I'm totally down for this, but I know people are going to want to either reach out or collab with someone else for the second action. I would prioritize Heroic capes over villains since we actually haven't used that option yet. Mirage also does her more reliable gacha action.

There's a lot of people wanting to recruit twice, so don't give up quite yet. Still, even as I want to do two recruits, I have to say that I don't think this person who could help us will be hidden behind an action that we might or might not pick.

I always drop the link when people ask for it. Keep in mind this is the link for the DVV Discord, not a hyper-laser-focused DoofQuest Discord. DoofQuest has been funelled into its own channel so the rest of the server isn't flooded.

I wouldn't be so sure, we know from russ's bossman chat that prophecys like this can be fuged in our favor it we do it right.
Plus, what could be a better way to look for people who fit our needs than by holding interviews?

If this is about success in an area where others need help instead of where we hope to help, then we don't necessarily need to know that those others can exist. The cybug breach into DoofOS, where refugees fleeing the MCP have been going, should qualify, or this could be referring to ENCOM Legacy.

I don't have any concrete proof that the sun is going to rise tomorrow until it happens but I still expect it to happen with very high probability. Kat is the result of a bad event roll, is evil in his canon series and is infiltrating DEI under false pretenses. I find it exceedingly unlikely he is genuinely an ally of DEI. If you want further in-quest evidence then the Spy on Employees option (and its changing DC) to catch Kat doing something nefarious would not exist if Kat was not doing something nefarious. There is also DoofQuest- a Disney Villains Victorious CK2-Style Quest Crossover
Which makes it quite clear that Kat is stealing resources to make illegal weaponry without our knowledge.

Yeah, Spy on Employees has existed since the very beginning of the quest. It did not start because Kat came along, it just became what people thought would reveal Kat
 
I'm pretty sure the Probability-inator has nothing to do with this latest reading.

Serious face mode: this inator has nothing to do with needing forgiveness, or even really needing aid. Potentially deciding to warn or not warn our fellow Kings about it is ... well. It's a warning. Not an aid. We are not helping people. And forgiveness just, just, nothing. Nothing to do with it. Not even a little bit.

With regards to this prophecy, though, Kat isn't something we can act rashly on without full knowledge of the situation. We either know what's going on with Kat or we can't take action at all.

All of this screams to me to Russ. Like a lot. And if it's about the situation it could be about trying to help HL escape the Yakuza that are blackmailing her, why secrecy? because of Globby.

However given this, it seems more like that person is Mirage. She fits extremely well the intelligence, independence, and secrecy and has achieved a crit success there, tripling the DC in fact. Also she reached out the Zaibatsu and her interlude was about Bakemono Corp, the ones blackmailing HL.

This fits really well with it being about HL, if we're not carefull and don't know what we're doing we would get a Globby in the face. There's also the fact that we don't really know why HL is working for the Yakuza nor what she did to gain her "friend slayer" title.

And as mentioned by others all of these qualities can apply to Fred and by what we know about the Akuma Island interlude he seems like he'd like to help HL. It also fits quite well with the negative qualities thing. Moreover, he does have an interlude incoming.


So putting all of this together I get:

Honey Lemon needs compassion, aid, and forgiveness. Mirage who is intelligence, independence, and secrecy recently has achieved an incredible success in the area (The Zaibatsu, more specifically Bakaemono) where Honey Lemon needs help. However, trying to help her without understanding what is going on could be disastrous because of Globby. Someone that would be able to help us would be Fred who is hyperactivity, fun-loving, stubbornness, impulsivity, and a difficulty following society's rules.
 
Another possible interpretation: we need to get the Duke on board before poking the drugs. I like the Honey Lemon one, though.

Hmm...well, since Fred and Honey Lemon have been brought up, we do still have the result of Russ and Max forming an information network in Sanfransokyo coming up. That might shed some light on things...actually, was that a critical success too? I don't remember.

I feel like these prophecies didn't help us as much as the last ones.

They are CLEARLY important and contain direct warnings that if we act rashly disaster can strike and there is a specific person we can recruit that can help us figure it out.

But it's still vague enough we don't know which potential disaster it's referring too or anything that's specific enough to know exactly who to hire.

And something really bad is happening around star but we don't know what to do about it.

These are picture perfect prophecies. Helpful but not helpful.

Edit: I really like that honey lemon one though. Let's act like it's that.
