Not thaaaaat confident but Mezmerella does have 15 martial, she's no fighter but she's not helpless either.

Now if we were really worried, Marco has 16 Diplomacy, only 4 short of Mezmerella's - we could maybe send Marco with Mirage for the calming job and Mezmerella with Lizzy for the fight, hoping that Lizzy with Hego's help would be enough and that having Mezmerella on hand for the fight might help discover the mind control.

On the whole I still prefer the original split though.
 
Spitting the party is a little counterproductive in a chaotic situation. We have no idea what could happen further down the line so I think it would be best if we stayed together for the time being.

[X] Calm the supers, Edna can either help you doing it, tag along until she don't interfere or leave.
 
im curious why people want to send the ant queen against the living inferno....
like, does she have (elemental)fire ants already? not to mention, iirc, the animal uplink suits aren't ready yet.

Edna could be a problem, but I don't think that any argument will help more than actually doing something will to change her estimation of us.

I was thinking that we should prioritize evacuation, but now I think about it, they might not be in as much danger as it would seem. Evelyn isn't a complete psycho, so she's unlikely to be having Warren actually aim for them. For that matter, from a purely tactical standpoint, she'd want to keep the civilian casualties from villain action to a minimum, to make the heroes look worse. So as long as we keep Warren occupied, preferably with someone who won't cause more problems, he won't be looking to do anything to make us pay attention to him. Frankly, Marco is an excellent choice for that, after dealing with Star for as long as he has (and he's just that safety conscious). Lizzy... actually, this is a pretty terrible match up for Lizzy. Ants and fire doesn't really go well for ants, generally.

As for calming down the supers, if we're lucky, Doom has given us the groundwork there. Maybe we can be the good cop to his bad cop? With Mez playing... convincing cop? Anyway. Ideally, we could convince the supers to stop using their powers, and help evacuate civilians.

Yeah, she'd probably be better for evacuation. And hey, she could probably do it without actually leaving our group.

So, for the sake of everyone knowing, here's some things brought up by our qms on the Discord:
If you want to split the party in a write-in, that's acceptable, but be aware that this could be problematic down the line as each part of the party won't be able to rely on anyone else's stats.

I will note that Lizzy has brought the socially acceptable amount of giant cyborg ant borgs to this party.

My understanding from what C-Moon has talked about is that it's more narrative, but it may affect how she's able to force project.
