Monogram doing the diecast collab and Alan doing Civilian AI along with Roddy doing the upgrade gives us Moseby personal. Also its the only way to get both Diecast and Civilian done now.

Collab with Olympia: An Easy Monogrammable action
Notes: If we want to just get it over with, and we have him avaliable, we can stick Monogram on this and focus on the other actions here. A Common Request is Split/Second if they are collabable, and some might want to put monogram on them even if they are not

I dont think anyone suggested Monogram doing Split Second as the collab option. Doing it independently with Monogram sure, Monogram doing the Olympia collab option sure, but not the collab being Split Second.

Oh I was confused then, i'll rush to fix it and split them in half

I hope Sweet Pete Peter Pan isn't a villain victorious in this world after seeing the Gridlock notes.

Him popping up if we overthrow Doom would be something alright.

Question: I just binge-watched Amphibia, and a thought struck me: could we have an action to buy out Dr. Frakes' Brainasium in California? I was thinking of expanding Wendy Wower's brand into actually lucrative educational centers (now that she's one of the most famous scientists in the country) and repurposing Dr. Frakes, who hates kids and is more interested in questionably-ethical mad science.

maybe? While I'd love to buy out her learning center, recruiting her is something im less interested in. The big issue I feel is Frakes is kind of a fundementally terrible person who's main benefit is probably a one time thing (The ability to ignore the 4% Crit Fail for ODI) unlike Cruella who is a mix of the terrible animated one and the far more sympathetic live action as well as offers a very useful service to us in the long term.

In the end I think Frakes could prove to be more Liability then an Asset since she is a cruel little woman who's main desire is fame. Cruella and Jumba are one thing, they are Amoral but motivated by things that doesn't involve potentially selling company secrets. Frakes wants fame; not caring who she has to hurt to get it. Guys like Tom, Kitsune, and Jumba are at risk because of the fact she would adore "Discovering" magic and aliens. She also I think is to volatile to make good heroball fodder. Even when we do make the ODI, we likely won't publish our findings to avoid drawing attention to it; which means the main benefit she would have wouldn't matter. I also don't know if she would have a large enough generalist learning to warrant use as her speciality is pretty much just a one time thing.

If we want an interdimensional Specialist from the Brainasium, I'd rather nab Terri since she is far less likely to betray us. Even then I don't know she it warrants it; especially since we have Gomez who we can probably train up to be better at summoning things then just Divinos.

That's half-right: Frakes is a terrible person, she would've fit right in with LOVEMUFFIN. But she is also a bonafide genius with a wide skillset. Her portal tech is not the only thing she's invented, she also made forcefield tech that resembles Zero Point plus a bunch of other inventions on a bunch of other fields. She might genuinely be a omnidisciplinary expert like Doof or Ludivine.

Ahh, but that's the thing: you don't sell company secrets for fame, not if you don't want to go to prison anyways. You do it for money.

We can offer her the two things she craves most: validation, as DEI is known in the scientific community as the madhouse of miracles responsible for two groundbreaking discoveries in as many years; and freedom to do research, without having to take care of snot-nosed brats. Yes, she is an awful person with basically no redeeming points, but so is Janus. As long as she's both useful and loyal, that's not a dealbreaker.

I do expect that if we buy her out, we get Terri as part of her Heroball, and if Terri has already quit, well that's important information to have ad well. I wouldn't mind getting Terri as an HU by herself, she's plenty capable. But Terri can only do what she does from learning with Dr. Frakes, and she herself admits that Frakes is absolutely brilliant.

Schrödinger's hero. I don't watch Amphibia. But if they're as good as you say they are, there's no way we're getting them with a simple buy out

It's how we got Janus. And when I said that she's basically a member of LOVEMUFFIN? That wasn't exaggeration on my part, she is genuinely that much of an egomaniac (and a genius), so I expect she would have some negative traits for us to manage. But she's a member of Lovemuffin working alone, with all that entails.

Isn't it safe to assume she's already working with Doom by now, given that we've already seen evidence of his delving into Amphibian tech and that we don't even have the full picture of what he's been up to?

It just makes it more pressing that you move forward with taking him out, IMO.

No? Because 1) Frakes doesn't actually know anything about Amphibian tech or Amphibia in general; 2) Doom doesn't necessarily know about Frakes' portal experiments; 3) We have no idea of how much about Amphibia Doom knows.

That he hasn't started fortifying L.A. for war indicates that probably, not everything, or even the more crucial parts.

Edit: actually, how much of of Amphibia Season 3 changes when you realize the fact that anthros are already a thing in-universe?

I don't think comparing her to LOVEMUFFIN is selling her the way you think it is. They were impossible to work with at the best of times, and while she will likely have far better learning then them do to not being a self-sabotaging mess; she will have major loyalty problems from being an egomaniac.

I am for buying the Brainasium, but more because it fits our status as members of the entertainment industry and our branding then recruiting Frakes. I just feel she won't work out in the long term, and doesn't fill a hole that needs plugging in the short.

While we don't know Kermits Stats, if his Card is anything to go by, as well as using our existing hero Janus, we will at least have a hero with low-mid 20s learning + a Specialist Bonus likely in the 20s, possibly 30s. The real crummy heroes are either just randomly got like Tom and Dennis or from personal actions (Vanessa, Max).

Buyout heroes are normally pretty good, as are heroes from recruit actions; Rolodex is a toss up and mostly is fodder characters, but we still have gotten some sweet deals from em.

Fair enough, I haven't watched S3 yet. I just know the general outline.

I don't think the canon even gets that far in this verse, IIRC Andrias flat out wins during True Colors and Anne and Sasha are dead. Darcy's probably alright, but, well…

I'm doing my best to convey what Frakes is, both the good and the bad. I don't benefit from sugarcoating for the purpose of "selling" her. Even if I tried to paper over the fact that Frakes is both an egomaniac and completely amoral, someone who's actually watched S3 would just come in and correct me.

What is left is for everyone to make their own individual cost-benefit analysis on if she's worth it. Also, there are the benefits of the Brainasium itself as a business venture (loyalty with Wendy and money); and the possibility of getting Terri (a lesser Hero Unit than Frakes, but a waaay nicer person, still smart enough to build a functioning portal out of a garage in a couple of weeks); to consider.

I don't think the canon even gets that far in this verse, IIRC Andrias flat out wins during True Colors and Anne and Sasha are dead. Darcy's probably alright, but, well…
Huh, is that so? Doesn't fit the usual DVV formula.

The fates of the heroes in almost all villains victorious settings are left ambigous to allow GMs to do whatever they like. There have been a few that are stated, such as Numbuhs 2 & 3 joining Mandark and Boogey respectively in Cruel Network, but most are not stated. Othertimes a Hero literally needs to die for the villain to win, such as Roger Rabbit or the villain hates them so much they have to kill em, such as Syndrome to Mr Incredible. But for the most part it is purposely ambigous.

Until we get hard evidence we wont know if Anne and Sasha are dead or not. Darcy is pretty locked in though. I dont remember Andrias' KLR mentioning their deaths as well.

Didn't she cameo at the auction?

Dipper Pines (GF): Unconfirmed, presumed dead

It's possible Bill is possessing him…

Mr. Incredible (Incredibles): Unconfirmed, presumed dead

I had been holding out hope that Syndrome had been holding him hostage under the Sands, but since he didn't reappear after Syndrome got punked I suspect he's dead, too.

Stitch (L&S): Unconfirmed, presumed imprisoned in space
Mr. Incredible (Incredibles): Unconfirmed, presumed dead
Donald Duck (DT): Unknown
We know Gantu dealt with Stitch and Mr Incredible is dead, while Donald is alive
"Wha- did that despicable doctor make another of you little abominations while I wasn't looking?!?"

"Oh, you met the family!" 625 says conversationally as he extends a claw and cuts a hole in the ship's transparent canopy. "Who's the lucky fella who had to listen to you scream?"

"Experiment 626." Gantu scowls. "And I'll soon be sending you off just like your predecessor."

The real KRONOS. Syndrome's revenge for a petty slight you could never begin to justify. Your employees simply stare at you, mouth agape. Hego watches silently, considering you with eyes you dearly wish would look away, as you tell of more dead than you could even count, offhand, an entire generation of heroes decimated. Gazerbeam, Everseer…

"...Mr. Incredible?" Hego asks, quietly.

The tears begin to flow freely down your face. "He would have loved you." You say, in between heaves that wrack your thin frame. "He was kind, professional, brilliant. He never stopped fighting, ever, until…"

I hate to say this, especially since I can't really confirm which are and which aren't, but several of these are just incorrect.
...

Well, dammit. I'll try to fix them, and I appreciate the fact checks, but... well.

Also, I'm just stating what we as questers know through the canon interludes and omakes. Most of them are unknown to us because they haven't appeared at all
Didn't she cameo at the auction?
I'm not sure if this is right, but I think there was something about Owl House possibly not being used in the quest, so I'm keeping those blank until I get a confirmation or a denial.
