Looking at the options from last turn, and depending on what gets unlocked this turn, I'd like to suggest the following:

Martial: Upgrade Normbots, Wendy Wower. Useful upgrade, and a great practice run for her upgrading Norm the following turn.

Diplomacy: Not sure, but maybe reach out to Shere Khan and Glomgold? Low DC, useful for introductions. How does Wiley for Khan and Janus for Glomgold sound?

Stewardship: Establish a Bakaemono Supply Chain for that sweet, sweet DC reduction and Solidify your Hero Structure to help us with the work for building the black ops group.

Speaking of, for Black Ops I was thinking the following course of action:
Next turn, Solidify your Hero Structure and work on Wasabi's personals. Following turn, recruit Go-Go Tomago and Fredzilla. Then, black ops team with Go-Go, Fred, Hego or Wasabi, and Khan. For their first action, have them reorganize our PMC and finally get that second Martial action.

Intrigue: Investigate the Death of Alonso Hawk, since it seems like a limited-time offer, with Agent Russ; and Spy on your Employees with Mirage (maybe she'll be the one to catch Kat, since she did such a great job for Syndrome of finding supers who didn't want to be found?)

Learning: Full dino focus, to boost our income and really take advantage of our lead in that area. Large Herbivore Domestication with Jumba and Environmental Adaptations (Dinosaurs) with Ludivine. Maybe exotic vehicles or extradimensional tech with LOVEMUFFIN? After finishing the Dino chain, I'd like to turn Lizzy loose on her specialties - animal uplink suits and insect control, and finally finish with a deep dive into the GalFed ship, Uburnium, and the SHIV laser.

Occult: Study Dance Magic with LOVEMUFFIN Juniper. It's literally why we hired her, after all.

Maybe the Felldrake World Tour? Janna, NORM, Kitsune, and...ideas are appreciated.

Personals:
Doof: The only one I can say with definite interest is writing a musical. Others will depend on the outcome of this turn.

Goofy: I'd like to give him some personal time. Working on his degree?

Khan: Technology

Monogram: OWCA

I don't want to go through all of them, so the only ones that really stand out to me are having TECHNOR psychoanalyze LOVEMUFFIN, have Max play video games (after Spoonerville he'll need some R&R), letting Alan do his ???, Marco and Tom to look for Star, and Malf to take care of his goozim menagerie. Maybe Gary will get a friend!

It's the possibility of a crit. Doof and Ludivine have a combined bonus of 78, and the DC of Extradimensional tech as it currently stand is 60. We're already guaranteed to succeed on anything but a Nat 1, so I figure it might be worth the cost to lower the DC to 50 and go for a critical success as well.
...does a Nat 1 kick off an invasion by 2nd Dimension Doof, let Toffee know that we can enter his backyard now, or bring us to the attention of Phobos?

Or worse, all of the above

I'd prefer it if we had Ludivine get to work on teaching LOVEMUFFIN next turn. They desperately need a higher Learning score in order to be reliable enough to put on the more difficult projects, and if being kept off of the more difficult projects is the cause of their low loyalty then we can't wait to get their loyalty up before trying to improve their stats.

Even a very good result from Ludivine is only going to have, at best, marginal results.

Gaining 1-3 points in Learning is not going to make them more useful in a meaningful way, if they want to be involved in the DC100+ Learning actions.

You know, there's something I've been thinking about.

Isn't it unfair that L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. hasn't been given any personal actions?

That's why I support having them do a Write-In of "Do Mad Science".

Trying to teach them (implying they're not already geniuses who know everything) would lower their loyalty even more.

This turn, we already tried teaching them, due to accidentally assigning Ludivine to both a national and a personal action. It's since been edited out after the error was caught. The results noted that teaching them was rather difficult because they were surly, but didn't mention an actual penalty to loyalty (whereas the critfail on the company retreat specifically did), and it didn't say that their surliness was because of being taught by Ludivine as opposed to general discontent. I don't think that they're going to respond as badly to mad science training as people think.

I think it may be worth trying anways, though. It mentions in the personal action's description that the results can be more dramatic depending on the difference between Ludivine and the hero unit's stats, as well as the hero unit's temperament. I'm willing to bet that we could see more dramatic results if we manage to get LOVEMUFFIN temporarily mollified (or if it turns out they've already been temporarily mollified by getting the chance to work on space).

Next turn ideas
  1. Wasabi on Hero limit action (Maybe provide Personal Attention here)
  2. Juniper on Dance Magic
  3. Collab with Xanatos on new OS or decoding Drossel?
  4. Collab with Shego on drug trade or something else (maybe)
  5. Norway quest with Janna, Marco, Lizzie, and Norm as backup (also giving him more people to interact with, and he has a storage compartment for loot)

I'd wait for the Ego interlude to see what that ends looking like, post Probabilinator conversation.

Also, I'd suggest diplomatic channels with the US government. It could help in terms of income and with the loyalty of Russ. Both are pretty important, seeing that the Dream Queen situation is apparently active now.

A Monogramming Misadventure
A Monogramming Misadventure

Janna chuckled to herself as she took the newly monogrammed red smoking Jacket from out of the Boss' Room-Inator, which was, as far as Janna could tell, not an Inator at all, but just a room full of other Inators. Of specific interest this time, was the Monograminator; a device with the limitless power of.... monogramming anything placed in it. From what Vanessa mentioned, it was part of a scheme Doof had to Monogram the entire tri-State area to prove that he was the true and proper Owner and thus, the rightful leader, of the tri-state area.

It hadn't worked, Which was kind of strange because pretty much every other insane scheme the boss decided to embark on did. Still, it was perfect for her purposes!

She looked over her loot. Shiny red with black swirls and gold accents, comfortably plush, high quality fabrics so that he'd want to wear it.... Everything was Perfect for Marco's belated Christmas gift. Now to just find Marco...

____________

Marco was sunning himself on a rock, like a lizard, except laying on his back.

"You dead?" Janna asked sneaking up behind him outside his field of vision as his eyes were locked on the clouds above.

"Wha-!? Janna! Don't do that!!!"

"Sure thing, dork," She smiled mischievously. It had a lot more teeth to it than her smile had in High School. Kitsune had been training her.

"How do you- Nevermind that," Marco decided shaking his head. "Why are you here?"

"To give you your Christmas present, dork..." Janna replied with a wicked grin.

"My Christmas present?" Marco replied with uncertain wonder. "Is that it?"

"Yep!" Janna agreed, passing over the carefully folded garment.

"Oh wow, this is really soft," Marco marveled as he ran his fingers over the silk and cotton that went into making the garment.

"Nothing but the best now that I'm employee of the year!" Janna replied.

"Our boss made you employee of the year!?" Marco remarked, shocked. "When did that happen!"

"At the Christmas party," Janna replied. "Before I called him to ask for reinforcements for the whole.... gargoyle thing."

Marco Nodded. "Right, that... Do you need to talk abou-"

"Not right now. Why don't you put it on?" Janna interrupted.

Marco eyed her suspiciously.

"What did you do to it?" he asked, suddenly suspicious. It was a nice smoking jacket. Suspiciously nice.

"Nothing!" Janna replied in mock offense. "I even got it Monogrammed for you!"

"Mono-" The bottom dropped out of Marco's stomach as he realized what she must have done. Trembling, his hands unfolded the fabric to reveal the letters left behind by Janna's mischief: I. M. Cazador.

"JANNA!" came his call, echoing across the open air until it reached the girl cackling her way into the distance.

"Merry Christmas, Marco!" Janna yelled back. "And a Happy New Year!"

We have Wasabi and last I saw there were plans to recruit Fred and Tomago, so I assumed we would be going for these guys (yes, including Fred) for the Black Ops Team.

Or White Ops, whatever works.

We should. Problem is that with Juniper we're at 29/30. So we can only recruit 1 more Hero Unit unless we increase the cap, fire someone, or just throw some of our Hero Units into a Hero ball

Norway quest with Janna, Marco, Lizzie, and Norm as backup (also giving him more people to interact with, and he has a storage compartment for loot)

I'm against this. I want to get Janna to study Magic which we've been postponing for turns and turns.

Dennis should be on Norway because of the Donald lead; and if Dennis is on Norway, I want Jumba on Norway for the planned Sandwich syndergy Heroball. Norm is good on Norway too. I have no other preferences for Norway.

The way I see it, we've gotta prioritize.

We can do the Norway trip or we can do the Alonso Hawk investigation next turn.

So, which one should we do?

The Hawk investigation. That one is guaranteed to be in a timer at the absolute least, and may or may not have an increasing DC. It's also our best chance to hit Doom's public image.

That's assuming DoofOS doesn't launch us into another Crisis. But Yeah, I agree with Hawk.

How's this as an odd suggestion? We don't put Ludivine on Instructing L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. because I doubt it would have much of an effect, and it might have a negative effect if it rolls badly.

Instead, we put Ludivine on her repair the martian robot personal action to increase her martial, to increase the chances of her succeeding at the Upgrade Norm Martial action.

That should be enough for Norm to be able to end his platypode obsession on his own.

Huh, that might just work.

One thing I am heavily against next turn: Assigning LOVEMUFFIN to the other-dimension-inator action.

Multiple reasons:
  1. It's incredibly important to our current plans/goals/promise to Janna, and with them at -60 Loyalty, LOVEMUFFIN has incentive to sabotage it, sell it to rival, etc. (and they have lower CoS compared to others as well)
  2. More importantly, LOVEMUFFIN might actually hate the fact that they are assigned to it for a few reasons
    1. The DC is low
    2. The reason WHY the DC is low: Malfisishmirtz already put in a huge majority of the research effort into the inator (as evidenced by the 80 DC drop), so despite the importance of the inator, LOVEMUFFIN isn't doing the important part of the action, the research was already done by someone else and they could easily see themselves being called in just to 'clean it up'.

Other actions I would rather assign to LOVEMUFFIN:

[ ] Research exotic vehicles
[ ] Study the SHV 20905 Plans
[ ] Research Greco-Roman Terraforming

Each of them have pros and cons, but these 3 seem cool and challenging enough for LOVEMUFFIN to approve.

I agree that Lovemuffin wouldn't be a good choice for the Extradimensional tech, and for the most part I have no objections to your list of ideas for things that might improve their loyalty, even if I believe the SHV plans would be best. However, I would strongly recommend against the Animal Uplinks Suit for two very important reasons.

1: Kat is still around, and if we complete that research before we get rid of him he's likely going to steal it for his own use.
2: Lovemuffin still holds a grudge against OWCA, and they are the...people(?) that we'll have use the suits the most. Building super suits for their old enemies is not something likely to improve their loyalty.
