That might not have happened here. If it did, there would have been a major divergence years before the ducks comics began. Which is our primary source here, with the subsequent adaptions and spinoffs.
Ah. I see. Still, it's a thought. Really gets the omakes churning and the people thinking, you know? Besides, it would be really good dramatic conflict for Della if she ever found out Scrooge ruined himself for her sake

Ah, so if we got to the moon first, we'd have gotten Della Duck as a (probable) Hero Unit? We probably should have tried that sooner.

Still, since Donald and Scrooge vanished and nobody knows where the triplets are, let's hope she reaches out to Uncle Von Drake, eh? ... Oh hell, we don't even have the correct Von Drake for that.

Still worth a try, I suppose. I'd love to have Della heading our Space Program.

Wait. What is on Mars? Marvin the Martian? Is the Martian Empire from that Daffy Duck space adventure cartoon a real thing?

Della Duck fits into a slot where canonically a character must exist, but was never portrayed until the 2017 Ducktales reboot. Using that version of Della to fill the slot makes sense.
This is so close to the truth that I'm only bringing up extra details for the trivia.

Della had a handful of nods to existing over the decades to prove Huey, Dewie, and Louie came from somebody, but never actually explored. Only very recently did a Danish story explain she was lost in space and will probably never return. This singluar story out of nearly a century of them was the starting point for her adaption into the 2017 series.

I don't know what dark deal was struck that allowed them to make Della an actual character, but I hope the trend continues in future media. I just doubt it will because Disney tends to get rabbid when it comes to depicting their IPs and cross-contamination of characters is limited because of it.

One thing we can be certain of is never finding out who the triplets dad is.
You fool, don't you see? It needs to be a Duck who has some sort of connection to her family, and would feasibly be around them at least some of the time in order to interact with her...

The obsession to be around her family, the drive to seek them out, the being the correct species and not related to her...

Their father can only be...

DENNIS THE DUCK!

The sheer memetic potential makes me yearn for an omake where Dennis's obsession with finding donald is partly because he wants the triplets to have as many family members as possible, and they keep disappearing.

Maybe we can cooperate on building Moon base. Every respected supervillain should have at least one. Don't bother with rockets, continue to develop portals technology. Then take environment adaptation to obtain space dinosaurs.

Screw it, doing this because now I'm inspired!

Moon Base-Inator
The Good: Your Inator has created a fresh new lair on the moon itself! With a nifty little teleporter to let you go to and from there! A new lair is established on the surface of the moon, with a teleporter to come and go as you please.

The Bad: Your Inator has created a new lair on the moon, but fat lot good it does you since you can't actually get to it at the moment. Or know where exactly it is. So it is just gonna... sit there, you guess. A lair is established on the surface of the moon, but you can't access it until you figure out where on the moon it is located and secure a means to get to it.

The bad version of this is only bad if it costs us something. The version you've described is more of a 'neutral' result (most likely outcome, we accidentally create a new moon base for someone else to move into, with no real effect on us).

So the bad version would be, dunno, one of our existing lairs gets teleported to the moon and effectively disappears?

Wait.
How does Della being on the moon fit in with people (presumably) not knowing about scrooge launching a fleet of rockets to search for her?
