hawk some victories to be let around for at least a single turn and the alien cats doesn't know we know about them. Having a clear idea on what exactly is happening in L.A is much better choice to beat Doom.

3. Star/Marco (Dickens): We promise Janna so this is a must. Dickens as they have the highest intrigue on our payroll and is on our personal action so anyone spying on us wouldn't know we are searching for Star/Marco.

Learning
1. Dino Meat (Ludivine): Toffee hold a very big gun on our reputation's head with how we had rejected his corn deal. Better come up with a reason why we done it. Or is this option not in the Learning National Action? If not then I suggest Silphium. Should open up actions that would increase income and reputation. We can go AI once we get Wendy.

2. Spaceship (Jumba): No other reason than that we wanted it to open up other options and that Jumba is the best for the job.

Occult
1. Research Alchemy (Janna): People says that they want Janna to learn from Felldrake, but isn't this the same thing? Janna knows jack shit about performing Magic and will rely completely on Felldrake's guidance. She is even suited for it considering her trait give +5 bonus. This will also leave Dance Magic for Tobe to learn next turn and everyone knows dancing is better when done in groups.

I don't think Tobe is good enough to investigate Toffee. We should have the Dickens do that July/August, then have them search for Star/Marco September/October.
 
I have gone back and forth in the matter of Lee Industries.

At this point, I think that we should do it.

People have repeated a lot of times that the hero cards are somewhat unreliable and more of a general guideline, but Janus Lee shows up as a M2 D3 S2 I2 L3 unit.

We actually know his Stewardship is at 22, from the Dinoco purchase, and that already puts him in the level of Coyote.

If the card is right, that means he is also likely to have high twenties, low thirties in Diplomacy and Learning. We could use that and it is a safer bet than Wendy or Kitsune, which can be handled by lower echelon heroes if we lock some of our top units into Xanadu this turn, leaving aside the possibility that Lee may have something useful to contribute from Dinoco.

Why not swap out Mirage and Hego? Hego would probably get a good bonus due to being a Super and matches Mirage's diplomacy, and Mirage is a decent Stewardship Hero.

I really really want to get eyes on that drug ring and find out what the hell is going on there. This is sounding more and more like a super-soldier development program using unwitting civilian test subjects.

To help Mirage personal issues mostly. Its clear that Mirage had some scars from what she had done in the past and actively doing something good for the Supers would definitely would make her feel better. Also this is campaigns for the Supers. It would make more of an impact if it's a non super who is doing it.

Getting the castle in time for the auction does nothing beyond potentially letting us sell some of the stuff there. Unlocking Malfy is an additional action. Insuricare might have a non-trivial DC, and we definitely want a success here. If you want to put off AI, then dimensional tech is probably a better choice than Dino Meat or Silphium.
The point of having Janna learn from Felldrake is to get her ready for the auction. This won't do that, at least not without a crit.
 
Two fronts at most and only one of them is predominantly martial.

the cyberwar can be fought with learning/stewardship

the Doom war can be fought via intriuge and Fiplomacy

the Toffy war can be fought martial and Occult.

that's if they all go hot at once.
The problem with this approach is that it forces us to commit all or nearly all our actions to constantly fighting our chosen enemies just to stay intact, because if we leave our enemies alone they come back and hurt us in an attempt to win the 'war.' Notice how Doom started using Diplomacy actions to hurt us now, after multiple turns of us not actually doing much against him.

Also, it means we're very likely to find ourselves in a position where we can't leverage strength in one area against an enemy who's strong in another. Not without dangerously neglecting another enemy. We won't be able to develop tech that helps us against Toffee if we're busy actively trying to beat the MCP in cyberspace. We won't be able to use Diplomacy to turn allies against Toffee if any allies we gain are realizing that aligning with us means aligning against several other Kings who all pose separate and significant different types of threat.

And trying to prosecute wars with all our different action types at a time, against enemies who are in theory free to concentrate all their actions on squashing us if we become a threat, is a losing proposition.
 
Are we planning to go to Xanadu and maybe meet up with Gantu and Bajeet next turn? Since Khan is free from national actions right now maybe grab Janna or tobe for the occult and someone with good diplomacy to maybe recruit Gantu.

Mirage doing this does open up a rather glaring publicity weakness. A genocider of supers proclaiming opposition to the SRA? Bad look.
