General rules people seem to be forgetting:
1) NO TIME TRAVEL. That will just cause a number of butterflies and pissed off third parties that would just make this delicate setup all the more complicated. We do not need that kind of pressure
2) NO RESURRECTIONS, THROUGH CLONING, MAGIC, ETC.. Khan was a one-off. As much as I would love to have "Perry on our side", to paraphrase characters from Hamilton, it's not happening.
3) PARADOXES ARE AUTOMATICALLY RETCONNED/IGNORED. Paradoxes would be like time travel; it would add a bunch of unnecessary factors and problems to keep track of and therefore are nixed in favor of the larger picture. So, don't worry about it; just roll with it

Since it is likely that Lee industries crit success will lead to Lee working for us, I think we should have Phineas and Ferb focus on that next turn. If it succeeds than Lee can take the lead in corporate actions from that point on. However if Castle Doofhawk has its DC reduced enough then it might be worth it to have Phineas and Ferb attempt it next turn.

Two things.

Gotta get Candice and Vanessa in a soundbooth together to kickstart their singing career.

Second... I wonder if our ex is somehow still unaware of our accomplishments.

They get a penalty to corporate things, so probably not Lee.

They don't seem to crit fail if they fail a roll, it's basically just that they don't get Bare Failures

So basically they either succeed massively or have all the work they did undone and returned to square one

MiH has said that a bad roll on that would get us the exact opposite of what we want and have Doof decide that Norm absolutely isn't his son and is just a robot

The best way to avoid that is to improve our AI research as much as we can
Actually, i think TECHNOR Therapy has a better chance, since it's been implied several times that AI Research alone may not be a good thing when it comes to Doof's decision.

EDIT: Never mind, this is some misinformation. Apparently the results of the AI stuff is a lot more ambiguous. They do have an effect, just not clear whether it is good or bad. Sorry.

Doof therapy to improve chance of good thing to come from those personal actions.

They don't auto-crit on corp stuff and take a -30 penelty. We want to keep them well away from business stuff.

So what Stewardship actions do we have that count as Big Ideas?
Probably these:
[ ] Develop a new social media platform
DC 70
[ ] Start a Greevil Energy Conservation campaign
DC 100
[ ] Move Castle Doofhawk to Doofania
DC 125
[ ] Improve Recycling Programs
DC 45
[ ] Express Delivery
DC 95
There are probably going to be more available next turn as well, so making plans now is premature.

For Social Media it raises the DC to 90. With loyalty P&H would be rolling with a bonus of 67. We'd have to roll a 23 or greater.

Edit: Or rather a 13 with XP.

I would rather place them on dinosaurs!

Ultimately it doesn't matter though. By the very nature of their trait/personality making them want to "go beyond," a platform designed by P&F would turn out way better even on a bare pass (which is statistically unlikely on those odds) than a bare pass in a roll without P&F.

Hilariously enough, the Zaibatsu action for Diplomacy is only DC 45, and Shego 40. Phineas and Ferb have +14 Diplomacy. While it might not be a great idea, I can't help but think that having them talk to our neighbors would only fit into our persona of the 'diseased maniac from Danville'. And Callagan does have a soft spot for precocious children with an engineering inclination...

I am aware. The question is if you would want a crit on food production or social media. I don't think that Dino Farming will have a DC much higher than social media, 90 at most?

Oh which one was better?

The literal entire run of Into Another Galaxy (an old Pokemon/Warhammer crossover Drich did years back on SB) was a lengthy succession of crit rolls stacked up against crit fails. We squashed our opponents rolls so goddamn much our entire tribe got at least one trait out of it because even Drich just threw up his hands at one point and went "fuck it you're unassailable from that angle" - and then we never rolled low enough to need that boost.

Off topic, but I wonder what it says about Bueno Nacho when the DC makes it clear that even they can't fix it.

Sending Hego to it has been confirmed to lower the DC, researching branches of tech related to it probably will too.

I'm fairly certain Tomorrowland and DOR-15 might legitimately just murder us if we start looking that way. There's already a Time War going on, let's not go there.

We will only have them for the next turn so we should be careful when choosing what we're assigning them to do. And we proabbly should tinker with our inators next turn.
Saving the inator roll isn't worth it if it means we sacrifice the wrong other personal action. We've already got the "Dickens" action. "Read Spellbook" is practically mandatory. We've got several heroes we're tempted to use "Chat with the Bossman" on, and "Summon Malifishmertz" may synergize with other action choices, possibly including "Read Spellbook."

Yeah. My concern is whether this can result in us irreparably blowing opportunities to accomplish things.

For instance, the example I discussed before- if we set P&F to moving the castle, and they succeed, great... But if we fail, what happens to the castle? Is this like Janna's flake trait where the action just doesn't take place at all? Or can we end up expending a one-shot opportunity?

P&F's crippling Stewardship penalty to corporate actions largely cancels out their stat on that project, though.

I suspect we have to both research the AI and upgrade Norm with it for it to really take.

Having more advanced AIs and having Norm seem stupid and clunky by comparison might be actively bad, but having Norm upgraded to high-level human-grade AI (which should be possible with the doppelganger tech) should be good.

We've already done Express Delivery, it's place taken by Comedize your Supply Lines, which will probably count as well.
P&F on Comedize Your Supply Lines might go really well.

Maybe.
