On the topic of power armor, we got this: "Option to outfit troops with power armor unlocked!"

Do y'all think it's an individual Martial Action, or group Martial Action? The second would be pretty OP, but if it's the first, who's in favor of getting Janna or Marco power armor?

The group version will probably be "weaker" on an individual scale in a way on account of being mass-produced in contrast to the Armor worn by our HUs (including Doof)

Simple a pragmatic observation

Off the rack vs bespoke.

We should have felldrake and our great uncle involved with the construction of Janna's armor. Have that thing optimized for use by a mage and have it rock the power armor battle mage motif.

It would have, but instead we have a prince of Hell. It's not much of a downgrade.
To be fair, Tom doesn't help himself by being constantly confused. Sure, DEI is certainly an adjustment, but even Marco is pretending to know what's going on, while Tom just takes any opportunity to point out that he's got no idea of what's happening.

Like this, you mean?

Say what you will about Trollhunters, but they had decent talent working in visual design.
I was thinking they work the robe into the desgin, or maybe a tabard like element paired with a cloak held on by a Quick release clasp (it gets caught it gets pulled off before it becomes an issue. Enough of the armor is visible to intimidate but enough is concealed that that it hides Janna's build.

Personally i think that this would fit best with Janna's style and way of fighting

"Every group will have their exceptions." Hudson said, stepping very carefully. He had to provide enough, but not too much. Silently he cursed Xanatos once again for getting them pulled into one of his schemes, especially one this desperate. And the man was desperate, as much as he wouldn't agree. "Like all people. But far more Gargoyles wish to live in peace with humans."

Hmmm, dunno about that impression of Xanatos, Hudson.

"The prophecy mentions 'the veil' lifting, but it's left ambiguous as to what veil, or indeed lifted by whom. While it might be assumed that this could refer to the magical masquerade, remember that up until less than a month ago, gargoyles were just as mythical. So I simply chose to… pre-empt the inevitable. It was a half-cocked plan, by my standards. Full of holes, a bodge job. But that's something to worry about tomorrow. Tonight, we have a chance to keep the whole house of cards from falling down, assuming my interpretation is right and we survive the evening."

This bit right here sounds to me as if Xanatos does aknowledge - if not outright desparation - at least a certain uncharacteristic-for-him brashness in how he handled things.

Also, I am an idiot for not realizing until now *why* the Interlude "Ave Maria" was called that way.

The Latin phrase "Ave Maria" quite literally translates to "Hail Mary" in English - even though the actual figurative equivalent in Latin would probably be something else entirely.

If I recall correctly, his shop got wrecked by the PCs in the course of their adventure (in the game involving Agent Russ) and he swore revenge because retail work sucks. He strapped a Tank to the bottom half of his body and rampaged.
You do not recall correctly. Major Retail is from MiH's Crossroads game, not my DVVG in CAH game. Agent Russ was not in Crossorads, barring the funny crossover that happened later. Major Retail swore revenge on the Crossroads party because their bumbling in trying to "save" his store from a villain he hired to rob it for insurance money caused it to be wrecked entirely. He had artifical legs already from a prior injury and swapped them out with the tank body, Bonebreaker-style. The X-Men villain Bonebreaker was his token pic.

For record keeping's sake, it was my suggestion to have him come back as a villain, but the insane rants about how retail sucks and the rampage against the chains he had issues with were all MiH.

That sounds like a guy with a relatable backstory! Major Retail, Doof, and Grunkle Stan should co-star together in a comedy about how to heist something from a big retail chain run by Toffee.

EDIT: My assumption is that this would turn out much like a game of Monaco, with tons of security chasing them with guns, people blowing up walls, and frantic benny hill chase scenes.

So, it just recently occurred to me that we have a potential hero unit available to us, for probably minimal effort, that we should look into: Carl.

I'm not sure, but I think he basically already works for us, as part of OWCA and part of Monogram's stat block. Frankly, though, I think this is a waste. In some ways, he's more competent than Monogram is, and likely has more growth potential too. Heck, for that matter, it might be good for Monogram overall to not be taking Carl for granted any more.

Moreover, I wouldn't be surprised if it only took a single conversation with Doofenshmirtz (and maybe a raise, especially if he still isn't being paid) to get him on board. Frankly he's criminally underappreciated, to the point where it's just possible that Shego might just hire him away from us if she found out.
