Guys I just had an idea! When we buy the Shiva laser it can make the transportation of Castle Doofhawk trivial. If we remove magical items that won't respond well to digitizing then the brick and mortar should be just fine. If it lowers the DC enough we could put Phineas and Ferb on it for crit. Moving a whole castle certainly sounds like a big idea.

You know, for a split second I read that as "Closet Encounters" being an interlude related to Voyd, which made me think "I guess she did really express a lot of admiration of Mrs. Incredible in the movie."

I vehemently disagree, if anything just quietly changing our policies without addressing the situation would make us look extremely wishy washy and if anyone asks "why did you only do I think after the others" our response will be a completely legitimate true "We we're investigating to find what the best approach would be not just jumping into it headfirst like some people"

Plus if doing it now was going to backfire Mirage wouldn't have suggested it

EDIT: Also I have to say I really hope that the DC for Campaign against the SRA has been reduced because A) It would make absolutely no sense if it hadn't been and B) It's kind of bullshit to have an action we kind of need to take or risk a lot of bad shit happening have a permanent, unchangable DC of 100

Did you watch the same show I did? Yeah, Xanatos is brilliant. But in the show he overreaches and gets burned for hubris a bit as often as he succeeds- and he overreaches in ways that are as ludicruous as his successes are. All it would take is some scheme to make the Fates or Furies or some ancient god his tool backfiring and yes, Fox could be dead or imprisoned in a way Titania can't help with.

Let us not forget that Doof loved Perry as much as he loved anyone beyond his daughter, Perry still ended up dead and Doof can't fix it.

My guess is that Fox is not just dead, but dead and undoing her death roadblocked by something really powerful. There is probably a reason so many bad guys 'won' at roughly the same time after all.

Xanatos and Thrawn are similar enough that my experience with the latter is helping me deal with the former, despite having never seen a minute of Gargoyles and only knowing what I've seen in-thread and meme-caliber-Xanatos.

I like $542 or $995.

On the surface, that nominal donation looks like we're bought into the idea that she's dead. "I, too, have experienced loss."
One level deeper, we might potentially be winking at the 'magic' element or the Avalon element.
Two levels deeper, his response to it tells us something.

It gets a little mystical, a little weird, a little game-theory-ish, but dealing with Xanatos means starting to think about Yomi Layers.

Hiding Fox is a good move. (m1)
The counter to that good move is someone going looking for her. (c1)
The counter to that counter is hiding her "beyond this mortal coil". (c2)
The counter to "beyond this mortal coil" is "ah, so she's somewhere beyond the reach of ordinary mortals." (c3)
This is countered by hiding her better, and we're back at Hiding Fox is a good move.

I disagree, partly. I agree lobbying might not be enough but I think we should lobby against it AND take some kind of action. One or the other is probably insufficient at this stage.

Well, they've had two good rolls in a row after losing their lead with two terrible rolls in a row in the early game. Speaking for myself, I'd like to at least try to keep DoofOS not actively lousy compared to this. If nothing else, because otherwise it may put us at a disadvantage in cyberwarfare.

Buying the laser doesn't help us compete with Encom in an OS war.

It may help us in other ways at a future time, but we should postpone using it given how much else we have on our plate. Still, this may be our only chance to get the capability to digitize people, which could be useful in many ways.

That's what I thought initially, but remember that Oberon was also a Gargoyles villain, whereas Xanatos occasionally worked with the Gargoyles. It's possible he succeeded in his plan to return Alexander to Avalon and Xanatos is working to return him.

The same can be argued for the latter when saying the good guys almost always win.

Clu was on a separate system hidden in the abandoned arcade. Not on a encom network. Either it's clu or tron somehow got out and is attacking encom directly. Which now that I think about it is also possible.
