I mean, I'm pretty sure our amount of successes this turn happened to fall along that ratio as well.

I don't think they'd want to be kings in all honesty. Well Daffy might but Bugs probably knows that isn't really what he wants.Hey.... if Bugs and Daffy keep rolling well, do you think those two will become a pair of kings together?
they don't really do subtle either so it would more than likely end with giant chunks of illicit business getting interrupted and thrown into random chaos. possibly affecting more of the crime factions than just the one they strike against. may lead to more attacks on them or cause people a stay away order if the damage is big enough they are just one casino after all and not a criminal one at that. don't go poking the cosmic karma tiger.I don't think they'd want to be kings in all honesty. In any case I can see them being a non king faction that doesn't really do much beyond put on shows and generally enjoying the spotlight without having to worry about bills.
Right up until someone is stupid enough to piss them off. While I imagine they aren't the strongest units out there both of them (especially Bugs) are the kind of karmic force that could cause a lot of problems for pretty much anyone who wronged them.

more like 160Wasn't it said earlier that MiH was having to roll about 250 dice or some similar number for this turn? We probably only saw a small number of things when compared to the entirety.
250? I knew this was a team effort but holy cow, this quest is huge.Did you guys really want to see all 250 rolls? Especially if the majority would have to be censored?
Or just a raw stat block. dont even need to know what faction rolled which rolls, and what they did. just two numbers. how many overall fails, and how many overall success among the rival factions.Did you guys really want to see all 250 rolls? Especially if the majority would have to be censored?
Did you... NOT KNOW... that we fired the Probabilitinator? It's really really not.
Rival report summary:
That's rivals showing more than 75% critical successes.
- 63 critical successes
- 1 critical success
- 2 quests
- 19 critical failures
- 1 ???
- 1 Doof critical failure
- 1 terrible random event
Did you... NOT KNOW... that we fired the Probabilitinator?
Because every normal success turned into a critical success this turn. You... know that... right?
And I assume you... do know... that our rivals usually undertake actions that they expect will succeed, not fail, right?
So... you would be aware, I assume... that enemy actions would on average succeed most of the time, as opposed to failing most of the time?
So why the sense of shock and betrayal when roughly 80% of randomly chosen rival actions happen to be successful, and then chain into critical successes?
It could be something like the nuclear power research, in that he'd need to look for Star for a long time before getting actual results, and continued actions would result in the DC lowering. That being said, Toffees attempt to suceed only had about 2% success chance, which means that he expected to fail there or was being really cocky alternatively.
Hopefully the critfail set him back several turns thenIt could be something like the nuclear power research, in that he'd need to look for Star for a long time before getting actual results, and continued actions would result in the DC lowering.
I'm aware of the inator yes.Did you... NOT KNOW... that we fired the Probabilitinator?

Star crit succeeded where Toffee crit failed. He's absolutely taking a significant setback from this.
I thought it was 125?Did you guys really want to see all 250 rolls? Especially if the majority would have to be censored?
So something I just learned, the three-episode miniseries Dinotopia was co-produced by Disney. Does that mean it is a part of the Gridlocked setting?
Askin' because, while it might never become relevant, I am tempted to write an omake about it. Because an island of sapient dinosaurs being out there would be funny given we resurrected regular dinosaurs.

There was TV series that was a sequel to the miniseries (not sure if Disney also had a hand in that), and it ran for 13 episodes.Yeah it was on ABC back in the day and there were talks about a tv show that ultimately never materialized
No, no, no.
